Yorgos was a fantastic guide who took us through the art filled streets of Athens. The tour is not only about art but history, culture and daily life of Atheneans. Highly recommended! Nikolas was a fair tour guide. His knowledge was very good and his route was interesting. However my constructive comments are that after several discussions about the heat and sun, previous to the walk and during the walk, it wasn’t until I made it very clear that we need to stand in the shade during explanations, without further debate. He also walked very very very slowly at the beginning, reprimanding us to stay with him always, even though his pace was slow. And at nearing the last 25% telling us to pick up the pace or we won’t finish in time. As mentioned his knowledge was good but his delivery lacked any sense of humor and was a bit dry. Lastly, though also requested by texts, a restaurant for 10 of us, he did not disclose the location until the end of the tour. It was a 25 minute uber ride out of the centre, as he said it would not be touristy. We however had transportation to catch back in town after lunch (another 25 minute cab back in) and added 50 minute to our hotels for pick up. There just seemed to be a lack of maturity on understanding our needs. I am sure he will improve.Ok, could improve

A delicant mixture of history, architecture, culture and local food, all woven together by Yorgos astounding ability to tell stories. My little brother, not the type to be fascinated with anything but football was impressed by how much he enjoyed the tour. After the tour we all had a feeling we had gotten to know the city through a perspective that other tourists around us were not able to. Nikolas was a wonderful guide who was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The route there was stunning, and the stop at The beach was a great time. The views at the temple are breathtaking. Niko was very flexible to accommodate our unique timing and needs. He had great stories and history to share. We visited a local gem of a cover beach. He did not accompany us to the temple so in that way he was more of a driver than tour guide. We had a lovely meal at a local taberna. Thanks Niko! Fun, local experience!

Nikolas was a bright spot on our last day in Athens. He is a skilled driver and as a Greek native gave us tips on the islands he recommends while in our way to the vineyard. The vineyard tour and tasting was a casual laid back oasis. Nikolas also went above and beyond by dropping us at the airport which was nearby. I highly recommend with locals for day tours. We did the 5 hour walking tour of Athens with Nico. It was a great tour, he was highly knowledgeable and he delivered the information in a fun, entertaining way. We enjoyed spending time with him as much as the tour itself. His English was excellent and he had no problem understanding our belfast accent. There were 9 of us with Yorgos. Some have never done this type of tour before. He was super accommodating with such a large group. Yorgos gave us a meeting spot within walking distance of our hotel and it was super easy to find. We had SOOOOO much food. Everything was fantastic. Some small bites and then we sat down at a restaurant and had a feast!!! We learned the history of the food and tried so many different things. I would recommend this 100% but probably do less than 9 people lol was a bit harder to find places to sit with that many. What a fun experience!

Merci Nikolas pour cette visite qui a correspondu en tous points à ce que nous souhaitions. Pas besoin de marcher beaucoup pour découvrir Psiri par les petites rues et Anafiotika, Un peu d’histoire mais pas trop, Et surtout en-dehors des sentiers battus remplis de touristes. La durée de 2:30 est juste parfaite. Je recommande vivement cette expérience !Absolument genial !

de 10 proeverijen waren helaas niet verspreidt over 10 locaties. op 1 locatie kregen we al 4 gerechten. De grote wandeling waar we op gehoopt hadden werd een kleine wandeling. Daarnaast was het erg jammer dat er gevaped werd door de gids, ook tijdens het eten. Iets wat in Nederland echt niet kan of je vraagt of iemand bezwaar heeft dat er fevaped wordt. Tegenvaller dus

Nikolas provided wonderful transportation, information and conversation during our day trip down the coast south of Athens. Stopped at a beautiful little beach to soak up the Aegean sea and sun, a small cafe for pastries and drinks, visited the Temple of Poseidon and had lunch at a great seafood market and restaurant. Yorga was quite enjoyable during our food tour. He really did a wonderful job of finding unique Greek dishes for us to try since we were accustomed to the usual dishes. We were all quite pleased. My recommendations to improve the experience is to 1) assess the walking ability of the whole group as our walk to last restaurant was very long for the over 65 folks, and 2) don’t wait too long for one item. The dessert was a long wait which made the walk to final restaurant feel even longer. Would definitely recommend Jorga though. Delightful ! Fun experience

Had a good time with an experienced, relaxed and patient guide in Athens. He recommended unique Greek tastings that we would not have found on our own, while explaining bits and parts of the city on the walk between tasting locations. We had an amazing time with Nikolas on our Athens day tour. He took us to a local beach where we were the only tourists. We love getting the chance to experience real culture in the places that we visit. We then got to enjoy lunch at a cute, local restaurant. The food was delicious! Our family had a lovely time walking around the streets of Athens with Yorgos. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, sharing some of his favorite spots to enjoy local cuisine. After having spent the morning in the crowded Acropolis area, it was a pleasure to take a more leisurely walk around the city. Nicholas took me to Delphi. Along the way, we stopped at LIVADIA, a worthwhile stop in a really cute town. Had a great Trojan horse ( Instagram spot!!!) The museum at Delphi is terrific and it was very hot so the walk up to the ruins was painful as there is no shade. Ruins not in great shape. But Nicholas also then took me for the best ice cream to help me cool down. Nicholas was very up on his history of Delphi and mythodology and had very entertaining stories so I got a good understanding before I got to museum- do museum first, then you’ll have a better understanding of the pile of rocks You will see. Only the Athens Treasury and the amphitheater are in good shape.Great day in Delphi

Yorgos is very cheerful. Right off the start he had us laughing as we walked to our first destination. He told us fun stories about Athens, but also took the time to answer our questions. Yorgos also did something we have never experienced on other food tours. He asked us what we have already eaten so that he could take us to eat food we had not tried before. The length of the tour was perfect, as well as the timing between stops. The food that we tried was new to us, as well as delicious. We had an individualized tour with Nikolas who picked us up from the airport and showed us Corinth Canal, ancient theater of Epidaurus and Micenae, and gave us a glimpse of Nafplio before dropping us off at our hotel in that beautiful little sea town. We enjoyed the sites despite the heat, and had a lot of fun learning about the culture, history and food from Nikolas. This was not cheap but it worked well for us.
