Everything went smooth and as planned. I had an amazing day with Karlis. He met me exactly on time and we went on a fascinating city tour of Oslo which lasted over 5 hours. We walked all around and took the tram several places. We also went to one of the islands. He took care of getting those tickets. I saw SO many amazing things and learned to much about Norway, Norwegians, Oslo, food, architecture, you name it. It was beyond fabulous. He is quick with communication and his English is perfect. He speaks other languages as well. I HIGHLY recommend Karlis. BEST tour guide-Oslo and all things Norway

Michal was a fun, energetic, and easy-to-talk-with guide who made our food walking tour enjoyable and memorable. We especially liked the impromptu gin and aquavit tastings, which added a spontaneous and fun touch to the experience. We had an amazing late afternoon with Michal taking us around Bergen tasting food at 10 of his favorite spots! Starting and finishing off with some special Norwegian treats that Michael brought along added a special touch to our experience. It was as if we were touring the town with an old friend. We can’t say enough good things about our time with Karlis. Our tour was well thought out, and he not only helped us to get a great picture of main sites to see, but hel also gave us a lot of insight into the culture of the beautiful city of Oslo. We definitely recommend doing this tour on your first day in Oslo because Karlis will fill you in with lots of things/ideas that you can then go and do on your own. He was also extremely thoughtful and gave us tickets to use the buses, boats and rails. Enjoying our food tour with Karliss was like hanging out with an old friend swapping stories and tasting some amazing local food and drink. He introduced us to a wide variety of Norwegian delicacies which were always accompanied by a varied choice of beverages. Our evening was extremely well organized and we were never rushed through our meals. Over the course of our evening, Karliss shared stories about his experiences traveling the world and provided some informative information about Norwegian customs and current events. Marcela was great company and beyond informative. We loved our tour and learned lots. Highlights were when she took us into two buildings (City Hall and the Library) that we would never have known to visit. We would have just walked by them. We had a little chat, and set our expectations on what we wanted to see, and what she really wanted us to have seen. Very nice! During the tour we received detailed information about the history of Oslo, as well as about the current situation and living standards. The friendliness, fun and joy she expresses when guiding you around, is extraordinary. We strongly recommend everyone to give it a try. Karlis is an extremely warm and knowledgeable guide about Oslo and the food scene. He is so adaptable to what you really want to experience in food. My husband wanted to try traditional local game meats and Karlis took us to a high end food emporium for a local traditional meat experience of reindeer stew and moose burgers. He also exposed us to the local traditional spirits and plenty of local beers. Great person to talk to regarding the culture and people living in and around Oslo. Don’t expect a lot of very traditional Norwegian food because they enjoy Indian, Italian and Tacos. Highly recommend.A great way to experience Oslo

Whoever says Norwegians are cold hasn’t met Karlis, he was right on time, came right to our hotel and brought us coffees ! He even started the tour a whole hour earlier to show us some sites around the city. He custom tailors each tour depending on what you want to eat and leaves a direct line open if you have any questions about anything Oslo after you part ways with him. He wrote down restaurants and sites for us and even brought us a tourist map. When you calculate how much the food costs and how much he has to give to the website you find that the tour is positively cheap. We spent 4+ hours with him and were sorry when we had to part ways. Highly recommend ! Spend your day with Karlis!
