This was our first trip to Bali and so we canted somebody local and knowledgeable to show us around. De Nopi did not disappoint. We loved visiting the waterfalls, seeing the beautiful scenery and nature. De pointed many things out to us that we wouldn’t have seen or understood ourselves. De had seen my trying to photograph a butterfly and so suggested we visit the butterfly park. He was attentive, thoughtful and a pleasure to spend our day with. Thank you De! I went on the waterfall tour with Gede Nopi, we didn't have much luck because it was raining a lot and the waterfalls looked brown. So after two waterfalls we decided to switch the tour to a day where we visit the tempels. He told me everything about the customs for the praying and what I had to do at the Tirta Ampul temple. But he wasn't satisfied about the tour because I didn't get to see the waterfalls. So he offered me to go on a different day when the sun was shining to still give me the amazjng experience with the waterfalls! Best tourguide ever❤️The best tourguide you can have!

Our tour with De was fantastic from start to finish! From the minute we hopped in the car De was flexible and gave us exactly what we wanted. Um der morgendlichen Hektik Denpasars zu entkommen ging es recht früh gegen 6:30 pünktlich los. I made samt Fahrer holten uns vom Hotel ab und los ging die unterhaltsame Fahrt. Es war wirklich erfrischend auch einmal einen sehr gut deutsch sprachigen Guide auf Bali zu haben, so konnte man sich angeregt über Bali, die Kultur, Hinduismus, die Entwicklung des Tourismus, und und und unterhalten :-)! Der erste Wasserfall war gleich der Hammer. Auch bei späteren Touren haben wir keinen anderen Wasserfall erlebt der so eine Wucht auf uns hatte. Auch weiter im Norden ging es zu Tempeln, Wasserfällen und juhuu zu einem Lunch Buffet an denen es neben indonesischen Köstlichkeiten auch Nudeln gabs. Juhuu nach Woche(n) des Reis eine schöne Abwechslung 😅. Es ging weiter zu den berühmten Reisfeldern nach Jatiluwih. I made war immer sowohl Guide half aber auch beim Fotografieren aus und verhandelte für uns für bessere Preise bei den lokalen Ständen wo es leckere Mangosteen gab. Wer den Transfer in den Norden nicht scheut, oder idealerweise ab Region Ubud startet, dem kann ich diese deutschsprachige Tour nur empfehlen! Auf in den Norden zu Balis Wasserfällen!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the City Escape: The Bali Waterfalls Day Trip with guide De Nopi. As Americans, we greatly appreciated his good English and ability to explain so much about Balinese religion and culture. The twin waterfalls that De Nopi took us too were beautiful, as were the lush surroundings; we were really glad we wore suitable shoes, because the steps down were a bit tricky, and the return trip back up was a workout -- our thighs were sore the next day for sure. We also appreciated that he took us to off-the-beaten-path gorgeous temples and a quieter monkey sanctuary, instead of the more crowded popular options, so that we could enjoy them with less crowds. The monkeys at Sangeh Monkey Forest were also very chill and not aggressive. And the restaurant he took us to was very pretty with delicious food. Thanks, De Nopi, for a wonderful day and for sharing Bali with us!Great tour, highly recommend

Our adventure with De was amazing!!! He took us to a temple by a lake, 2 waterfalls, and then a coffee plantation, which I was able to swing on one of the Bali swings that are so popular. De was patient with us and allowed us to explore where we wanted and we never felt rushed. Our second trek took place in the rain (which he was willing to wait it out; we were not.... I'm a rain lover) we had that stop to ourselves and it was amazing! We got to enjoyed that stop on our time. We chose when to leave. Just to give others a head up... these are treks... there are nice paths/steps but they are steep. It is not for the faint of heart. I recommend good shoes and a minimal amount of extra luggage! Thank you so much De!!! It was a breathtaking/insane/awe-inspiring/humbling experience!!!A beautiful adventure!!

I Made was awesome. He and his driver picked us up at the hotel, and spoke to us about the culture and history of Bali along the way. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. As for the adventure through the jungle and up the mountain, wow! What a journey. Talk about an experience. Beautiful waterfalls. The hike is long and tiresome, but it’s worth it! I Made and the personal guide, Giri, were incredible. My wife and I had a blast. Definitely recommend this tour for anybody looking to do something outside the box! Awesome experience!

This trekking is the best thing that I could make it! Was amazing from the beginning to the end. Id is a magic person who you can speak about everything and always try to be sure that you are ok and enjoying with the amazing experience to walk around the beautiful area. The views are beautiful and the waterfull amazing! The best of all is that is not a very touristic tour and you can enjoy the nature and feel the good energy that the north of Bali can give you. I Made took us on quite the journey, full of beauty, unique and difficult paths. The hike felt very off the beaten path. We rarely saw other's, and when we did it was mostly locals. His hiking skills are legitimate. His 7 waterfall is extreme. We are not in perfect shape, but in no way out of shape. The hike was a leg burner. Steep up and downs, rock hopping, balancing on narrow path, hundreds of tall stairs and crossing rivers. But, the payoff was massive and extremely gorgeous! The secluded areas were well worth limping and cringing due to sore muscles for many days. He rocks! Book with him and be warned, the 7 waterfalls are no easy walk in the park (or in this case rice fields), it's real, it's extreme and special.Powerful and unique experience

He was amazing, taught us do much stuff on the drive, friendly, spoke English very well. After the waterfalls my ears were in pain and I was getting car sick, he gave me stuff to help with the nauseating feeling and stopped at a pharmacy so I could get ear drops. We had the absolute pleasure of spending a morning with Agung, and it was an experience we will never forget. He picked us up from our villa at 4 am and brought us to the breathtaking Jatiluwih Rice Terrace just in time for sunrise. From there, he guided us on a scenic hike through the rice paddies, sharing his immense knowledge of the area with such clarity and warmth. His English is immaculate, and his explanations made us appreciate the history, culture, and beauty of Bali on a whole new level. After the hike, Agung brought us to Cata Vaca café, where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking the most stunning views of the rice terraces. On our way back, he even stopped at the colossal White Tree in Tua Village, which was simply awe-inspiring. Highly recommend! I did a customised day tour with Putu (and wish I had time for more). He has a calm, relaxed energy and a real gift for teaching. At each stop he explained the meaning behind what I was seeing, especially around Balinese culture and religion. I learned so much about the ceremonies that shape people’s lives here, which made the sights feel even more special. We visited Sangeh Monkey Forest, Taman Ayun Temple, and Tanah Lot, and the slower pace gave me time to actually take it all in rather than just rush through. On top of that, he still made sure I got great photos and handled the practical stuff along the way. I’d recommend Putu to anyone, whether you’re into culture, sightseeing, or just want a guide with a wealth of knowledge. I Putu was the best guide! He picked us up on time and showed us the sights of Bali! He was so pleasant and fun! Very knowledgeable about everything Bali. His English was impeccable and so was his understanding of the language. The only drawback was the traffic!! It took hours to go just a few miles. Of course this was not his fault we just felt bad for him and all the driving. It made for a long day. BUT I would gladly spend the day with him again. He also arranged for one of his team members to transport us to the airport! All around great experience!Great Day with I Putu!

Der Reiseleiter war ausgesprochen freundlich. Er hat alles sehr verständlich erläutert. Obwohl der Verkehr chaotisch war, was außerhalb seiner Kontrolle lag, hat er sich bemüht, diesen, wo es möglich war, zu umgehen. Wir empfanden den Preis lediglich als etwas hoch.Netter Guide

Im Rahmen unseres Strandaufenthaltes in Nusa Dua haben wir zwei Ausflüge mit Made gebucht. Vor allem unsere 8- und zwölfjährigen Töchter konnten sich gut mit ihm verständigen. Dadurch dass unsere Gespräch auf Deutsch stattfinden, haben wir viele Einblicke in die Kultur erhalten. Neben dem vorher vereinbarten Programm, hatte ja immer Ideen, die längere Autofahrt zu unterbrechen und uns etwas Balitypisches zu zeigen und näher tu bringen. Wir hatten zwar wirklich tolle Tage, die wir dank Made sehr genossen haben. Da auf der Insel zum Teil sehr viel Verkehr her herrscht, wäre es zu empfehlen über eine Zwischenübernachtung nachzudenken. We were picked up at our hotel by Putu, he was on time and was accommodating all day. Listening and adjusting throughout. I was keen to visit an ancient Banyan tree, this was a first for Puta, he enjoyed it too and made sure we hit some photographic memories.
