We have just returned from our trip to Florence and wanted to say thank you to Dina for our tour of the artisans of Florence. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and it was interesting to see both some old techniques and also an innovative new approach keeping the artisan tradition alive. In addition, what we saw on our tour gave us a deeper appreciation of what we saw subsequently in the Medici Chapel the following day. Our tour also involved cappuccino, panettone and ice cream which is always a good formula! We would have no hesitation in recommending Dina if you want to find out more about the renaissance city. Dina took us on a great tour of the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery. She was very responsive in planning our tour and made adjustments based on what I requested. She was willing to do less than the usual 4 hour tour since we thiught that would be too long for us. Dina was such a great guide that she made our time at the museums one of our favorite activities. She knew just the right pace to go and how much detail to give us to keep it interesting for our group of six. Aside from being so informative she was so fun and easy to be with. Highly recommend taking a tour with Dina! We had a personalised 5 hour guided tour with Dina to introduce us to ‘all things’ Florence and the highlights. The afternoon flew by, so much to see and do. Dina was passionate and knowledgeable, giving us some depth of information where wanted and introducing other elements to our tour to raise our awareness to things we may have missed entirely. She brought the city, it’s history, it’s structures, art and community to life. Not an inexpensive way to take a tour, but exactly what we wanted and therefore definitely worth it. Dina is just a lovely guide, and coped very well with one of us being unwell on the day, and having teenagers in tow. The tour involves a lot of crowd-wrangling, which Dina was very efficient with. It is hard to pack in a lot of art-historical content, due to crowd and time constraints, but we all very much enjoyed the tour and learned a lot.Very efficient tour

Dina was a lovely and knowledgeable tour guide. My daughter was sick the day of the tour so my husband stayed back with her and I had a solo tour. Dina was so kind and offered to go to the pharmacy. We loved our family tour with Dina. She kept our 6 and 9 year olds entertained for the 2 hour walking tour. Dina is friendly and the stories she told us of Florence we would never have learnt about by ourselves. After hearing our girls liked art and craft she took us into a store where the lady showed us how they do marble paint designs. Then Dina took us to her fav gelato store! Our family went on 2 tours with Dina in Florence an had THE BEST time! She is such a fantastic educator-- so knowledgable, engaging and interactive. We traveled to Italy for our first time ever! We booked Dina for two tours in Florence. We love how flexible and informative she was in curating an itinerary for both days of our tours. The shorter tour we booked "Where the Locals Go" and she truly shared her favorite coffee shop, shops, and food places (and why they were her favorites) for example. On our longer tour we visited more historical places but every stop Dina had so much knowledge and insight to why and how those historic monuments/places came to be. My husband and I feel like we took an Italian history class in two days. Plus her English is excellent! More importantly she's truly passionate about her city and her love for it is imminent during her tours. We booked Dina for a walking tour of Florence on Monday 17 March 2025. She was an excellent guide, providing an overview of the city’s rich history, with insights into its medieval and modern art. We particularly appreciated the local knowledge; bringing us to places off the beaten tourist track. Dina gave us recommendations for lunch and dinner, which were the best meals we had all weekend. Dina was the best! We booked a Highlights and hidden gems tour in Florence for my husband and 2 kids 15/13. Dina was truly awesome. Communication was fantastic pre tour and during - she provided us with so many fun facts and interesting stories. (Ones you can’t google!) Our experience started with great communication from the time of our booking. Dina was very attentive in responding to ensure we received her responses quickly so we could make our decisions and purchases as some attractions and times sell out. She provided full details of what to expect during the process on the bookings. Fortunately we booked well enough in advance that we were able to secure the tickets and times we wanted. As the trip approached, her communication continued. She coordinated our meet up location based upon where our tour started and the day before our tour communicated wonderfully on where and how to locate her. This turned out not to even be a search as she spotted us and approached unhesitatingly. She is an absolutely wonderful host in her city and started us off at one of her favorite historical coffee bars. Her knowledge and passion for her city and country is evident in her presentations during her tours. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience spending the day with her. I have used with locals in other cities in Europe and they always provide great guides. Dina was no exception. I love the fact that you have contact to your guide prior to your trip. Dina responded to questions about restaurants choices even before we met. The Uffizi and the Accedemia are really busy. There are many group tours and tons of bodies. Dina's knowledge of what to look at and how to avoid crowds was very helpful. Having a personal touch to the tour is paramount.
