Antonio is a delightful guide. He pointed out so many sights on-the drive from Barcelona and in the small nation of Andorra. One unfortunate aspect - which was due to our choice and for which Antonio is not in the least responsible - was our need for a six passenger van. Three of us had to sit facing backwards and viewing was adverse, especially those in the center seats. Antonio was in the front (although he offered to sit in the back) and we had se difficulty hearing everything he talked about. Nevertheless, Antonio was very accommodating to personalize our interests. Andorra is beautiful

Antonio arrived at the pick up point earlier than requested and patiently waited for us. He is such an expert in all things Girona. I highly recommmed him to anyone who needs an in depth review and expert on Girona. I was initially uninterested in discovering more but Antonio just started to whet my appetite and he slowly weaved in the culture and moved on to the really unique places in Girona. To the extent, I fell in love with the town eventually. I can totally imagine myself living in. Antonio is truly a gifted tour guide, and I would highly recommend booking with him above anyone else. He felt like part of our family, and we are so grateful for everything he had planned for us. We were traveling as a family with two small children, and I cannot emphasize enough how nice it is not to have to worry about logistics when wrangling children. Not only was everything planned out at a pace we could all keep up with, but every consideration was taken into account. And Antonio is so easy going and informative about the area and history. He showed us places we would not have thought of, and a restaurant we would have never found on our own that was so delicious! Antonio's tour to Monserat was excellent. The vehicle was immaculate, and he is a very safe driver. He was very organized and made sure we had all the right tickets. He knew all the tricks to make sure we made the best use of our time. He provided just enough history/background without going into the weeds. Giving tours is a bit of a side gig, so it was interesting to get his perspective on what's going on in Barcelona and Catalonia. Antonio was so responsive from the first moment we connected about our Barcelona tour. He picked us up at our hotel with a smile and enthusiasm for our Montserrat excursion. Antonio was very good. He told us a lot about the places we visited and catered to us. We visited several towns in Andora. We lucked out with the weather so we were able to the mountains and saw some snow in the upper parts. He spoke good English and I would recommend him. When i was searching how i would plann my trip to Andorra from Barcelona, my bigges issue was, i only had 1 day, so ineould have to maie the most of it. So i found With locals, that proposed a private tour where i could costumize acording to my needs. Thats exacly what happened. We where able to reach diferent parts of Andorra, not only the main city, we went to pictoresque smaller villages and scenary. Tony knows the place as the palm of his hand, so you make the plan and he makes it happen. If you dont have many days to spare, and you really wanna know the country, not just the shops at the center (wich we still did go by the way), i believe this is your best option!Tony makes you see a whole country in 1day

Day 2 of traveling with Antonio was excellent! He took us to Andorra and customized our visit to focus on great food, beautiful views, and history. Antonio's lunch recommendation was outstanding with authentic food and warm hospitality. We loved our tour of Andorra!! Antonio was so knowledgeable and has such a passion for the area. We learned so much over the 11 hours we were with him! He’s also very flexible and will adjust to your needs (my family needed food often! ) We went into Andorra thinking it’s main attraction was shopping and came away enchanted by the small villages and unique stories Antonio had to tell. My husband and I booked one tour with Antonio. Antonio worked with us to customize a tour of specific places we wanted to see, we were interested in visiting Girona and some sites on the Costa Brava. We had a wonderful tour of Girona, he gave us a really fascinating explanation of the city's history and even showed us places that where featured in Game of Thrones, we are huge fans of the show so that was really cool to see. We also visited the medieval towns of Peratallada and Pals which we also really enjoyed. We did some shopping at the ceramics town of Bisbal and visited antique shops. After, we had lunch at a beautiful little seaside town of Palafrugell Calella and Antonio helped us make reservations to a popular restaurant in town. The food was delicious and one of our favorite meals from the entire trip. After lunch we visited several beaches along the Costa Brava which was one of my favorite parts of the tour, the Costa Brava is absolutely beautiful. The beaches we visited are not always offered on other tour companies which is one of the reasons why we were interested in booking with Antonio. We took other tours during our trip and this was by far our favorite, we wished we had more time to book another tour with Antonio. Overall the day was wonderful and we felt like we were touring with a friend. I highly recommend booking a tour with Antonio! Girona and Costa Brava

Our day with Antonio was wonderful. Antonio drove us to Montserrat to take in the beauty of the surrounding area of Barcelona. Antonio is a true local who grew up in Barcelona and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. Montserrat was an amazing place to visit and Antonio adapted our tour to our particular interests. When our kids needed a snack, he found a place to grab a quick bite. Visiting Andorra with Antonio was a perfect experience from start to finish. We were looking for a way to experience the beauty of the Pyrenees, the culture and history of the country, with some hiking along the way, and this trip delivered on all accounts. Antonio is extremely knowledgeable and interested in making the day exactly what we wanted. He is high energy and we had great conversations in the car while going to and from Andorra. We visited Andorra la Vella as well as some other small towns and took the audioguide tour of the old Parliament building. We were quite surprised with how well organized and interesting our visit was to a very old church with accompanying museum. We made it high up into the mountains to an incredible lookout, and we hiked a short/medium trail with beautiful views of the mountains and lakes. The trails are easily modifiable based on how much hiking you want to do. Would recommend doing the restaurant option for lunch to try some authentic food at a quaint restaurant up in the mountains. Couldn't believe how much we fit into one day! Thank you, Antonio! Will definitely take more tours with you during future trips to Spain! Antonio was so much fun! Some of our travelers had difficulty with hiking and hills and steps, and he was as accommodating, patient and kind about our slowness and needs. He took us to a lovely local restaurant with delicious, fresh food, but he gave us so many options along the way for us to choose the best trip for us and our needs. When we met with Antonio at the appointed time, my first thought was he was not at all well groomed, as you would expect from a representative of a reliable tour company. When my friend and I got into his car, we were both taken aback by the condition of his car; it was very dirty. The floor of the car was so grimy, I didn’t want to put my purse down. It also had a very unpleasant smell. We were setting off for a very long drive in this already unpleasant environment, but did not want to mention our feelings to Antonio while in the confines of the car. We didn’t want to hurt his feelings. However, about twenty minutes after leaving, he began talking about how traffic and road disruptions could seriously make our drives both outward and back much longer than usual. Instead of getting back to our hotel at about 7:00 that evening, he said it would be closer to 10:00. What really caused us rising concern was that he said that road blocks and closures were due to the many protests happening at the time. He even told us that some protesters would stop cars. At that point, we were actually frightened of becoming threatened by a dangerous situation. We said that we wanted to cancel the day, and go back to our hotel. Antonio seemed very surprised and immediately said he could not offer us a refund. Rather than address our concerns, he offered to take us somewhere else, and we declined. We had spent enough precious vacation time in this dirty, smelly car. When I contacted the supervisor , Sibby, to complain, she apologized and offered us a small refund. When I pushed further that that was not satisfactory, she came back with a 50% refund, stating that they still had to pay Antonio, and that he had kept his calendar open the entire day for our tour. Later, she said she had contacted Antonio and according to her, there were two very different sides to this story, and she could not offer us any larger refund. This was not only disappointing, but rather insulting. I will never rely on Withlocals again. We asked to turn back.
