Joao was pleasant but 30 min late and we had to ask probing questions to learn more about Porto. We’ve had many guides & tours and have been satisfied but this was a little disappointing but maybe he was just having an off day. He did show us a lot of the city and that was good It was okay

Very informative and fun. The only reason this is a 9 and not a 10 is that it was a bit heavy on the history of Portugal and some of the church stuff. We had a great walk through the city and Orlando gave us plenty of instructions/ tips. He took us to Banco of Materials which was very interesting. My one regret is that I didn't pay closer attention to the website when booking because one of the reasons I chose With Locals was the advertised option to go on a tour that highlighted "hidden gems" and a local experience. André's profile noted his love of music and I was hoping the tour would revolve around that interest at least in part, but I now realize I should have hit the "customize this experience" button when booking. My sister and I began our Portugal trip in Porto. We booked the Kickstart tour with Priscilla our first morning to get the lay of the land. Walking from our hotel, navigating through construction and maps on phone that didn’t work great, we ran about 10 minutes late. Thankfully I was able to communicate with Priscila and she waited for us and gave us our full tour time. Our tour was very comfortable and informative and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
