We did a WW2 tour with Miha, with a group including our kids (9, 13), and in-laws (70's), and everyone had a great time. We got an amazing introduction and overview to all of Berlin, but the best was the personal stories and getting to know Miha. Seth met us at our hotel in Berlin and took us all the way to the camp and back. We were a family of 6 with 2 grandchildren, 2 parents and 2 grandparents. Seth set a pace that worked for all of us and helped us all understand what we were seeing. He was knowledgeable about the whole camp system and that helped us gain a broader perspective. He adjusted timing when it rained and made sure we had time for a quick lunch before boarding the train back to Berlin. He saw us all the way to the hotel before departing. We spent two hours with Miha as he took us on a walking tour of Berlin and into The Reichstag. Unlike other tour guides we’ve had in the past, Miha stayed with us, listening along to the audio tour and adding additional information and context to what was on the recording. We did the children tour allong the wall with Uygur. We had our two children, aged 9 and 12, with us and had a wonderfull two hours. Uygur was nice, helpfull and really great at engaging the kids. One of the highlights was drawing with chalk on the wall. Highly recommend!!!Fantastic tour and guide

Seth was a fabulous guide on our Off the Beaten Track walking tour around the fascinating area of Kreuzberg! Heerlijke wandel tocht gemaakt met Urgur (en zijn 12 jarige dochter). Begonnen bij Anne Frank museum om een indruk te krigen van de vele streetartists hun manier van communiceren. Duurzaam, effectief en heel inspirerend. Uygur's dochter wist de artisten op de muur tussen al die duizenden afbeeldingen feillos aan te wijzen ! Jmmy C, maar ook Mimi the Cat. Het museum is aan te bevelen, weggestopt in een steegje. Zegt dat wat? Vandaar op ons verzoek naar Kreuzberg, daar waar UYGUR als (voormalig?) bewoner veel van wist. Het " little Istanbul" , waar Engels en Turks de voortaal zijn. Veel geschiedenis en een wijk nog steeds in beweging. Wilt u een ander beeld krijgen van Berlijn, doe deze wijk aan. Seth was a charming and knowledgable guide. He took us round Berlin at a leisurely pace but we saw so much of the city. He wore his scholarship lightly but talked with great sensitivity and insight about memory and trauma. We visited a beautiful library, the Catholic cathedral, the opera house and a stunning 1920s shopping gallery ( with incredible chocolate shop) as well as the important historic and political sights we had specified. At the Holocaust memorial he was especially careful and respectful. A great trip and a lovely guy! Enjoyable and informative

My 14 yo grandson and I loved our tour with Seth. He told so many pertinent stories to our discussions on what happened in Berlin in WWII and showed us many photos of the original buildings that we discussed that were no longer there. We definitely got what we paid for and more - Seth showed us the Jewish Quarter, many beautiful memorials, talked about the damage that occurred as the Soviet’s arrived, told stories about many events during the war, and captivated us for the entire morning. The tour was well paced (including a stop at Starbucks for some sustenance for my grandson) and the rain didn’t stop him or us for a minute - in fact we hardly noticed it was raining (not!). On a special note, I asked Seth about Jazz clubs as this is a special interest of ours and he went above and beyond, doing research and giving us a list before arrival. I’ll call Seth again the next time we are in Berlin!! So many stories
