We had the private 4 hour tour of Berlin with Alex who was informative and adapted the tour as we went along taking us to sights we would have never had thought of if seeing if doing it ad hoc. Betty was very likeable and a good guide. She was very knowledgeable about the area we covered and took us a couple of places we would never have found ourselves. The only drawback was that she seemed over excited about doing the tour that she spoke quite loudly and very quickly without a break which got a bit tiresome over three hours. Very enthusiastic guide.

We did a WW2 tour with Miha, with a group including our kids (9, 13), and in-laws (70's), and everyone had a great time. We got an amazing introduction and overview to all of Berlin, but the best was the personal stories and getting to know Miha. He was obviously a very passionate guide, well-informed, and very personable. The pace was perfect for us, and the time flew by. We spent two hours with Miha as he took us on a walking tour of Berlin and into The Reichstag. Unlike other tour guides we’ve had in the past, Miha stayed with us, listening along to the audio tour and adding additional information and context to what was on the recording. He was also generous with answers about his family’s experiences with events in Europe over the last 80 years that really brought the history out of names and dates into the impact it had on people and their descendants. Spending a few hours eating and drinking with Sara was an absolute pleasure. She accommodated my pescatarian teenager, despite Berlin not being a terribly seafood friendly city. Extremely knowledgeable and interesting throughout, not just with food, but also with respect to culture, history and politics. Learnt a lot, and a great introduction to the Kreuzberg district. Michele toured us on the hottest June day in Berlin… without wilting! She brought history to life, put the aftermath of WWII into a humanistic perspective, and mixed history with contemporary Berlin.
