Artty was a great guide for a quick visit during my layover in Bangkok. He is a very good story teller and very knowledgeable. He showed me two of the important temples, walked around "chinatown", and also brought to a market to try some Thai food. It was a great afternoon exploring Bangkok instead of staying at the airport. Artty also arranged for a shuttle driver to pick us up and then drive me back to the airport well in time for my flight. Definitely recommend Artty for a layover tour. Artty was the perfect guide and this tour was the perfect thing to do on our layover. We saw so many incredible temples and interesting parts of the city, and within just a few hours Artty taught us so much about Thai culture and religion. The car was comfortable and had a good AC, and we constantly got fresh cold water bottles, which was very much needed due to the heat and humidity.Great time

Artty and his driver Lou were great. They picked us up from the airport and drove us around to check out some temples and markets. We had a layover at an odd time but Artty made it work for us anyway. They brought us to eat at a delicious local spot when we got hungry. They were very kind and funny. 100% would recommend them for anyone wanting a knowledge guide. Amazing time with Artty!

My husband and I flew into Bangkok for a day trip. Artty was already at the airport ready to pick us up and get the excursion going. We had a set itinerary however we were not expecting to get the extensive background and information regarding every stop we went to. Being a private tour we had the luxury of rearranging stops and adding stops too which were a delightful bonus. Artty was very witty, you can feel his love and pride for his culture and city, and it felt like we were visiting a friend and he taking us around town. We, a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids, truly enjoyed our tour with Artty. Artty adjusted the itinerary according to our time and interest. We had an about 10hrs stopover in Bangkok, Artty picked us up at the airport, showed us a temple, the sunset over the Palace, China Town and even fit in a great dinner before delivering us back to the airport. My girlfriend and I had 8 hours to spend in Bangkok between flights, and we're so glad we took the guided tour with Artty. Artty is an amazing and energetic story teller. He is also very flexible in terms of the itinerary - adjusting to where I want to do and where i need to go (last minute). Booking this layover tour with him just before our return flight is the best decision I have made - i dont think we would have appreciated the temples, the country’s history, without Artty behind all of it. We sat down over lunch as well which was such a great idea to know more about what locals eat and do day to day. Going around in our own car then straight to the airport is a plus. I was in Bangkok for 2.5 days for business, it was my first visit in Thailand and my flight was Saturday at 3PM. Thursday night I reached Artty who reply quickly. Saturday at 8:15 Artty was in the lobby of my hotel and had a car an a driver waiting or us and we tour the city until 1 PM before having the driver dropping me at the airport. The tour was a mixed of touristy places and local temples and markets. Artty spent time explaining local culture. A wonderful tour.Great express tour of Bangkok

We spent the afternoon with Artty and visited some beautiful temples and a great market. If you want to really learn about the city taking this tour is a great way to ease into a new place. I has a layover in Bangkok on the way to London, Artty responded immediately, arranged everything instantly and was brilliant in every facet. Met me at the airport, we shared breakfast (traditional street food) before the first temple opened and the day just got better. Overall liked the day out thanks, showing me around, Artty was friendly. It did seem a bit monologuey/lecturey at times, rushed-paced, dragging me around. I think a couple of times I attempted to start more of a chat, eg. comparison to when I visited the Vatican. I'm kind of lapsed religiously, but saw some similarly to the Vatican, reminders of it. Would've liked a bit more variety with the temples, perhaps also parks and other things in the area. I liked sitting down feeding the turtles at the end the most. Also Artty walked off during lunch without explanation which seemed odd/ bit rude. A few years ago I did a food tour with a younger guy Chris I think around that area/ Chinatown. That was a bit more casual-paced /delivery with some cultural/ local info. Still interesting 5 hours, see around the place.liked the day out, Artty friendly overall

We had a 5 hour tour with Artty at the end of March. Artty was very nice, extremely informative and entertaining and spoke great English. The time of day was good as it had cooled down but we still had time to visit a couple of temples without the crowds. We also visited the flower market and Chinatown for a snack and a beer. Initially I thought the tour was as a bit expensive but we had a car and separate driver for the 5 hours who picked us up and dropped us off at the various stops along the route.8 hour evening layover in Bangkok

Artty was at BKK airport when we arrived and the van drove up in a few minutes. We were taken to the Royal Palace and on the way Artty gave us some preliminary info and answered questions. Then we spent a couple hours at the palace with Artty guiding us and telling lots of interesting details. Then lunch like a local near the pier followed by a boat ride and then onto our hotel where our luggage was already waiting. BKK pick up day trip with local guide

I did a 4 hour layover tour of Bangkok with Artty and it was absolutely amazing. Artty is very knowledgeable, funny, super reliable and full of energy. he was able to show me quite a lot of places in just 4 hours of layover. he even quickly took account of my special dietary needs and took me to places that suit. Thanks to our guide Artty we had a terrific tour of the Place, flower market and his home town. Capped off by the best local food lunch and hip coffee house- not least to mention his tolerance for our tired and nano seconded brained teens and he has a whitty sense of humour to boot. I had a 10+ hour layover in Bangkok that I was dreading. I discovered that I could easily leave the airport (some countries eligible for visa waiver). Artty and his driver made it super easy and fun! They were in contact with me in advance to set up an itinerary, were able to work out a plan B when one place ended up inaccessible, and were fun to be around! They promptly met me at the airport in a really nice car, took care of my bags, and took me to the best spots around some of the temples. Artty could explain everything and made sure I saw some of the most interesting things you would never see as a regular tourist on your own. We also fit in some shopping and a delicious food tour of Chinatown. Had a great time! Best layover ever!Great escape from the airport

My boyfriend and I had an awkward 12 hour layover in Bangkok, and I am so glad I found this company and Artty's profile. We would have gone crazy spending all that time in the airport. He gave us the best taste of Bangkok, exactly what we were looking for. We toured 2 wats and learned all about their history and significance, walked through China town during the day time to witness the shopping, went to a low key roof top bar to see the sunset where he pointed out some of the well known buildings like "the hangover" bar and the tallest building in Bangkok that looks like it's made of legos. We finished up back in China town to the experience the night food scene. Artty was a fantastic, high energy, really friend guy who was immensely helpful finding me gluten free food to try. Beware- he LOVES to take your photo!! Haha we laughed about that but he is so eager to help you document your experience. We learned so much in a such a quick amount of time. The driver was efficient getting us around town, the car was top notch, AC, leather seats etc, and we were provided several cold water bottles throughout the tour. We didn't have to pay to store our luggage at the airport, either. Highly recommend Artty and Withlocals tours! Thank you, again, Artty! Artty is the best tour guide!

Wir buchten die Layover-Tour mit Arrty und konnten das Programm hervorragend an unsere Bedürfnisse anpassen. Wir kamen mit dem Kreuzfahrer an und ein Transfer wurde uns auch noch organisiert. We arrived with the cruise ship, so he also had to arrange a transfer from harbour to city, which worked out great. The contact with Arrty was very friendly and fast. Unfortunately one or two days before the trip, he had to refuse because of health problems. He immediately suggested his friend Tony to do the trip with us. Artty took us on a short tour while we had a 12 hour layover in Bangkok on our journey home. Despite my not answering his emails (we were travelling Europe at the time) he was waiting for us at the spot arranged prior to leaving Australia even though out plane had been delayed by 30min. You can't get more reliable than that! Artty was very keen to show us his city and did a fantastic job putting together a tour tailored to our interests. He was full of information about the history and significance of the various places we went to and was very happy to answer our questions and put up with me holding him up while I took that last perfect photo. The vehicle that we travelled in was perfect. Very comfortable, air conditioned and heaven after sitting on the plane for a long 11hr flight. The driver was also excellent. Very patient in the traffic and knew exactly what to do when we hit that peak hour traffic, getting us pack to the airport in plenty of time to catch our plane for the second leg. We had 9 hours in between flights and decided to see a bit of Bangkok with the time. Artty was spot on with his communication and picked us up exactly as planned. Weather was not kind to us but Artty was inventive with where he took us and we were able to squeeze in a lovely meal on a rooftop overlooking the river and a night time tour around Wat Pho which was stunning. We were returned safely in time for our flight. Artty is a fully qualified, experienced and knowledgeable guide who has a passion for Bangkok. Artty’s communication before our tour was great. He arrived early to collect us and the driver used for our private tour was a safe and careful driver. We have visited different places for 3 days. A foodtour, city tour, markets, Kanchanaburi and Ayuttaya. His English is very good and he reslly knows the places. We did a city tour and he told us many things about the temple, history etc. Very interesting! Also the visits to Kanchanaburi and Ayuttaya we learned a lot about the culture, history and traditions. More than with any other guide (and we book a lot via this platform). He was kind, the long daytrips felt very luxury with enough water, some snacks and cold towels. We were a bit late for the foodtour the first day because we had to go by public transport and did'nt know how this worked. So maybe it was better to start from our hotel. This is the only thing that could be improved. But he waited and we had some nice food. Sometimes a bit in a rush, but you could ask to wait a bit. He was always on time and patiently waiting for us. He made nice photos so we have a lot of nice memories. We would definitely recommend him as your guide! We have had amazing days!

I had such a great time with Attry on his urban jungle tour. It really is off the beaten path and brought me into areas I would have never stumbled upon myself otherwise. Many picture worthy spots that also show the true lifestyle of locals aside from all of the flashy touristy areas. Attry is patient, very knowledgeable about his city and fun to go exploring with.
