Parinita is a very nice person. But the tour was not what we expected. Not very precise regarding information shared. This tour also should defintely include the Nelson Mandela museum (Parinita did that gracefullly for us). We had very few information regarding Bo kaap and we had to to the Bo kaap museum by ourselves. Overall not that great tourGuide nice but the tour not great

We enjoyed our tour with Parinita. She was very knowledgeable about the things we were seeing and worked hard the entire time she was with us. We did notice that she seemed more comfortable with adults than our 11 and 13 year old boys - we found she was not quite sure what information to share with them and we struggled with the pacing a bit for them. We ended up finishing other tour just before the four hour mark, which was our choice as the boys (and my husband!) were tired, but we did end up missing parts of the tour I wish we had done. While I appreciate that she would have gone longer without extra fees, i would W have rather had an upfront conversation emphasizing that we needed to be done within the four hours so it could have been paced differently. Overall a good experience

Having visited Cape Town many times, we wanted to do something that was special and gave us insights that we had not yet known. The suggestion to do a food tour was immediately met with great approval. The choice was Parinita as our guide. Parinita showed us insights, experiences, and delicacies that we would never have seen and experienced as "normal" tourists in Cape Town. amazing experience, Parinita is super friendly and has very good knowledge of the area, she took us to know some beautiful vineyards, with spectacular views and we tested different wines made by families in the area, accompanied by excellent cheeses and sausages. Parinita was a wonderful hostess in every way! She was friendly, informative and fun in her approach. Everything was well organised and we each got a chance to try our skills that she taught us. The meal was delicious and so much to eat! Couldn’t of asked for a better start to our holiday! Parinita is amazing! There was nothing too much for her, her knowledge of SA was brilliant and showed us the sites that we as tourists would not go to ourselves, the food was amazing, especially the Bunny Chow! Parinita is een leuke vrouw, zij is heel gastvrij. Ze kookt niet echt zuid afrikaans, maar meer indisch zuid afrikaans. We hebben een gezellige middag bij haar thuis doorgebracht en zalig gegeten ( wel heel pittig) en daarna heeft zij ons maar liefst 3 uur rondgereden in haar eigen auto door Kaapstad. Wij hadden aangegeven waar we heen wilden en daarom heen heeft zij een route gereden met andere hoogtepunten. Fantastisch!! Zeker een aanrader.

This was a very tight schedule for our group of four and we wanted to maximise our experience by tapping into the insider knowledge of "the locals" on our recent Cape Town stopover in January. We were thoroughly rewarded on our half day tour "For the Love of Wine" with our adventure with Parinita. The organisation and booking was so seamless - the updates and followup were very personal and the tour was fun and information. Parinita was not only professional butwas keen to bring her bubbly and warm personality to the group to ensure we all felt comfortable and relaxed and were having a good time. We were able to take in two pairing - one with chocolate (big and commercial - but vibrant and delicious not the less) and one with cheeses (an intimate country affair - our favourite.) We were doing this as a "pre cruise" activity - and have to say that the experiences organised through WIthLocals have been a hit. Much more personal than the big group experience of the cruise line. A great afternoon and early evening - filled with wonderful wines, fabulous views and loads of "local laughs" - and even included some detours added by Parinita because we were close and were interested. Definitely recommend this tour and Parinita as your "local."A little wine tasting in Cape Town

To my cooking host for today, Parinita, the always smiling and supremely talented cook (all done by sight and taste - no recipes or measurements). I truly thank both yourself and Dev for inviting me into your home for the day. Was a true highlight, and really did feel like my home away from home. Four course South African traditional Indian home cooked meal and class with Parinita today. A truly authentic and must do experience when visiting Cape Town. Highly recommended by this little foodie!The most genuine experience available in Cape Town!!

Parinita was an amazing guide for the day my mother and I spent in Cape Town. Since our time in the city was short, we decided to use withlocals to find a local guide who could take us around the city and show us the main sights. In particular, I was looking for a guide who understood Hindi, so that my mother would feel comfortable and enjoy herself. Parinita was punctual, picking us up from our hotel in her spick and span car and taking us on a wonderful tour of various sites from Boulder Beach to Cape Point to Table Top Mountain to the Waterfront. We also stopped at many local places, including for a wonderful picturesque lunch by the water--she knows all the best spots! We even found time to shop for a few items we needed, with Parinita advising and helping us throughout. Parinita went above and beyond the call of duty :-). I left early the tour early because of other commitments, but Parinita took great care of my mother for the rest of the day, before dropping her off at the hotel in the evening. She was like family, taking care of all the little details to make sure that my mother was happy and comfortable. We were very, very impressed by her hospitality and concern for us--we could not have asked for a better guide. It was a memorable day with a local who knew everything about her lovely city, guided us like family, and made us feel safe and welcome. We hope to remain in touch with Parinita and will certainly recommend her to any family members and friends who visit Cape Town! What an amazing time with Parinita!

We went on Viator because we were in need of a vineyard tour with a driver. We booked the Constantia two vineyard option and that's how we found Parinita. She was amazing and the tasting was fabulous! Great wine, beautiful views and excellent chocolate pairings. Having her as our guide and driver was the best decision! The food walk with Parinita was a perfect start to our few days' stay in Cape Town. She met us at our hotel and lead us through the centre of Cape Town for a few hours. We visited many places we wouldn't find or dare to enter otherwise, which turn out to be perfect foodie spots. On the way we also received basic information and orientation of the city. There was plenty of food, so do not eat anything in advance! :) During all the time Parinita was cheerful, helpful and in all aspects a great host. We highly recommend her!
