It was a wonderful trip all around. The organisation, advance information, car and Omar‘s driving were excellent. What we enjoyed most was that Omar gave us a lot of information about the history, way of life and traditions! We learned so much and really appreciated Omar‘s openness and sense of humor. Brahim understood our groups expectations and limitations and ensured we got the absolute best out of our day. Traveling with Brahim to the Atlas Mountains was an unforgettable experience and a fascinating travel. We discovered the magic of the Berber culture and the beauty of the Atlas landscapes. Brahim has a wonderful human quality. As a Berber, he’s a perfect example of kindness, generosity, simplicity and joy of life. He constantly payed attention to our confort and wellbeing, and he adapted to our preferences completely. He speaks several languages including Spanish and is a great photographer! His colleague and driver was the perfect companion, we liked him very much too. We forgot our glasses in the car and Brahim came back to our hotel in person to give them to us. C'est Adil qui nous a accueillis sur la place Jamaa El Fna, nous avons fait une belle visite du centre de Marrakech. Il a été très prévenant et nous a fait bénéficié de sa large connaissance de l'histoire de la ville, ce qui a donné un intérêt tout particulier à cette visite guidée. Il nous a indiqué un très bon café lorsque nous avons voulu faire une pause, nous y avons dégusté un délicieux thé à la menthe et des pâtisseries. We did the street food tour with Lhoussaine. Our tour was adjusted instead of private it was in a group. We were informed about this in time. It was a great guide who really let us enjoy the tasty things in Marrakesh. Super friendly and nothing was too much. Even more information about other things you wanted to know. We did this tour upon arrival so that we immediately got a view of the immense city. I can only recommend it. Really a topper!!! If I could give him 11 out of 10 I would!!!! Our family (2 adults and 2 older teenagers) had a fantastic day out with Omar exploring the Ourika Valley. Omar was lovely company and a very safe driver, negotiating the winding and sometimes tricky mountain roads. Our guide walking up to the waterfall, through the brightly coloured cafes along the river, was also great. We got a feel for what Berber life was like, visiting the local market and one of the village homes for mint tea and a beautiful view. Highly recommended.Fantastic day in the Atlas Mountains

This tour with Lhou and Mohammed was amazing! These two guys love their city, know so much about it and passionate about showing it to its guests! Hassan was super !!!! Since we arrived late to the meeting he could’ve cut the tour short to keep the correct schedule but instead he took us with him for almost the all day, we had thé and lunch together, he explained us a lot and showed us the real part of the Medina. We originally had booked with a different tour guide but at the last minute were switched over to Elhoussaine. We didn’t think too much of it, but when we chatted briefly I had requested for recommendations on where to purchase certain items from the souks. What we did not expect is for the majority of the tour to be through the souks. Other than Koutoubia Minaret, we didn’t see any of the sights (Bahia Palace, Bab Agnaou, etc.). The rest of the tour was focused on the “back routes” of the souks. While appreciative of his taking us to a couple of shops to buy the items mentioned, that is not the tour we signed up for. Not what we expected

We had booked the tour "Djemaa El Fna Square Market Tour & Tastings" for the first evening on the day of arrival. It was simply fantastic with Lhoussaine and Kamal, who guided us through the many narrow alleyways around Djemaa El Fna with charm, wit and friendliness. 5 carefully selected restaurants and food stalls gave us a perfect insight into the culinary diversity of Moroccan cuisine. Lhoussaine and Kamal extended the tour by a whole hour because there was simply so much for us to see. Highly recommended! Thank you both for a wonderful evening! Highly recommended!

We had the best day with Elhoussaine! He showed us so many beautiful places and gave us in-depth context as to their history and place within Moroccan culture. Having him take us through the Bahia palace was a huge highlight. Had we taken ourselves through we wouldn’t have had the background knowledge he had and likely missed a lot of what makes it such an interesting place. Omar was an interesting and informative guide, who showed us parts of the Medina that we wouldn't have found, and gave us the confidence to return and explore by ourselves. However, he rushed us through the souks and seemed frustrated when we stopped to take in the sights and atmosphere. We were 20 minutes late meeting him due to our bus being late, but I had forewarned him that this may happen. His food choices were not the best for us sadly. Firstly we had a delicious savoury msemmen and herbal tea cooked by a wonderful lady, but the main five tastes at the next venue were greasy, cold and totally unappetising. We were then rushed on to share a mere six tiny sweet treats between four of us. We declined the soup offer after that☹️ The herbalist was good fun and entertaining, so all was not lost!memorable experience

Sadly our guide who I had chosen based on reviews, didn't show. We had an enthusiastic guy but apart from a stop at a bakery which felt interesting and special, there was not much en route that you couldn't have seen from a taxi. To have much more information about the city, its people etc. would have made this tour really great as well as stopping to see things you would not see ordinarily. Could be better

Our experience with Omar was just perfect for what we were looking for at that point of our trip. He is very relaxed and chill and from the first 5 minutes he makes you feel like you know him for a long time. Speaks perfect English and it is clear that he knows Marrakech like the back of his hand. This wasn’t just a fixed tour that he talked and we followed. He listened to what we wanted and was very flexible with the schedule and tour, because it was our first day at the city and we just wanted to get a general feeling of it. Also, he was very endearing and playful with our to young kids, which made the whole experience very relaxing and easy. Our only regret was that we did not book him for an extra tour regarding food tasting, but we will do that the next time we visit his beautiful city. Hassan was an incredible and friendly guide. After a few minutes we already left the touristy parts and felt like we entered a different world - one where only locals have access to. And with Hassan we always felt very safe. We visited shops, artisan studios and productions and were hesitant to buy - but were never pressured this was really important for us. After the tour has ended and we went alone on our way home, we walked through the big market and were surprised to spot all the fakes they explained to us on the tour. So if you want to buy real stuff I'd say it's best to go with a local guide directly to the studios and get the real things for the same, if not lower price! An experience well worth!

We were 2 couples and we booked Hassan for our first day in Marrakech. We are SO glad we did. It was SO interesting, and a great intro to what can be an overwhelming city. He promised that we would see the "secrets" of Marrakech and he did not lie. We truly saw neighbourhoods and sights that most tourists would never see. I think it was one of those tours that you enjoy at the time, but appreciate even more when you explore the city on your own after.... you look back and really "get" what you saw! My only criticism, if I had to make one, is that we were not expecting the shopping stops - carpets, shoes, spices, etc. But as the week progressed, we noticed that most walking tours in the Medina have this component, so it is what it is. In the end, it was such a positive experience - Hassan was so animated and so enthusiastic about his city! If we'd had more time, we probably would have booked a second tour with him to explore another component of Marrakech.Wonderful introduction to the city!

We had a wonderfull trip with the brother of Brahim, Omar. Omar replaced Brahim because Brahim had family issues. Omar shows us a lot of local live, takes us to the local market and shares his Berber knowlodge. The mountain guide Moustafa did also a great job and we had a lunch at his family house! My family and I had a wonderful walking tour with Omar. Earlier this year, my mother passed away, and during our tour, Omar kindly helped me find someone to fix one of her belts — a gesture that meant a lot. He also took us to some hidden gems in the Medina that we would have never found on our own. I know that tour guides sometimes receive commissions from the places they take you to, but the good news is that the experience never felt pushy. Everyone we met was welcoming, and we genuinely enjoyed the stops along the way. Omar also helped us organize a driver for a day trip outside of Marrakech, which made our travels even smoother. We were a group of 4 Adults, a 8 year old and a 3 year old and he was really patient with all the requests for stops, shopping, snack breaks etc. Overall a great tour and a really lovely guide! Hassan was everything we could have hoped for during our visit to Marrakesh. We found him last minute after our original guide didn’t show up — and it turned out to be a true blessing in disguise. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hassan introduced us to the authentic side of the old Medina, where locals shop, eat, and live. The food, the local shops, and the history he shared with us were incredible. He’s extremely knowledgeable about Marrakesh’s history and answered all of our many questions.
