While waiting for train to Howth , Kate asked us what we each were looking for in the tour. My husband loves history and I enjoy architecture and gardening. Kate made sure to include those items and more. I am hearing impaired and I had no trouble hearing or understanding her. Our tour was very fun and we learned a great deal. She was very attentive and caring about us as we walked along. Before leaving at the end of the tour, she let us know about some very good restaurants in the area, which we took full advantage of. Finally, Kate invited us to text or email her with any questions for the remainder of our time in Ireland. Exploring Howth with Kate was delightful.

We wanted a day outside of Dublin and had a wonderful trip to Howth with Eamon. He met us at our hotel and started filling us in on some of the history of the buildings we were passing and of Ireland as we walked to the train station. Our time in Howth was spent mostly on the hiking trail that goes along the coastline - beautiful! Eamon is very engaging and knowledgeable and will provide the experience you want. We booked Ruairi with just a days notice! He messaged us right away that our Howth day trip would be less than ideal in the rain. On very short notice he came up with a great tour of Malahide castle. We spent the morning exploring the castle and the gardens. He taught us a ton about Irish history and answered all our questions. In the afternoon he showed us around Dublin and we ended the day with the best toastie & pint of our trip. Absolutely amazing. We had a magical day hiking Howth Cliff with Ben. It was our favorite tour that we did while visiting Ireland. Ben was a great tour guide. He showed us some amazing spots on the cliff and imparted a lot of interesting history about the area. This area is so picturesque and the views are breathtaking. It was a very enjoyable experience to walk on the cliffs around Howth. My family of four (including two picky teenagers) LOVED our time in Dublin with Eamon. We did two tours with Eamon--the Dublin kickstarter tour and the day trip to Howth, both of which were pretty perfect! Eamon was super responsive via messages prior to meeting, and I really appreciated that. He willingly met us at our hotel and absolutely charmed us with his comprehensive Irish knowledge and easy going tour style. We learned so much in such a short time. Eamon was a fantastic tour guide. He met our family of 5 at our Air B & B and gave us a brief walking tour of Dublin on the way to the train station. From there we took a quick train ride to the beautiful seaside village of Howth. Along the way Eamon shared his vast knowledge of the history of Ireland. Once in Howth we braved cold howling winds from Storm Dennis but that didn't dampen Eamon's spirit and the absolute beauty of the cliff walk. The day was definitley the highlight of our trip. Our food tour with Ruari with wonderful and a perfect introduction to the city and its food. We made 10 stops and sampled a variety of food, from chocolate, Guinness, fish and chips, stew, ice cream, cider, and more. Definitely come very hungry to this tour. So happy we booked this food tour with Ruari! We enjoy doing a food tour to literally get a taste of the city and Ruari delivered an exceptional experience. We had some must see places on our list that I doubt we would have had time to find on our own and thanks to Ruari we actually got to visit them. We really enjoyed all of our tastings and Ruari’s stories. If you are looking for a great food tour, I’d highly recommend this one with Ruari. He also went above and beyond when our flight in was delayed and met us at our hotel which we REALLY appreciated because we almost always get lost in new cities. Ruairi was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! We loved hearing the history, cultural significance and personal anecdotes about each place we visited! And every bite of food he brought us to was phenomenal! We adored the variety we got to try and he was really attentive to adapting things if he found out one of us wasn’t a fan of a certain flavor (I’m not a coffee person and he remembered that when he gave us some guinness since it’s also bitter and turned it into a cocktail for me so I’d enjoy it more!). Not to mention his wit and sense of humor! We were laughing the whole way! We really felt like we knew the real Dublin a lot better because of his tour and highly recommend him!!Wonderful tour!

Ruairi is an entertaining guide. He has lots of colorful tidbits and facts on the local culture and its history. We had plenty to eat and drink and even bypassed the last stop in favor of the most delicious ice cream at Murphy’s. The stop at Sweny’s Pharmacy was an add on and he was kind enough to pick us up at the train station rather than the originally scheduled meet up. Ruairi was such a pleasure to have lead us on a food tour through Dublin. He came with waters and Tayto chips for the large amount of kids with us, and all of the places were prepared for our large group. The cherry on top was taking us to a Pub where we learned the proper way on how to pour a Guiness.
