Sara was fantastic, fun and positive! She did everything from start to finish. We only had to show up! She not only has a wonderful tour, she pre-bought our train tickets having them ready for us to go to Naples from Rome, before we even met her at the train station in Rome to go to Naples. We enjoyed that she took us to places that most tourists do not typically see, and taking us to places where locals eat. Sara was able to show us hidden gems along our tour that we would have missed if she was not with us. She would patiently wait as we went into places she suggested, or if we stopped to buy pretty jewelry from street vendors. She knows exactly where she is going and was observant regarding time. When we would go to Foodie places, we did not stand in long lines. She went to the front person and they immediately had our food ready. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. She suggested for us to have WhatsApp on our phone, which was very helpful in conversing with her prior to the tour and for an easy meeting point. Emanuele was such a wonderful host and guide—spending time with him honestly felt more like hanging out with a local friend than being on a tour. He even sent me the exact meeting spot with photos ahead of time (so even I couldn’t get lost 😅) He showed me some really fun spots, like the gelato stand where the Obamas once stopped (yes, that famous one!). We stopped in and had some ourselves. Along the way, he shared stories and explained little details—like why the statues in the fountains look so crisp and white—that really brought Rome to life. Where the Embassies were and where Julias Caesar was assassinated. I’d reached out before the tour to let him know I have celiac disease, and he went above and beyond: sending me a list of gluten-free resources and even checking in the next day to see if I had questions. That kind of thoughtfulness meant a lot. What I loved most is that he’s truly local to Rome! He knows the side streets, the history, and all the stories that make the city so special. The whole experience was relaxed, personal, and genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommend!Gelato + Kindness = Better Than a Tour!

My wife, two children and I visited the colosseum and surrounding areas for 3 hours with Eleanor. She gave us a lot of really entertaining information as we went round and was very engaging for us and the children. She clearly knew the most efficient routes and we got to see everything without wasting any time. My children keep saying how glad they were that we had Eleanor with us and about how much they enjoyed the tour. I wouldn’t normally spend this much on a private guide, but I’m very glad that we did on this occasion. Booking with Eleonora was absolutely the best decision I made for the entire trip to Rome! Her English is excellent, very easy to understand. Her knowledge of history is great as well. However, the best part about her was her assertiveness with other travelers and locals to get us where we were supposed to be when others were in the way. We visited St. Peter’s and the Vatican Museum during the youth pilgrimage for the Jubilee and the crowds were insane. If we were on our own we never would have gotten in to any of the venues, even with skip the line tickets. Lastly she managed to get us underground tickets for the Colosseum as well! Don’t think twice about booking with Eleonora, she made our trip much more memorable. Thank you Eleonora!Priceless!

We had the best experience with Max as our tour guide in Rome. He somehow managed to keep both the adults and the kids totally engaged—which is no small feat. I booked an all day private tour with Sara and she was amazing. She was able to speed the tour up and skip a few things to appease our crowd. It was about 100 degrees and everyone was done after a few hours. We still got to see all the highlights we wanted to and had an expert in our pocket throughout the day. Great day with Sara.
