We loved our trip to Evora with Luis. First, Evora is a beautiful walled city with great character. The roman ruin, churches and cathedral were a great draw, but it was walking the streets and seeing the shops we loved the most. It was also wonderful to be outside of Lisbon for a day and see the countryside. Second, Luis was a terrific guide for us. From the car ride first thing in the morning until the return trip in the afternoon he was filled with information. He weaved together questions we had from other tours with new information about our visit to Evora and really helped us form a more complete picture of Evora, Lisbon and Portugal (people, places, culture and history). He is a wealth of knowledge that flows in conversations and stories and kept us engaged all day. We spent a day with Sofia touring the beautiful city of Evora. Sofia picked us up at our rental in Lisbon right on time and drove us through Portugal's beautiful countryside giving us interesting information along the way. We really enjoyed the sights she showed us and had a wonderful meal inside the walled city. I'm so glad we decided to leave Lisbon for the day as there is so much to see outside it. Sofia is really knowledgeable and such a delight to spend time with. I felt like we had a new friend by the end of the day. A beautiful day in Evora!

Wir hatten einen sehr interessanten Tag in Évora. Luis hat uns sehr viel berichten können und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Auf der Fahrt von Lissabon nach Évora und zurück haben wir sehr viel über das Land, die Historie etc erfahren. Ein kurzer Abstecher zu einem Weingut und zur Christus Statue rundeten den Tag ab. She was warm, friendly, and so knowledgeable, guiding us through highlights like the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, Castelo de S. Jorge, and the beautiful Igreja de São Roque. What we loved most was how she mixed history with personal touches, making us feel like we were exploring the city with a local friend. She brought us to great food stops, like O Trevo for a pork sandwich and Manteigaria for the freshest pastel de nata. She pointed out even more! I booked a tasting tour with Sonia on our arrival day. I had worried we might be too jet lagged to enjoy it but I was so glad I booked anyway! Walking around the city with Sonia was like walking with a close friend. We walked , laughed and did not know where the time went . I had to add an extra person the day before and Sónia went out of her way to coordinate withlocals team to add the extra person. Wir hatten eine traumhafte schöne Führung mit Luís! All die Informationen über Geschichte, Hintergründe, Entwicklung der Stadt und auch persönliche Erfahrungen der eigenen Familie wurden so kurzweilig und interessant rüber gebracht, dass es von Anfang bis Ende spannend blieb. Vorab schon gab es eine tolle Kommunikation, wo wir nach Wünschen und Ablauf gefragt wurden. Auch die Restaurant Tips unter Berücksichtigung der genannten Unverträglichkeiten waren Gold wert. Eine davon haben wir gleich nach Ende der Tour umgesetzt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Man hat gemerkt, dass Luís sein Job Spaß macht. Uns wurde weitaus mehr geboten, als wir erwartet hatten. Sowohl inhaltlich, als auch zeitlich. 1000 Dank für diesen tollen Tag! Einfach perfekt!

There were 6 family members on our tour with Sonia. 1 has knee mobility issues and needs to move slower at times. We reached out to Sonia several weeks before the tour and she was so very considerate to make sure we were all comfortable with special attention to our one family member. In talking with Sonia, it’s very apparent she loves people and her city! We felt like we immediately connected with her and really enjoyed our time with her - hearing about and tasting some of her favorite foods - croquettes, coffee, code cakes, shrimp, chorizo, pasteles de nata and the cherry liqueur Ginja! She also asked if we were interested in history and shared some of the history of Lisbon and Portugal, and she took us into an amazingly beautiful church. Sonia was so lovely and accommodating! We requested a walking tour that was family-friendly including infants in strollers, kids and older adults. She was able to keep the walk in good terrain. Albeit we arrived quite late as it was challenging with babies and jet lag but she still waited for our group and gave us a good tour of the city in the remaining time we had!Lovely and accommodating

Wat eek toffe madame is Veerle, we lieten ons meeslepen door de doolhof aan straatjes, stapten mee in haar enthousiasme eb genoten van de view, de weetjes, de leuke winkeltjes, … Veerle weet waar ze mee bezig is, ze kent de stad en geeft haar liefde voor Lissabon en de omliggende streek al te graag door. We had a lovely time being guided by Veerle through Lisbon. She will tell you a lot about the past and present - adjusted to the subjects you want to know more about. I do think it’s expensive but it was worth it for me because it was in Dutch which was easier to understand for my kid. Veerle is very knowledgeable.

Henrique was an incredibly knowledgeable guide. He knows the city intimately and is a fountain of knowledge about history. Had a great visit with Tiago to Fatima and Obidos in July 2025....He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and very kind throughout the day-long journey. As a visitor with some existing background knowledge of Portugal in advance of our travel, I was grateful that Tiago went beyond explaining the "what" of what we were seeing and dove deeper into exploring the "why" from a historical and cultural perspective. This was our first time ever traveling with a personal tour guide, and we were a little apprehensive that we would feel rushed and/or simply received a "pre-packaged" experience....not the case with Tiago! He tailored the day to our very specific interests, and the whole experience felt extremely relaxed and personal....we'd recommend him without hesitation!!! Great Experience!

Francisco brought us to some amazing stops. The beaches were gorgeous and there was a good mix of historical information and sites as well. He was thoughtful and kind and let us take our time to take in the beauty of each stop. He found us a local restaurant in a fishing village where we chose our own fish for them to prepare for us. I highly recommend this tour. It was nice to get out of the city.Highly recommend this tour

Luis was such an amazing host. He was courteous and gave us an overview of the itinerary. He made sure the sequence of our itinerary and timings were so we avoided most of the crowds. He was flexible so my daughters has more beach time at Cascais. His knowledge of history and his storytelling was excellent.
