Our group of 4 booked a 5 hour tour with Nick We had an absolutely great experience. Nick did a wonderful job at showcasing his home town and having an English born father, Nick's English is very fluent. We mat on the Buda side, it was a warm day and we walked at a comfortable pace making two stops on our journey. We traveled on the underground train, which we would never done on our own and after the tour managed to do a return journey on our own We loved the Langos and Nick made recommendations for places to eat and traditional Hungarian dishes to try Highly recommend Nick'and recommend this tour to get the most of your stay in Budapest5 hour city tour

We had a five hour tour with Nick, starting in the Castle district in Buda, finishing in Heroes Square on the Pest side. Nick was very personable, spoke perfect English and provided exactly what we hoped to achieve from the tour. His knowledge is amazing and we learned so much about this beautiful city, the country as a whole, its history, cultures and traditions. Nick shared some details of the country’s more unsavoury history which we thought was very honest of him. Nicholas is a great guide! He took my grumpy 12 year old son and got him to enjoy learning about Hungarian history. He included funny anecdotes as well as important dates while showing us some beautiful sites. Even got our son to ride the subway! Thank you very much Nick, we will be back! You missed one of the best bits after the tour ended, where the boys could not remember where they parked the car for an hour. Nicholas met us at the train station and then we used public transport and walking to see the highlights of Budapest. Although a Budapest resident his entire life, Nicholas speaks flawless English due to having an English father. Nicholas not only shows the top spots but also included a visit to the last remaining part of the Jewish Ghetto from WW2. He also introduced us to real Hungarian food. A top notch guide. Andras took us on an interesting tour that showed contrasts of the old and newer more popular parts of Budapest. He is so knowledgeable and really fitted the experience around what our interests were. We loved it and learned lots about the country and its people. Budapest is busy with traffic but we felt safe following Andras along the roads and cycle paths. We’re all in our fifties and haven’t cycled for years but it’s made us keen to start cycling again! When we failed to show up on time for our tour, Nick called to find out where we were. I had the time wrong and we discussed options to meet up and make the most of our tour. He made sure we saw the most important places to us and yet didn’t make us feel rushed or like we missed anything, Nick was very knowledgeable, but also told us stories that we will remember instead of just dates and facts! He also gave us help with restaurants and river boats. It’s no wonder Nick has so many top ratings. We’d definitely recommend touring with him. Nick was so pleaso and infirmative!!

My wife and I completed the Full Coverage Walking Tour with Nick. Nick is incredibly intelligent, he is passionate about the Hungarian history and culture as well as the city of Budapest. We chose the 5 hour Budapest City Tour and were able to do it the afternoon of our arrival in the city. It was a great introduction and overview of what we would be experiencing during our time in Budapest. Andras provided great insight and context about the City, the country and the region. We visited all the highlights, sampled local snacks and jumped on public transit. It was a fantastic experience. Andras stepped in after our previous guide was forced to cancel and his quick response to questions and updates were very reassuring, as this was our first "With Locals" tour.
