TRAIN RIDE FROM NICE TO MONACO!!! Six of us had the pleasure of meeting Diana. She was a gracious, patient, flexible and extraordinary host!! Our ship arrived in Nice a bit late. We contacted Diana and she was able to adjust given our limited time. Diana was very friendly and knowledgeable about her city. We learned so much about Monaco!!! Its a beautiful city!! We started off by Diana asking us to be an hour earlier than planned. We abided. Then Diana was 45 minutes late with excuse highway was closed. (We think she had child care issues on her phone all day. She told us trains were delayed to Monte Carlo. It didn't seem people were waiting for delayed trains just she didn't want to go. We paid for an Uber including her with no offer to pitch in for anything the entire trip. When I was in USA I copy and pasted a reservation I had made for lunch. She took us to places we didn't request. Also, I missed my lunch at Cafe de Paris because she told me you can't eat there. She took us to a restaurant by the Port and it was terrible. She Ordered the most expensive thing on menu and never offered to pay. She bought one small snack for two of us. I wanted to shop and she took me to a bathing suit store. I didn't want this. She hurried us to get back from Monaco and we couldn't even have a drink at Cafe de Paris because she had to get back. NEVER choose her for Monte Carlo on a Wednesday. She is great for facts about Monte Carlo but never a personalized tour.Diana the sad

An excellent food tour with Natalia! She provided some history of Nice and introduced us to all the Nicoise specialties and the best places to get them. We have a new friend for life with Natalia!!! This may have been my favorite tour of a 2 week trip. Okay, yes I like to eat and this was a tasting tour, but we got the best treats along the way. Natalia is charming, easy to talk to and we definitely formed a bond. She showed us all around Vieux Nice so that we were comfortable knowing our way around for days after the tour. She pointed out the best food stops, restaurants and shops and remained available after the tour if we needed anything. She is so lovely and she made us fall even more in love with Nice and its spirit and the joie de vivre !

We had the pleasure of experiencing a relaxed and cozy tour of Nice's city center with Guido. She not only showed us the most beautiful spots in the city but also always responded to our questions and shared many interesting stories about the local shops. The visit to the Castle Hill was particularly impressive, where we learned quite a bit about the history of Nice. We would have loved to hear even more information during this part of the tour, but overall, it was a wonderful time. We booked a food kickstarter tour of Nice that included 6 food tastings. We expected this to be like other WithLocals food tours where we would walk & talk, stop to eat, walk & talk, eat, etc. Unfortunately that did not happen. While Karin was a pleasant and informative guide, we only stopped for food once 1.5 hours into our 2 hour tour. When I pointed out that we were not getting what we had paid for, Karin said the company writes the description but that is not the tour she does. Lesson learned is to always confirm the tour specifics with the guide. We complained to WithLocals and got a credit and we learned a lot about Nice (which was helpful) but we were disappointed since we did not get the experience that we expected. Pleasant guide, but not the tour we booked

My family and I booked a culinary tour with Natalia during our 4-day trip to Nice. We really really enjoyed our time with her! She was knowledgeable about Nice, super friendly, and organized. She answered our questions about the history of the area and gave us great recommendations for things to see on our next visit. We got to sample delicious local food and she was very accommodating of our dietary restrictions (no alcohol, pork, or shellfish). My parents are still raving about the tour. My only regret is not booking the tour earlier during our stay so don’t make the mistake I did. Book with Natalia and do it early on during your stay. You must book with Natalia!

We really enjoyed our food tour with Natalia. We caught the tail end of a storm and Natalia kindly waited with us for 45 minutes for the torrential rain to stop before starting the tour.
