We had a wonderful time with Eric on a chocolate tour of Brussels! He took us to both the popular, well-known chocolate shops, as well as smaller shops who are doing amazing things with chocolate. Eric provided extensive details of Belgium’s history with chocolate, as well as providing valuable context about Brussels. He even found a gluten-free waffle for my daughter! He was fun, easy to chat with, and incredibly knowledgeable. We highly recommend him!Chocolate joy!

We had a fantastic experience with Eric. Our meeting spot was easy to find, and we began our tour by ascending to the rooftop bar of a nearby building, where we could see the whole of Brussels from above. Eric was truly a wealth of information. He is a native of Brussels who obviously loves his city and is eager to share its history and unique charm. Over the course of our 3-hour tour, we covered much of the central part of the city – all the major highlights, as well as a few “hidden gems” that were off the beaten path. And at every stop, Eric explained the history and significance of what we were seeing and thoughtfully answered all of our questions (and we had plenty). We especially appreciated his extensive knowledge of the demolition and reconstruction of many parts of the city that occurred throughout the centuries, and where the few remaining medieval sections were located. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Eric is amazing, and we will definitely book with him again on our next trip to Brussels – maybe even for a guided day trip to Bruges or Ghent. Our Tour of Brussels with Eric was fabulous! His knowledge of the city he calls home is amazing. My partner and I recently had the pleasure of taking a walking tour of Brussels with a local guide named Eric, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. Our day in Flanders with Eric was a wonderful way to end our Belgium holiday. Eric made certain that we were able to visit the sites that were most meaningful to us including a stop at the American Cemetery and a drive through the countryside ridges where my great uncle John fought and was wounded. Thankfully my uncle came home, but it was so important to us to pay tribute to all of the young men that did not. Eric's expertise of the events and places that defined WWI gave us a keen appreciation for the sacrifices and bravery of the soldiers that lived it. We enjoyed lunch in a local restaurant where Eric went out of his way to help us order the best local foods including fries, Belgium stew, and of course Belgium beer! We even swapped stories about our favorite leek soup recipes. The tour far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Eric for providing us with memories of our time in Flanders that we will long remember. Eric was knowledgable and enjoyed the subject. Good company too. I had a lot of questions as I already knew quite a lot about the chyronology of the battle - or thought I did ! Seeing the topography and putting the chronology into context was a salutary experience. Extraordinary to visit there alone. Nevermind the main battle site. Still can't quite fathom the French obsession (a costly one) with Hougoumont. A bit late to ask Napoleon now. Merci encore une fois, Éric, pour ta superbe visite sur l’Art Nouveau. J’étais déjà très heureuse que j’en ai trouvé une, car au départ cela paraissait sans chance malgré le fait que Bruxelles est la capitale de ce style. Pendant plus de 3 heures on a parcouru plusieurs endroits tout en se déplaçant en moyens de transport en commun et vu une belle quantité de splendides maisons Art Nouveau, des témoins éloquents de leur temps. En étant une passionnée de ce style, je n’arrêtais pas de prendre de photos jusqu’à ce que mon portable ne se soit éteint juste devant la dernière maison :). Qu’est-ce que le temps passe vite quand on est en bonne compagnie et on apprend beaucoup de choses intéressantes !Merci Eric

Eric nos recibió en un día especial para la ciudad vestido con un traje tradicional; nos sumergió en un paseo histórico por el centro de Bruselas, haciendo referencia no solamente a datos históricos sinó también a leyendas, acompañandolo todo con notas de humor que nos hicieron reir un buen rato. Destacar que Eric respondió con creces las preguntas relacionadas con temas históricos y políticos que nuestro hijo mayor hizo, con un dominio espectacular de la historia, no sólo de Bruselas, sinó también de Bélgica y de Europa. También comentar que Eric nos recomendó un buen número de sitios donde comer o tomar alguna cosa, tanto locales turísticos como sitios más autóctonos.
