Lavigna was a wonderful tour guide for our family (including two teenage kids, age 18 and 16, with travel experience). Bruges is a wonderful and enchanting city, but it can feel very touristy, particularly if you do it wrong. Having a local guide like Lavigna allowed us to see and learn about the city in a way where we didn't feel like we were simply dropping by "medieval Disneyland". Her passion for the town and her knowledge of its secrets and history made for a wonderful three hours, and allowed us to spend the rest of our day relaxing and enjoying the charm of the city without having to feel like we needed to "check the boxes". As 2 diabetics and 1 picky eater, we were a challenge for Artur, but had a great time on the tasting walking tour. It was a nice mix of city history and site seeing and food tastings. We didn’t eat as much as he wanted us to but was plenty for us and included chocolate, waffles, frites, beer and stew. By the end of the tour it was like old friends getting together over a beer. Artur, our amazing guide, worked with us to customize our tour to include some places and things we wanted to see and do. He is very knowledgeable, knows the history of the city and sights, is well known throughout the city and showed us some wonderful hidden gems we would have missed if not for him. Parks, green spaces, canals, cathedrals, squares, shopping, waffles for lunch, beer, and lots of chocolate. This is a beautiful city and our time here was spent with a truly wonderful person and excellent guide, Artur. Right from the beginning Lavigna was great. Super communicative right from the planning stages to the tour itself. Lavigna toured my husband and I through the popular and hidden spots. We had coffee, chocolates, a little shopping and tons of sightseeing. We did not know what to expect with a food tour, and we were thoroughly delighted with our day with Patrick. Open to anything, we let Patrick control the itinerary. He was extremely organized as he walked us through town, sharing city history as we walked between food tastings. Patrick has great passion for history, and he was so engaging throughout our tour. Wij zijn ons weekend in Brugge gestart met een tour met Lavigna. Dit was super want door de rondleiding ”kenden” we direcht al een aantal punten in de stad voor de rest van het weekend. Lavigna vertelt vlot en weet veel leuke feitjes over Brugge; je komt dankzij haar op plaatsen waar je normaal niet zo snel komt. Ze sloot direct goed aan op onze groep wat super fijn was. Ik heb zo hard genoten van de toer.. het was leerrijk en super tof. Heel leuk dat er nog mensen zijn die de kennis en geschiedenis meedragen en doorgeven.
