Well, in a nutshell Cesar was an awesome guide! Ne really took the time to personalize our fun filled day of sightseeing and food tastings across the North area of Palma de Mallorca. He was on time and we promptly took off in his vehicle on our tour. We covered quite a bit of territory with perfectly timed stops at various towns and cities / villages like Palma, Pollencia, Alcudia and many other mountain and coastal villages along the way. One of the highlights was our stop on the Northernmost part of the island at a wonderful lookout spot with wonderful views of the mountains and Mediterranean. We took some more time in a few sights like Alcudia to learn the history and take in some of the Roman ruins located there. We also made quite a few stops to take in some wonderful Spanish snacks and lunch at the Bar Stop restaurant which was absolutely delicious. Another nice stop was our visit to a local winery for a wine tasting of some local wines. Very educational and the wine was awesome. Cesar also did an amazing job of teaching us about some of the history of Palma de Mallorca and how they came to be what they are today. Long story short you cannot go wrong booking a tour with Cesar in Palma de Mallorca. Enjoy your time in Cadiz and the great food as well!Adventure in Palma de Mallorca!

We spent a day with Cesar, and it was by far the best experience we had on our holiday. Cesar customized our trip to meet the needs of our older friend who was not able to walk long distances. He took us around the island and showed us beautiful vistas and villages while giving us some history and little-known facts along the way. He even took us to a small museum in a train station full of Picasso and Miro work and we were the only ones there which is quite rare these days in Europe. You will not be disappointed if you book with Cesar just do it sooner rather than later as he books up fast!Best day of our holiday!

Cesar was awesome, he had a ton of historical facts to share that even my kids enjoyed! He is very flexible and makes additional stops based on how the conversation goes. He made an impromptu stop to show us an amazing beach and made a stop for snacks when my son mentioned he was hungry! He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off for our evening cruise. It was clear from the beginning that Cesar cared about our happiness. Because of a difference in calendars between the USA and Europe, I accidentally booked the wrong day! Cesar was wonderful and after sorting his schedule agreed to tour us through Mallorca with only an hour delay in our original start time. We were THRILLED! Our tour with Cesar was great! His knowledge of the local history was impressive and very informative. Our ship arrived at port a little late and he was kind enough to adjust his schedule to accommodate our late arrival. Valldemossa is a beautiful town and a must see, especially for Chopin fans. He treated us to a special Valldemossa sweet bread...Coques de Patata, which was yummy! He also customized the tour for us by showing us Deia and Palma. My only negative comment is that the car is a little small for 4 people. My husband and brother are both over 6 ft and the 3 of us in the back were a little cramped. Our experience with Cesar was outstanding from start to finish. He worked cooperatively with us to design two full-day itineraries that comported with our interests and dietary needs. Cesar was punctual in picking us up from our hotel each morning and made appropriate adjustments to our plans as needed based on traffic, opening/closing times for sights, and the like. Parenthetically, Cesar navigated steep hairpin turns (such as between Valldemosa and Port de Valldemosa) and tight parking with aplomb. He is knowledgeable about Spanish history in general and Mallorcan culture and history in particular, and never hesitated to answer our questions or give dining or beach recommendations. He even brought us to an archeological site in Palma that none of the guide books mentioned and introduced us to his wife, who worked there. My wife and I have already recommended Cesar to friends considering a future visit Mallorca.

Cesar was awesome. He has overly accommodating with a late minute request to add 2 additional people to the tour. He was knowledgeable about Mallorca and had hidden gems of knowledge. Drachs cave was awesome and it was pretty clear that he had the 'in' with all the folks working there and had secret ways to get us in the right place at the right time ;-). We’ve traveled extensively over the past two decades—on every continent except Australia (so far)—and have had well over 100 tour guides, including more than 40 through Withlocals. In my work as a global health researcher, I’ve also had countless encounters across cultures and countries. And I can say, without hesitation: Cesar is the best tour guide we have ever had. His knowledge of Mallorca was both expansive and precise—not just facts, but stories that brought the island to life. He shared fascinating historical and contemporary insights into the island’s people, society, and geography with remarkable depth and clarity. We did two tours with Cesar. The first took us to the Drach Caves, with a stop at Nadal’s Tennis Academy and lunch at a fantastic local (non-touristy) restaurant. The second was a 1/2 day trip to Valldemossa and Deià. While the destinations were beautiful, what made the experience unforgettable was Cesar himself. Cesar is not only a tour guide—he’s an active commercial pilot, flying to/from London 2-3 days/week (!), a published novelist, a songwriter, and a person with a rich and inspiring family history. We arrived to Palma Mallorca from our cruise ship. We did a walking tour on Highlights and Hidden Gems of Palma de Mallorca with Cesar. I can't say enough about how great it was. Cesar will give you history, details, connections with our own countries, and personal details I can't believe you could get anywhere else. It was absolutely fascinating. He clearly loves his city and is passionate about sharing it. We saw more and learned more in a few hours than relatives who spent several days there!
