We were a family group of 11 visiting Valencia for the first time (grandparents and grandkids included) and Maria did an exceptional job at providing historical context whilst keeping everyone interested with fun activities for the kids and teens.
She came well prepared for the tour with games and pictures and was flexible enough throughout to allow for additional breaks and minor tour changes as necessary given the size of the Group.

Wij vonden de tour van Maria er interessant, want ze wist heel veel te vertellen over de stad en de geschiedenis. Ze heeft ons meegenomen naar 4 verschillende plekjes waar we een drankje en wat tapas hebben mogen proeven. Ze houdt rekening met dieetwensen waar nodig. Our tour with Luciana was the highlight of Valencia! Beforehand, we were able to share our wishes, and Luciana took them into account perfectly! Besides the delicious food, she also knows a lot about fun neighborhoods and spots in Valencia that we otherwise would never have discovered. She’s very social, which makes it feel less like a tour and more like a friend simply showing you around the city. Afterwards, we even received a list of restaurant recommendations for the rest of the week. Truly fun for young and old, the time just flies by!

Before we commenced our tour with Luciana we exchanged WhatsApp messages re meeting up and she finished with “ Let’s have fun “ . That’s exactly what we had on this tour . We met at 7pm and essentially had a night out - food tasting and drinking in very well chosen tapas restaurants and bars . We finished off indulging in the local concoction Agua de Valencia - one jug wasn’t nearly enough . Fabulous night , fabulous tour Luciana is a terrific guide ! Highly recommended. Lets Have Fun !

This was the perfect way to start my visit to Valencia! Maria was such a lovely, knowledgeable guide. She clearly knows and loves the city well, and I really enjoyed hearing some of the history and the different kinds of architecture. Not to mention, all of the spots Maria chose for food were fabulous! Great variety of local places and stands at the central market. Cannot recommend this tour with Maria highly enough! Do it!! The initial connect with Cesar over Whatsapp was very pleasant, it was very easy to find him at the meeting point. We started at the Fresh Market where he showed us some nice tastings that we would have never stopped for. Then we continued to a tapas shop accross the square were we had Paella and fried shrimps. We continued to see a few more sights, and also the Silk Exchange where Cesar shared interesting historical facts. Overall Cesar is a very friendly guide, he could be a bit more sharing on own initiative but we consider this a minor point. Lovely tour through Valencia

Maria was very flexible after I booked the wrong tour initially. My wife and I toured around the Canyamelar - Cabanyal districts for 2 and a half hours. Although we know something of the area, having visited several times before, we were introduced to lots of new aspects of the area, from historical details to architectural examples, street art, museums and restaurants. We had a great tour with Cesar. The communication with the meeting point was all clear and Cesar was incredibly knowledgeable and proud of Valencia. He asked us what we liked and how much local info we wanted to hear, which was great.
The food stops were places that were generally used by locals and his recommendations were great. He also explained why he’d chosen the dishes and their connection to Valencia. Cesar has a great sense of humour and it felt as though we were with a friend rather than a tour guide on another booking.

Too many our guides simply just tell you facts, such as the date of this building and the name of that building etc.; facts that one forgets within a few hours after the tour. Mimoza instead tells you what Valencia is about, tells you interesting stories about Valencia and explains the background about what you are viewing; stories that linger in the memory.
