Our family of four had lots of fun with Sandy on the pastry tour. We were in Vienna just for the weekend and this was a great way to get a little history, try some well known pastries and experience a few of the coffeehouses. Sandy is lovely and knowledgeable about the city and ensured that we tried a wide variety of treats. We learned about some of the culture and the old and newer traditions in the city on our walk through the old town. Huge thank you and we hope to stay in touch. Great pastry tour with Sandy!

I give the tour a 10 out of 10! My husband and I were in Vienna and had a private pastry tour with Sandy. We had a wonderful experience. Sandy took us to places that only a local would know. We had some of the most delicious cakes and tortes topped off by an ice cream dumpling. Sandy was very knowledgeable about the history of Vienna, as well as the different foods we were having. She was very friendly, easy to talk to and engaging. We immediately felt like we were speaking to an old friend. We highly recommend both the tour and Sandy!Wonderful experience!

Susanne and I met in the freezing cold but the information and laughs that we shared made the temperature bearable. Susanne has a huge amount of knowledge that she shares with ease. Sandie was a very friendly and enthusiastic tour guide, very engaging with my daughter as well. We hit the highlights of Viennese cuisine and it felt like spending some time with a new friend. The only thing I would say could be improved based on other food tours we've taken is to get a bit more cultural and historical background. Susanne war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Lokale gezeigt und interessante Facts zu den Orten oder Wien erzählt. Die ersten beiden Stops waren auch super. Allerdings haben wir dann beim zweiten Stop recht lange gebraucht, sodass wir nach hinten raus zu wenig Zeit hatten, um noch etwas anständiges zu essen. Der dritte Stop war dann in einem Pralinenladen und der letzte ein Café zum Bier trinken. Es war also relativ wenig Essen bei der Tour und das letzte Café wirkte eher zufällig gewählt. Laut Beschreibung hätte es 6x Essen/Trinken geben sollen. Wir sind aber somit nur auf 4 Stops gekommen. Wir kennen das so anders von anderen Foodtouren, vor allem für diesen Preis.Gut, aber zu wenig Foodstops

Claudia is very personable and very knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and culture of Vienna. She led us through the highlights of the city and hidden areas for walking and traversing the town that only locals would know. She took us to a wonderful cafe off the beaten path and explained coffee culture in Vienna. She loves her town of Vienna and is enthusiastic about sharing her experiences in the city. A really great experience! Sandie can tell you a lot about Vienna as well as travelling to many other places. In terms of food, there is plenty to eat! It is a good mix of savory and sweet Austrian dishes. It is also a good introduction to the city's center -- this is a great thing to do on the first day of a stay in Vienna, as it will give you a good sense of both the city and the cuisine. Great introduction to Viennese cusine.

Selin gave us a lovely mixture of history and food tastings that introduced us to Vienna beautifully. Our meeting point was not clear, however, so it was frustrating to be waiting for over half an hour in different places around the cathedral, both too worried about moving to look for each other! I suggest giving better instructions or even posting a photo of where to meet, telling clients what you will be wearing..the crowds at the Cathedral made it difficult! We were glad Selin didn't give up on us when our phones were not working and we eventually connected via email. A great tour, very personable and some great food! Laye start, but a good tour.

Sandie is a wonderful vivacious Guide. She was knowledgeable & engaging. She picked me up at my hotel & as we walked she explained the history & significance of the buildings & monuments. Her tour was perfectly pitched for a first time visitor. My food experience was amazing. I so enjoyed my sandwiches @ Trezesniewski. We next went to Cafe Engländer where I enjoyed the best Vienna Schnizel & potato salad - the dressing was delicious. I enjoyed my first glass of Viennese wine - similar to Riesling. Desert was at Cafe Diglas & even though I was fit to burst I managed to enjoy the most delicious Apple Strudel Sandie was generous with her time & my tour ran until its natural conclusion. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sandie as a Guide. By the time we parted I felt I was saying goodbye to a friend. The Time Flew

We only had one day in Vienna and really felt Claudia-Marie was the best fit for us. She worked around her schedule so we could have a 3-hour city tour with her. She was so knowledgeable, but also mixed in a lot of stories with the facts which made it so much more pleasurable and memorable. Even though it was a city tour, we stopped in a famous place and got a pastry and had an opportunity to sit and get out of the cold as well as an amazing wine bar with a cellar! Claudia-Marie helped us look for unique gifts as we walked as well. With her archeology background, she was able to add another dimension to the history and architecture. We went with Sandie on a Vienna walking food tour. We only had one day in Vienna and the night before arriving I reached out to see if we could squeeze in a tour with her. Our first stop was a small winery run by her friend Phillip, who welcomed us with a fascinating tour of his vineyard. His insights into the winemaking process, paired with a tasting of his wines, set a high bar for the day. Next, we visited another winery, this one led by one of the few female winemakers in the region—a friend of Phillip’s. I honestly do not have the ability to do justice to the truly amazing experience my wife and I had with Anita in Vienna this morning and afternoon. From the very brief introduction we gave about ourselves, she was immediately able to gauge our preferences and tailored her suggestions accordingly. We had a fantastic time with Anita! She showed us around town during our foodtour. We learned a lot about Vienna and Vienna’s history while enjoying extraordinairy local (vegetarian) food at the best local places. Our teenagers also enjoyed the tour very much. The sweets Anita got us to taste at home were very much appreciated. She even send us a few recipes from local dishes. Anita was kind, very helpful and always smiling. We had a lovely non-strenuous bike tour around Vienna with Sandy. She is very knowledgeable and shared a lot of local history. One improvement may be to keep things moving. Sandy is a very warm and friendly guide. We spent an enjoyable day walking the streets of Vienna looking at buildings of interest and getting a feeling for Vienna. Although we would have liked more factual and detailed information about the architecture and history around what we saw. As a comment on the organisation, we were surprised to have to buy tickets for building entry or for the train on top of the tour price. It is better to be included in the price. 10/10 for Anita, who looked after our group incredibly well, with Viennese treats in her backpack, local history and current affairs at her fingertips, and plenty of images on file to bring it all to life for us.
