Choji is a highly experienced and energetic! He shared his knowledge of the city from both a historic and food viewpoints. We had a 10 hour layover at the Lima airport and thought it would be fun to see the city of Lima instead of sitting at the airport all day. Alfredo was kind enough to arrange for us to be picked up and dropped off at the airport which was a big plus. We enjoyed seeing the city of Lima through Alfredo's eyes. choji was waiting at the spot previouslly stated on time and took me to a very interesting walk tour through the center of Lima. He is quite knowlegeble about Peruvian geography and history besides knowing every spot in the city. I told him that I had particular interest in visiting Larco museum, he told me taht it is far and drove me to the museum, at it was a very good experience. My day with Alfredo left me feeling happy. He showed me and my sister around Lima and it was just a perfect day. We saw murals, we saw paintings, statues, interesting architecture, had a great coffee and had lunch at a great restaurant, we had a pisco tasting and much, much more. We had fun! I contacted Carlos when we arrived in Lima - he met with us with very short notice, so accommodating! Carlos has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Peru and loves to share it. He showed us all the varieties of architectural styles around the central part of the city also. Carlos speaks several languages & communicated very well in English. We also enjoyed hearing about some interesting local folklore stories! It was such an interesting day. Carlos made it fun & educational. We booked Alfredo for our tour in Lima for my Mom and myself. He was very helpful with organizing the trip that we wanted. I have been to Lima so I knew what I wanted to show my mom, Alfredo put together a great tour package and even showed us two sights in Lima that I was not aware of. He arranged for transportation from our Hotel to the city center. From there we went on a great walking tour filled with facts, unique insight into Lima, the history of the city and the culture and even gave us surprises to remember our time in Lima. M. Carlos est très sympathique et cultivé. Ce fut donc une visite culturelle interessante de Lima. Mais son français est trop hésitant pour conduire un groupe qui a « spécifiquement » demandé un groupe en français cat l’un de nous ne parlait pas anglais. Autre chose : la visite dure plus de 4 heures et nous n’avons eu aucun temps de pause ( la bière et le sandwich prévus n’ont donc pas eu lieu ni la visite de la cathédrale où les billets d’entrée étaient pré-payés.)merci ... mais

Alfredo was very knowledgable and interesting as he showed us important sites and shared some of the history of the area. He was very willing to customize the tour and went above and beyond in extending our time to include Miraflores, which is a must do in my opinion. We were able to arrive just before sunset, which was magical. Alfredo even arranged for a driver to pick us up and return us to our airport hotel. We had a few communication challenges in setting things up with him but they were well worth the quality of our actual tour experience. I would highly recommend Alfredo as a tour guide!Fantastic tour!
