We got on very well with him and the coordination in advance was very good and we got some tips for our trip. While on our cruise, we realized we had 3.5 hours after we disembarked in Barcelona before we needed to check in for our flight. After an awesome Barcelona pre-cruise food tour with Vicky, we decided we wanted her to pick us up at the Cruise Port, see some more of Barcelona and then drop us off at the airport. Vicky developed an itinerary with the cost, emailed it to me for approval and then she and the driver picked us up at the Cruise Port. Another awesome tour of a wonderful city with a rich history, culture and food. We stopped and toured around the Olympic Village and walked along the beach. We stopped at a noted Paella restaurant for a very tasteful lunch. After taking a post lunch walk and visiting two Chocolate stores, it was time to head to the airport. Highly recommend that you engage Vicky in any tour that she leads! She has become family and we can’t wait to visit Barcelona again to have her show us more highlights. Our original tour guide canceled on us but Octavio jumped right in and saved the day! We only had a few hours in Barcelona and wanted to see as much as we could. Octavio showed us so many sites and gave us history lessons that included a wide knowledge of architecture styles of buildings/homes and monuments/art pieces. He showed us some of his favorite things as well. The churros with chocolate dipping sauce were sooo good! We ended it all with a glass of champagne and a really good restaurant recommendation. We toured Barcelona with Octavio in July ‘25. We did a 3 hour walking tour and it was great. He took us beyond the main sites and provided great insight and explanations. We had two teenage boys and the brief was to keep it high energy and entertaining. Octavio did this - interesting stories, food markets and a detour to the best Churros in town! He left us with a heap of restaurant, bar and ice cream recommendations, so we benefitted from his guiding for several days thereafter. We had an absolutely incredible experience touring Barcelona, thanks to our amazing guide Moisés. From start to finish, he was the perfect combination of knowledgeable, patient, and kind. What truly set this tour apart was his deep understanding of Barcelona’s rich architectural and cultural history. While we were initially excited to learn about Gaudí, our guide went above and beyond by introducing us to other key figures in Catalan Modernism, including Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch. He gave us a deeper appreciation for the city’s architecture and helped us see Barcelona in a completely new light. Walking through the streets with him, we discovered hidden details and stories we completely missed on our own. His insights made the city come alive in ways we never expected. The highlight, of course, was the Sagrada Família — we were absolutely blown away not just by the grandeur of the building, but by the depth of knowledge he shared about the symbolism, structure, and design of its exterior. This tour was easily one of the most enriching and memorable parts of our trip. We left with a newfound appreciation for Barcelona and its incredible history. We loved the walking food tour with our guide. We were a family of 4, with an 11-year-old child. She made it fun and interesting for all of us. We learned about the history of Barcelona and saw some interesting things along the way to the restaurants, like a folk festival with dancing and a band, and a parade as well. The tapas we got to pick out at the restaurant were enough to count as a meal. The dessert we had at the restaurant next door was heavenly!Great food tour in Barcelona!

Octavio was very knowledgeable about the Barcelona, as well as the history of the city and Catalan culture. He also gave us several recommendations for the remainder of our trip -- late-night spots for drinks, brunch and cafe recs, and things to do in Tossa de Mar (where we were headed next). Our group of 4 senior women had a most wonderful tapas experience with Alan . We went wine tasting and to Montserrat with Elvira. It was a really cold day, but I can't blame that on Elvira. Despite the cold we had a lovely day. Good wine and interesting conversation with both Elvira and the young owner of the winery. The monastery was also nice, and I think we will come back on a warmer day. Elvira knows a lot and shares her knowledge in an inviting way as she is also clearly interested in what we said. Very interesting to hear about the history of Catalonia. The car was not really suited for elderly people After the trip Elvira sent suggestions for other excursions and recommendations for restaurants. Can only recommend Elvira

We did the 10 tastings of Barcelona with Elvira. As a family of four ( 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 13), we had very different preferences for food. She adjusted quickly and made sure we had a great tour. As it was our first day in Barcelona, and we were very jet-lagged, we were not as hungry as we should have been for such a tour, so she quickly pivoted and included some walking and historic tour of the City. She was very knowledgeable. She was very generous with her time, and made sure everyone had a good time. I highly recommend!Super flexible and great with kids!
