Travelled to visit chateaux in the Loire Valley by metro, fast train and car with Anukool. Although this is a long day, I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations which helped the travel time fly by. Anukool shared his passion for travel as well as his knowledge of history, the Loire Valley and Paris. As a single traveller, I appreciate a guide who can customize a tour to suit my travel style. We visited three chateaux as planned, touring the interiors of two and the exterior and grounds of a third. We also fit in time to view a fourth chateau. Anukool was a wealth of information and knowledge both of the things on this tour as well as a multitude of other places, countries as he has done quite a bit of travel. It was a bit disappointing that we had to buy our tickets for the inside of Chenonceau, for the amount the tour cost and based on past experiences entry tickets are usually included in tour prices. We had great visits to Chenonceau and Cheverny. Our only complaint was that it didn't seem he did this trip that often and didn't do his homework and know about a big cycling race that was happening in one of the towns we were supposed to visit and what times restaurants close during the day as it was a challenge to find somewhere to eat lunch. Also his driving skills were not that great and at times didn't feel 100% safe. We took the train to Tours and then he drove a rental car to the Chateaus. Overall a nice day and good toursGreat Day Trip

We did a 3 hour food/tasting tour of the Saint-Germain des pres area with Alexia and enjoyed it very much! We got to see and hear about many places that we would have never discovered on our own. Alexia was very knowledgeable about the area, was an engaging speaker, and asked about our preferences to ensure we were all interested in the things that she covered during the tour. We took the Pastery tour with lovely Alexia who skillfully guided us between hidden spots, bakeries and parks in an interesting and fun way. The challange was not the easiest, really warm weather and us already starting the day with another tour and on the day of the festival "the day of the music", that brought half of Paris to the streets, Alexia had done her homework in advance, having multiple bakery options, in case of pasteries beeing sold out and even replanning on the go for a ice cream stop in the heat by choosing the lesser known location to avoid the huge lines at the main shop. The thing that really stood out with the tour was the truely great effort and huge heart Alexia showed during the tour and doing so in a genuin way that made it feel like beeing shown around by a friend. We had a wonderful afternoon with Alexia amongst delicious pastry, magical surroundings and streets filled with music. Choose a few hours, an afternoon or a full day with Alexia showing you arround, you woun´t regret it!Fun guidance with alot of heart and effort

Giedre walked us through magnificent traditional tastes of Paris! We even walked away with a few additional snacks. Afterwards, she provided a useful list of recommendations which we used for walking, dining, and shopping. Our group of 5 had a wonderful patisserie tour of Paris. Anukool is very knowledgeable and was able to provide an excellent tour of some very unique patisseries in Paris. Alexia hat mich und meine Familie auf eine Food Tour durch Monmartre mitgenommen. Sie war unglaublich freundlich, hat uns tolle Ecken gezeigt und viele Tipps gegeben. This tour was satisfactory but didn’t blow us away. Our guide, Anukool was friendly and had some great historical knowledge. However, we had to put him back on track a few times as he would drift into conversation about sports or travel elsewhere, we really wanted to learn as much as possible about the St. Germain area and the tour was a bit loose / not structured. Anukool also arrived 15 minutes late and we ran almost an hour over time. Which was fine but might’ve left people who had later plans not getting the full experience. Walking tour. Latin District

We loved our Mountmarte tasting, walking tour for 3 reasons: 1- Alexia, what a gem! And a true local, she was knowledgeable and gave us so many experiences we would never have known on our own. 2- the tastes! Again, nothing we would have known to try as visitors, and new and different things then i’ve tried before. Great balance of sweet and savory. 3-Anecdotes and history, alongside incredible views and sights. Incredible way to experience the city! While the quality of food samples shared on the tour were good the venues left much to be desired. It was awkward trying to enjoy the different foods while standing on the street. Also would have enjoyed hearing more about the details of the preparation of the different kinds of foods.Too much on the street food

Giedre was a gem. She was full of information and provided us with good samples. The tour itself was not what we were expecting. We assumed we would be sampling food in restaurants. Our first sample was in a restaurant and we did sit down and eat some cheese in the park and that was fine. Standing on a crowded street trying to eat a sample was not the most pleasant experience. I was expecting more drinks with our samples and I thought wine was included, but apparently it was not.Not the experience we were looking for

My wife and I booked an afternoon tour with Anukool around Montmatre. Met Anukool and he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who gave us a great tour of the area and told us many things we would not have learned if we had done this on our own. He recommended some great places to visit and eat. Montmatre as a area is well worth visiting and whilst there are the obvious attractions such as Sacre Couer there also many hidden gems. Alex had a wonderful itinerary planned for us. She sent me about 5 options to choose from and I picked one that ended in and around the neighborhood where we were staying. I also let her know we love food! It was great to be able to tailor our tour to our interests. She took us to a handful of sweets shops with different delicacies along with a shop for us to purchase good pate and cheese. We got a lot of history along the way and got to see a few hidden gems as well. She talked with each of us individually as we walked. Wow, très bien, what a great tour, and Iza was merveilleuse (wonderful)! We had the best time wandering Montmartre, savouring its delights and hearing about its history, its characters and its sights, particularly the out of the way ones. Iza, our tour guide, was so flexible, changing our route as we had already seen some of the sights. And being a Parisian, she told us all the sights, restaurants, cafes and wine bars to go afterwards (and also the places not to go)! She was easy to talk to and knowledgeable and by the end of the tour Iza was our new friend in Paris. Would highly recommend this tour and, more importantly, Iza as a tour guide. Iza is friendly and knowledgeable and really wanted us to enjoy our visit to Paris. She had lots of great local information, from shops, food, cafes, stores, sites, etc and also lots of interesting historical knowledge of the local architecture, parks and stores. Wonderful and unforgettable experience! Iza was lovely, and very interesting and informative about the area as well as the food. The tastings were inventive and well thought out. The Marché St Germain was incredible. I think the sweets and cheeses were our favorites but we all tried something new and had a really fun time. Iza took extra time to personalize the tour because we had one person with us who wasn’t as able to walk longer distances and we really appreciated it. An amazing evening to remember!

Giedre provided the best tour I have ever had. My experience in the past included group tours only. The custom feature of Withlocals made a monstrous difference. I took my 15 year old granddaughter to Paris. It was only the three of us for the entire 3 hour tour. Giedre is also a personal stylist which my granddaughter was thrilled to have!
