Atreyu hat uns am Tag der Führung, die eigentlich abends hätte stattfinden sollen kontaktiert und mitgeteilt, dass das Wetter zu schlecht für die Führung ist. Nach schnellem Austausch haben wir uns dann spontan 30 Minuten später getroffen. Die Tour war sehr informativ und er hat mit Begeisterung von der Stadt erzählt und. We had a lovely tour with Atreyu. While not a native of Strasbourg (or France for that matter) he was very well versed in the history and culture of Strasbourg, and how it 's unique place between France and Germany has influenced both its food and its culture. There were 4 of us on the tour with Atreyu and he provided us a great afternoon of fun, learning and delicious food. He introduced us to many local delicacies and it was obvious that he researched many unique places to take us. We even had a picnic of amazing cheese and bread on the steps of a famous statue. My family and I had a great time on our tour with Atreyu. We loved trying all the new foods and the local beers. Atreyu was a wonderful guide. He had lots of great information to share about Strasbourg and the foods we where tasting. He was great a being flexible with our group. He was able to adjust times to accommodate our cruise shuttle and he adjusted his walking tour to accommodate some of the group's mobility issues. I would recommend him to anyone coming to Strasbourg and looking for a more personal tour.Wonderful experience

We had a fantastic few hours with Atreyu trying many new foods while enjoying a locals tour of Strasbourg! Our young girls 9 & 10 tried all the food and enjoyed their tour. The 9 year old maybe didn't enjoy all the food but Atreyu entertained us and made sure she found a few yummy treats along the way. Atreyu was a wonderful host and guide, very knowledgable about the history, food and even trees. He is definitely passionate about what he does. He also quickly saw that we were more interested in the food than the history, so he just gave short, informative notes about the historical monuments. From the moment the seven of us met Atreyu we knew it as going to be a great tour. His smile and wanting to connect with us from the onset assured us of a rewarding experience. He did a great job going over some history in Strasbourg. We enjoyed that he got some fresh, local foods to try. All of the food we tried was very good. Just for information for others, we only went into one restaurant at the end; the rest was outside (he brought along some things and then picked some other things up from some places). If you tend to get cold, that is good to know. It also includes a fair amount of walking; we enjoyed that but also good to know for what shoes to wear. Lots of great info and good food.

Our historical and tasting tour of Strasbourg with Atreyu could not have been any better. Atreyu is an engaging and knowledgeable guide, who has a great sense of humour and is terrific company. Atreyu guided us through the complicated but very interesting history of Strasbourg and Alsace, and explained how the history had affected some culinary matters. His local knowledge is excellent and his choices for tastings were great. Our tour started with warm knack (wurst) with mustard. We then walked to our first stop and we tasted two types of Munster cheese with delicious nut and fruit bread. Then into the Strasbourg centre for mini Kugelhopf (which were delicious - moist and tasty), eclairs and tarte flambée / flammekuechen with a glass of Alsatian crémant. Overall an excellent tour with a great guide!An engaging and excellent guide

I specifically opted to have Atreyu be our guide because our group enjoys both trying new food/drink and learning about the history of where we visit, and in his profile there's something to the effect of "I love food and history and I try to bring that to my tours". This was quite the understatement. Atreyu did an incredible job of pointing all sorts of interesting details and stories about the various parts of the city we walked through. As we moved through the different parts of Strasbourg we also ate and drank so many great things, truly the best combination of eating/learning for 3 hours. Atreyu's passion for food and history is completely apparent from the moment you begin the tour. In addition to the food and history stops, he not only provided a Google map of his local restaurant recommendations, he also helped us re-think (read: gave us better options than what we had) our dinner plans for the next couple nights (shifting dinner reservations) and gave us some incredible recommendations for our day trip to Colmar (yes Atreyu, we ended up in Eguisheim, it was incredible, thank you!). Thanks to Atreyu, our group unanimously agreed that of our 2 week trip to France (Nice, Strasbourg, and Paris), the Strasbourg leg was the favorite part and he played an integral role in that decision.WOW, eat, learn, repeat!

Meine Familie und ich (3 Generationen) hatten eine sehr schöne Führung mit Atreyu. Trotz 30°C war die Führung sehr kurzweilig und spannend erzählt. Zudem hat er auch sehr viel Rücksicht auf meine Großeltern genommen und vorzugsweise bei Sitzgelegenheiten angehalten und etwas zu Stadt erzählt. The tour through Strasbourg was fantastic. Atreyu was super friendly and not only showed us the must see attractions but also gave a lot of suggestions for good drinks/ food etc. We learned a lot about Strasbourg diverse history and the whole experience felt more like a walk with a local than a real guided tour, which was very pleasant. Die hat er mit sehr viel hintergründigen Informationen aufgewertet und uns so einen sehr kurzweiligen Nachmittag geboten. We hebben met ons gezin een privé high-lights tour gevolgd in het Nederlands, en het was een fantastische ervaring! We waren met z’n vieren, inclusief twee tieners van 11 en 12 jaar, en onze gids Atreyu wist ons allemaal te boeien. Carlos was substituted as our guide. A nice young man but…. Poor English and not that knowledgable. The tour start time was not 3pm as booked but 5pm which meant we didn’t visit the cathedral, the key attraction of Strasbourg. Not a good start to our visit. Disappointing!
