Brendan was an incredible guide for our first night in Barcelona. It was a great way to see the city first hand through food, history and a local person to the area. Brendan was so knowledgeable about the traditions, local cuisine, and culture of the city. We visited 4 places that were quite unique to one another and were given tastes of both food and beverage that we had never had. He also worked with us when we had to push our reservation back due to travel delays. He stayed in communication, not only that day, but throughout our visit. He gave great recommendations for the rest of our trip and was all around a nice and fun guy to spend the evening with. He really tailored the experience to what we were interested in when it came to the history and cultural information. While on our cruise, we realized we had 3.5 hours after we disembarked in Barcelona before we needed to check in for our flight. After an awesome Barcelona pre-cruise food tour with Vicky, we decided we wanted her to pick us up at the Cruise Port, see some more of Barcelona and then drop us off at the airport. Vicky developed an itinerary with the cost, emailed it to me for approval and then she and the driver picked us up at the Cruise Port. Another awesome tour of a wonderful city with a rich history, culture and food. We stopped and toured around the Olympic Village and walked along the beach. We stopped at a noted Paella restaurant for a very tasteful lunch. After taking a post lunch walk and visiting two Chocolate stores, it was time to head to the airport. Highly recommend that you engage Vicky in any tour that she leads! She has become family and we can’t wait to visit Barcelona again to have her show us more highlights. We were very excited to spend the afternoon with a Barcelona Local, someone who could share history, architecture, take us down windy streets and share unique and local culinary culture. Bianca did all of that and more! Upon meeting us she wanted to know more about who we are and our interests and she then matched up our tour with all the things we wanted to learn about that were of interest to us. Our original tour guide canceled on us but Octavio jumped right in and saved the day! We only had a few hours in Barcelona and wanted to see as much as we could. Octavio showed us so many sites and gave us history lessons that included a wide knowledge of architecture styles of buildings/homes and monuments/art pieces. He showed us some of his favorite things as well. The churros with chocolate dipping sauce were sooo good! We ended it all with a glass of champagne and a really good restaurant recommendation. We toured Barcelona with Octavio in July ‘25. We did a 3 hour walking tour and it was great. He took us beyond the main sites and provided great insight and explanations. We had two teenage boys and the brief was to keep it high energy and entertaining. Octavio did this - interesting stories, food markets and a detour to the best Churros in town! He left us with a heap of restaurant, bar and ice cream recommendations, so we benefitted from his guiding for several days thereafter. My entire family wants to say a big “Thank You” to Bianca for being such an outstanding guide during our recent visit to Barcelona. After the airline unexpectedly cancelled our arrival flight, we arrived in town a day late and a bit stressed because we missed our originally booked 10 Tastings tour with another guide. After seeing that Bianca was available, the best decision we made was to book a three hour tour with her of the Gothic quarter. She is an excellent communicator who captured the attention of our teens by sharing her personal stories and excitement for the city. Our youngest child has some special challenges, and without us having time to discuss the situation with her beforehand, Bianca intuitively understood how to best navigate the situation in a way that worked for every person in our group. Bianca was also able to include some food tastings when making our way between sites, which made it possible for us to not miss out on some fun eats along with the sight seeing. Bianca’s compassion and knowledge as a local were a winning combination that really saved the day and made our trip to Barcelona a true adventure. I would not hesitate to recommend Bianca for a booking. She is a top-level professional with a heart who made our visit to Barcelona a positive experience that we will not soon forget!Bianca is the Best!

We have done With Locals walking food tours in 3 cities now! Lisbon, Rome & most recently Barcelona. I am trying to stay open minded, but this food tour paled in comparison to the others. Part of it was that it was an extremely hot day, so the weather was prohibitive but all in all the tastings were very lack luster. We went through the Bouqueria Market on Las Ramblas which was interesting but would have been very easy to navigate without a guide. Then she took us to a local sit-down place for 2 tastings, we got a glass or horchata at another place and that was that. We paid $450 euros and although I realized that most of what you are paying for is the guide. The value of this was not really there!!!!Disappointing Food Tour

My girlfriend and I had a great dancingnight with Gonzalo and his wife. They took us to a dancing place in Gracia. We had our first lesson in bachata and salsa with a couple of other people in the bar. We learned the first basics of bachata, also as a couple. Contact with Gonzalo and Rebecca was easy and nice. We loved the walking food tour with our guide. We were a family of 4, with an 11-year-old child. She made it fun and interesting for all of us. We learned about the history of Barcelona and saw some interesting things along the way to the restaurants, like a folk festival with dancing and a band, and a parade as well. The tapas we got to pick out at the restaurant were enough to count as a meal. The dessert we had at the restaurant next door was heavenly!Great food tour in Barcelona!
