Being a Sydney based Withlocals tour guide I wanted to do a tour with another WL guide. Ngoc Ruby was a Vietnamese version of me. My husband and I wanted a hybrid city/food tour for 5 hours which may seem like a long time but in my opinion not long enough. Ruby packed so much in, took us to historical sites, introduced us to street food and took us to a few Michelin rated restaurants. It was truly a wonderful start to our Vietnam trip. This is the second walking tour we did with Trang but this time food tour. Trang is an amazing guide with great English and such a warm friendly person. I had a few food places and cafes I wanted to go which Trang incorporated into our tour without any issues. She took us to some places I would not have gone otherwise and the food was so tasty. We all (family of 4) loved every bit of it and would highly recommend Trang as your guide.

We had a fantastic tasting tour with Lien (family of four with 2 young teenagers). She took us to places we would have walked past and introduced us to food we wouldn’t have tried. All was delicious (snacks, meals, drinks and desert) …and the teens tried everything. We were still full the next morning! She was very knowledgable about Hanoi, the food, the local restaurants we ate in and how to eat the different foods, plus gave us advice for our onward travel.
