Very good food tour even in extenuating circumstances where there was a football match on the same afternoon, as well as a tall ship in near St Marks Square, so a couple of the usual places he might have taken us were completely full. With so many food options available in Venice, I wanted to have someone guide me through the street food options. Adair certainly managed that plus more. She weaved snippets of history into our conversations whilst savouring a variety of foods. Adair made navigating the alleyways look easy and we probably needed her the next day when revisiting one of the cafes! We booked Adair for a Food and drink Tasting tour in Venice. She was fantastic! We could not have made a better choice. She was warm and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the food and the culture of the city. We had been to Venice before and wanted to see it from a different perspective. We also got to know a little about her personally which was delightful. We even stopped by her husband’s bar the next evening when we found ourselves wandering through the streets of Venice, looking for a place to eat. Her husband happily referred us to a wonderful local eatery. Obviously, the whole family is lovely. If we come back to Venice, Adair will be our first booking.Adair's Tour is wonderful!

Our afternoon with Alexandra was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. Mina is knowledgeable, flexible, kind, and fun. He was a good guide for our teens who had already been a bit overloaded with history after touring Doge’s palace, St Mark’s basilica and the Bell Tower. He adjusted the tour accordingly. Mina has a vast knowledge of history and was happy to answer all questions. A tour with Mina made our visit more meaningful because he shared tons of Information that we would have missed on our own. We originally chose a different guide for this food tour. She canceled on us a day before and arranged for Mina to be our guide. For this reason the tour time changed. We only made two food stops. While we enjoyed everything and didn’t leave hungry, we expected this to be more of a food tour and less of a historical walking tour. I highly recommend Mina. But I was not thrilled with “With Locals” and the last minute change. Mina is a wonderful guide!

We were a group of six and all loved Claudia. She took us on a food tour that was both informative and delicious. She also pointed us to the Modern Art Museum and an out of the way gelato place (both in quiet neighborhoods). My son insisted on going out by himself in the evening to find the place Claudia had taken us to get more of the spinach lasagna. Claudia was great!

The food tour with Claudia was simply one of the very best tours I've ever been on, She is so friendly and engaging, within 5 minutes it felt like we were just a group of friends going out together rather that any tour! She has incredible knowledge, a wonderful sense of humour and is kind beyond belief. As usual on a with locals food tour, we ate far too much, but the food was so tasty and the locations so thoughtfully chosen, it didn't feel overwhelming, rushed or too full. Claudia not only delivered a fantastic tour with lots of laughter and fun facts, she also went above and beyond and shared transport tips, a great option for Murano, and really helped us as a friend would with next plans. Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) had the pleasure of Elena's company for a couple of hours on our first day in Venice. She was such a great guide with a wealth of knowledge about Venice, it's history and the people. She told us lots of great stories that captured the kids attention. She was smart to limit the walking as it was the end of a long, hot day so we were all pretty tired. But we still got to see an area of Venice we would have never explored. Being from Venice, Elena has great insight into local life. For example, her family owns a gondola & she is teaching her own kids to operate it. Loris was excellent. He thoughtfully tailored the tour to our needs, especially since I had my 8-year-old daughter with me. When she didn’t take to the chocolates at one of the stops, he kindly ordered her some jelly sweets instead. Claudia was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing with us topics from how Venice manages rising sea levels and its sinking to its history, art, architecture and urban planning. She did so in a way which was engaging, humorous at times, and with reference to actual sites so it was not dry and cerebral. She was energetic and committed throughout the 2.5hr+ tour despite being under the weather and having to bear with the heat, the walk and the distance. Our day with Valerio was amazing! After meeting at the local fish market, we went to his home on murano to prepare a meal. It was delicious and so fun to feel like a local. Our tour of murano included stops to learn about glass blowing. Our daughter got to make her own glass bead and then we toured a glass showroom which was beautiful.
