Family of five took a Valencia food tour with Cesar. We were difficult. Food allergies and some individual dislikes. The whole way he made us feel at ease, customizing the your and sharing his favorite versions of some of the region's famous foods. We did two tours with Maria: a general guide around the centre of Valencia taking in (amongst others): Central Market; Silk Exchange; the palace housing the ceramics museum as well as a number of churches. The second, foodie tour focussed mainly around the narrow streets of the northern central part of the city (Barrio del Carmen) taking in on the way the Cathedral and Basilica, Parroquia de San Nicolas and Torres de Serranos. We thoroughly enjoyed Maria’s description of the buildings as well as some of the city’s history. En: it’s nice to have a tour trough Venice with someone how knows the ins and outs of this city. Thanks to her my mom could be able to rest in between the walks. We have done the tapas experience tour with Velentín. He showed us around the great beautiful old city and told us about history, the typical things of the Valencia people but what we enjoyed most of all he let us TASTE València! It was a experience of tasting, with a begin and an end. He built it up from sweet to savoury and with the most tasteful drinks it was great! We asked him to talk in Spanish because we have Spanish lessons, but when he thought we didn't understand it, he explained more in English. It happend very naturally. Valentín is very friendly, calm and relaxed person to talk with. He gave us tips for the next day, so we went to the market, you have to see it! We enjoyed Valencia and learned a lot from Valentín. Our guide Maria was great and gave us a good introduction to a lot of features in the old town as well as being ready and able to answer questions on a number of topics about the city. The various food stops were all busy (proving just how good they were) but spaces had been pre-booked for us. Organisation of booking by the company was a bit hit and miss; the guide I booked left the company, Maria stepped in but the company seemed unaware and tried to cancel our tour? Maria was wonderful. Lovely person, on time, full of knowledge, very engaging. We were the only 4 people on the tour which is not the tours fault. We stopped at the first 2 places, which were excellent and we did go back to both later in the week. I have done over a dozen food tours, and I would say the downside of this one was the lack of food. We booked at 8pm as usually you eat so much, even in tapas that it is your evening meal, but not on this tour sadly. We couldn't go to the other 2 places due to horrendous rain so Maria had to improvise which wasn't her fault. I would say this is the most expensive food tour I have done for the least food eaten...but the guide was fabulous.Fab guide but needed more food

We were a group of 4, only 1 of which, had visited the city before. Our With Locals guide Maria, provided a perfect guide, showing us places of interest and great little tapas bars, that we wouldn't have found ourselves. For us the tour was informative, without being boring, and with the drinks and tapas, at perfect intervals, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you Maria! Although you may have got us addicted to Agua de Valencia. Great evening in Valencia old town
