Simone was amazing! He was engaging, funny and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time exploring Rome's nooks and crannies. We covered about 20 time more of the city than you could ever see on foot. Simone took us on safe side streets, with only a few busy areas. Not too bad. I would advise being a confident bike handler before considering this trip, because you have to navigate through a few busy areas. Your mileage may vary. Overall, super fun!Don't hike, bike!

I highly recommend Simone. Our ride across the city of Rome began in a New York style "Central Park," greeted by an enthusiastic and cheerful Simone. We spent the majority of the morning with him, exploring many of the usual tourist locations. Yet, he also paired it with unique locations, views and neighborhoods that also gave us a sense of the Roman lifestyle. We were on day 12 of a 13 day trip in Italy, and he kept our weary family of five engaged and curious (including a young adult and two teens!). We all loved his "story-telling" style -- immediately creation a connection with our teenagers. Everyone in the family said this was one of our most favorite tours. Simone was so sweet and accommodating. We gave him a broad list of spots and he did his best to get us to visit all of them. Simone provided the bikes for us which was terrific, though be sure you are ready for a workout…the bike tour is no joke! As two young adults, a few breaks were needed (which Simone was happy to accommodate to), but be aware that the bike ride is a quick paced city tour with many narrow busy streets. Simone was a wonderful guide. When it was clear my father in law couldn't handle the biking, he quickly switched us to a motorized four seater and he took us all over downtown in it! On July I took the wonders of Rome bike tour 1-1 with Simone, and it was great. I had so much fun despite the heat. We really were able to cover a lot of ground in the bikes and I got to see areas I hadn't before. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try something different, you will not be disappointed. On top of all this, Simone gave me a lot of insight on the daily lives of Romans. I would definitely take this tour again on my next time in Rome. 10/10Such a fun tour!

The perfect way to get a quick understanding and overview of Rome. Simone listened in on our expectations and delivered a fun, interesting and active day for our family, two adults and our 17 year old son. Not a dull or quiet moment while we were biking small, hidden streets as well as major stradas of Rome. Biking was also a great way to cope with the heat. These three hours were the best spent one in Rome, we learned a lot and can’t wait to go back and deepen our newly found knowledge about the eternal city. We had a fantastic afternoon with Simone on the cycle tour. We felt we were in safe hands as he took us on a tour which included the Borghese Gardens, Spanish Steps, Jewish quarter, palazzo Venezia and we had time to stop for an ice cream. The two of us (mother and daughter) had a great time riding on a bike with Simone. He showed us hidden places as well as some common spots in Rome. Of course riding a bike is a little crazy in Rome (specially when coming from well organized Switzerland ;)) but Simone was choosing calm streets without much traffic and it was easy to go. Simone was awesome. We were running late and he was patient and professional. Didn’t expect or ask him to give us full time of tour due to our being late but he did. He showed us some fantastic local sights, neighborhoods and landmarks. He was funny, friendly and genuine wanted to give us a great experience. A very genuine person. The ride is was exhilarating and a totally unique experience riding through central Rome on a bike. He introduced us to the best pizza I have ever eaten and may ever eat. Our night time bike ride round the historical centre was a great start to our weekend in Rome. We hadn’t been before and it gave us a great introduction to the city. We met Simone at 5pm just after sunset and spent the next couple of hours winding our way round Borghese Park, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colliseum and many many beautiful little alleyways, churches, squares and side streets. The Christmas lights made everything extra pretty and we were amazed how quiet many of the sites were at night Simone told us so much about Rome, it’s history and culture and also gave us tips about what to do on our weekend. We followed up his restaurant suggestion and had a delicious meal out. He took good care of us in the Roman traffic which was not nearly as bad as expected. In fact we thought Romans were incredibly patient towards cyclists, compared to their British counterparts. Thoroughly recommend it!Night bike ride

I wasn’t sure how this would work out since the busy thoroughfares of Rome are intimidating even on foot. We started in Villa Borghese park then descended into the city with Simone expertly maneuvering through a route mainly on small cobblestone streets, stopping to take in both popular and hidden attractions. Three hours is enough to convey the general flavor of the city. Simone’s appreciation of hid birth place is contagious. Biking through Rome with Simone was quite the fun, interesting, and insightful journey. It is obvious that Simone not only loves his city but also knows all the best routes filled with history and culture. If you let him know your interests, he will guide you to the places that are best suited for you to absorb. The biking itself was easy as Simone also knows how to avoid traffic ( cars and foot) and hills. This was the perfect way for my friend, who had not been to Rome since childhood, to get an overview of the whole central city and be able to focus on areas to explore on foot. Simone took us for the most amazing sightseeing bike ride of Rome. It was personalised throughout the tour and he took us to places only the locals know about. Many Thanks to Simone for our fabulous bike ride on 9th April 2019. He was very relaxed, polite and informative – providing us with just enough history to make it interesting and memorable. He took us to various interesting sites around the city and it was great to just follow him around without looking at a map all the time! Our 12 year old daughter really enjoyed it and it was the highlight of our week. Its a great introduction to the city - you can get your bearings and its the best way to get around and see everything without the kids complaining about all the walking !!! The ride was supposed to last 3 hours but ended up nearer 4 ... and the delicious gelato at the end was most welcome - although it was quite difficult to choose which flavours to have - from the 150 on offer! Thanks Simone - we will definately look you up next time we visit! Fabulous Bike Ride!
