Lovely evening walking around the area near Sathorn Pier. Araya was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable about the area and its history as well as the food and taking you to the places she likes to eat. The duck was amazing, the drunken noodles spicy and tasty; I would never have thought of trying congee but so glad I did. Thoroughly recommended.Great Evening, Great Food

We even went back to some of the spots when we returned to Bangkok two weeks later. Can highly recommend Sudarat as a guide as she gives you enough information about the food and area and she’s very friendly. To the point: Apicha is a super nice guy, interesting stories/conversationalist, knows His food and beverages (gives great recs), and cares about your experience. I just kicked back and relaxed while he showed me around. We ate, drank, and had a few laughs. Time well spent. For context: I have been lucky to travel all over the world. As a US child spending summers abroad with foreign grandparents, as a young person with a backpack, as an expat employee, and more recently as part of my career. So I’ve had almost every type of trip, tour guide, and independent traveler experience to be had. But until last week I had never been to Bangkok. And unfortunately my time was limited until my last evening. That said, I would hire him no matter what type of time / trip I was on (relaxed vacation or rushed) and trust him to manage the vibe. In a few hours we saw some of the city by Tuk Tuk, had some laughs eating bugs with other tourists met along the way, had some amazing food at unexpected places one, and had some more laughs with some local bartenders at a few good spots.Great intro to bangkok

We took a 3 hour, 5 tastings food tour and Jojo is everything you would want in a tour guide! She was very accommodating to our limited time schedule (even picked us up in our hotel), selected places and food items that matched our dietary needs and gave us the opportunity to try things we would not have known to eat on our own. We went to Chinatown and experienced local Thai and Chinese influenced street foods, beverages and sweets. We walked through many small neighborhoods and she explained the history and culture. Apicha took us on a food tasting tour of the Chinatown market and was an excellent guide! He not only guided us to safe vendors, he also explained a lot about the Thai culture. We finished with a dinner in a very local restaurant which was amazing and definitely not something we could have found on our own. I only wish I had a bigger stomach!!Amazing night!

Jojo was absolutely wonderful! Very knowledgeable, so thoughtful and a brilliant person. We had such a fantastic food walking tour around Bangkok. We were game for anything and she took us on a fabulous journey, we were blown away. She’s also very cool and it was so fun hanging out and getting to know her. This tour was much more than a street food tour. I was expecting tasting the foods available in the many larfe street markets of Bangkok. Araya took us to local family owned restaurants and local markets. We tried a large variety of food we had never had, all of them delicious. Araya was a wonderful guide. We were a bit late because of traffic and she didn’t give us a hard time over it, as others might have. She brought us to plenty of different restaurants and food stalls while giving us local history facts. She also gave the leftover food we didn’t want to homeless folks nearby. Araya is an incredibly sweet person and a great embodiment of the ‘Land of Smiles.’ 10/10 experience, would highly recommend. Wonderful!

I had a wonderful experience with Kim. He was personable and you could tell he had trusting relationships with the vendors he worked with. The experience was more than just about food but of history and culture. We walked, took the local bus and a tuk-tuk to go enjoy different flavors and drink around the area. Not only did he talk about the history of the foods but also the historical significance of the locations of the vendors. As a single female client, he made me feel safe and welcomed. My mixed family of six (4 adults and 2 teens) absolutely loved this experience! Nok was phenomenal- kind, curteous, knowledgeable and funny. Prior to the tour, her communication was impeccable. She took us to some fabulous street food carts and local restaurants we would have never tried. And of course the food was delicious! We had limited time in Bangkok and JoJo was able to fit us into her schedule on the weekend. She was very flexible with our food preferences and even took us to the markets and a temple when we were getting too full of food. De ontmoeting bij het BTS station ging makkelijk en vandaar uit op een hele leuke manier inzicht gekregen in de achtergrond van een aantal Thaise gerechten. Alles vers en bij de stalletjes en overdekte markt bereid. Araya weet veel en kan het ook goed uitleggen in perfect Engels (of Frans voor de geïnteresseerden). Je krijgt van verschillende stalletjes te proeven en bij de laatste konden we niet eens alles op, want er was onderweg ook al een verse mango - sticky rice desert gekocht. Voor de wandeling en het proeven wordt ruim de tijd genomen, totale afstand is niet groot, allemaal in de nabijheid van het BTS station waar we afgesproken hadden. Het restant dat over was werd netjes verpakt. Dir werd naar één van de plaatsen gebracht waar voedsel uitgedeeld wordt aan de armste mensen van Bangkok, beetje dubbel maar op deze manier in ieder geval geen voedselverspilling/ vernietiging zoals in Nederland.
