Our family chose the ‘City Explorer: Obidos, Batalha, Alcobaça & Nazaré’ day trip and had a wonderful time visiting multiple sites with Stasea. All locations were extremely diverse and offered a little bit of everything. I highly recommend doing a guided tour to these locations as they are far distances from Lisboa. Stasea was extremely knowledgeable of the history, patient, kind, and also a great driver. The ages of our group ranged from 7-65 years old and everyone had a good time! I highly recommend choosing this tour if you have additional days in Lisboa and want to see different areas of the country. Great day visiting multiple sites!

Wir hatten eine traumhafte schöne Führung mit Luís! All die Informationen über Geschichte, Hintergründe, Entwicklung der Stadt und auch persönliche Erfahrungen der eigenen Familie wurden so kurzweilig und interessant rüber gebracht, dass es von Anfang bis Ende spannend blieb. Vorab schon gab es eine tolle Kommunikation, wo wir nach Wünschen und Ablauf gefragt wurden. Auch die Restaurant Tips unter Berücksichtigung der genannten Unverträglichkeiten waren Gold wert. Eine davon haben wir gleich nach Ende der Tour umgesetzt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Man hat gemerkt, dass Luís sein Job Spaß macht. Uns wurde weitaus mehr geboten, als wir erwartet hatten. Sowohl inhaltlich, als auch zeitlich. 1000 Dank für diesen tollen Tag! Einfach perfekt!

From the wine talk and tasting to the relaxing boat ride to the delicious lunch, it was a lovely day! The views were unbeatable and Tiago was personable, fun, and kind. The laid back approach to the day was certainly appreciated and provided a much-needed respite from our tight travel schedules. When we arrived back in Porto, Tiago even took the extra time to drive us around the area, stop at the beach, grab ice cream, and share his recommendations for lunches and dinners. Een nieuwe stad ontdekken met onze kinderen in onze moedertaal. Moesten we gewoon proberen. Wat eek toffe madame is Veerle, we lieten ons meeslepen door de doolhof aan straatjes, stapten mee in haar enthousiasme eb genoten van de view, de weetjes, de leuke winkeltjes, … Veerle weet waar ze mee bezig is, ze kent de stad en geeft haar liefde voor Lissabon en de omliggende streek al te graag door. We had a lovely time being guided by Veerle through Lisbon. She will tell you a lot about the past and present - adjusted to the subjects you want to know more about. I do think it’s expensive but it was worth it for me because it was in Dutch which was easier to understand for my kid. Veerle is very knowledgeable.

Had a great visit with Tiago to Fatima and Obidos in July 2025....He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and very kind throughout the day-long journey. As a visitor with some existing background knowledge of Portugal in advance of our travel, I was grateful that Tiago went beyond explaining the "what" of what we were seeing and dove deeper into exploring the "why" from a historical and cultural perspective. This was our first time ever traveling with a personal tour guide, and we were a little apprehensive that we would feel rushed and/or simply received a "pre-packaged" experience....not the case with Tiago! He tailored the day to our very specific interests, and the whole experience felt extremely relaxed and personal....we'd recommend him without hesitation!!! Great Experience!

Francisco brought us to some amazing stops. The beaches were gorgeous and there was a good mix of historical information and sites as well. He was thoughtful and kind and let us take our time to take in the beauty of each stop. He found us a local restaurant in a fishing village where we chose our own fish for them to prepare for us. I highly recommend this tour. It was nice to get out of the city.Highly recommend this tour

Luis was such an amazing host. He was courteous and gave us an overview of the itinerary. He made sure the sequence of our itinerary and timings were so we avoided most of the crowds. Joao is an absolute amazing tour guide. He met us on time, in fact he was early. Took us around Lisbon and showed us secrets to avoid the hills. We went west to east and down to “ the valley” and learned about the history of Lisbon. He is very knowledgeable and his English is perfect. My husband and I had the most wonderful half day tour with Luis to Sintra this weekend. He is such a nice person, a very good driver, and so knowledgeable. We got so much more out of the tour than we were expecting: a trip to the historical city center of Sintra, a guided tour of the grounds of Quinta Da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and then the coastal drive to Belem, with stops along the way. You can choose which palace(s) you want to see. We had a great time and we could never have done it on our own in that amount of time. He also texted recommendations for restaurants near our hotel in Lisbon. Fantastic Tour With Luis

We had such a wonderful day with Tiago. He was a fantastic host and tour guide. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and he was just so wonderful with her. He made our day extra special. The tour was excellent - he was so knowledgeable and took us through the valley for a port tasting and tour, boat trip on the river and we stopped for lunch for some of the best food we had while on this trip. Rita was an amazing guide for our day exploring Sintra! I expressed my dream of seeing Peña Palace and Regaleira in one day. Rita expressed worry about the achievability of this plan, but was willing to try to make it work! We made it work! It was an enjoyable experience, though a bit of a workout! Wear comfy shoes! After touring the beautiful grounds of Peña and Regaleira, Rita took us to a delightful place with beach access for lunch. We had hoped to make it to Cascais as well, but ran out of time. Rita was willing to hang with us as our kids enjoyed the beach. She was engaging with the kids - perhaps because she has two kiddos that are similar aged. The day felt like spending a day with a friend. She shared with us her love for the area, which made the tour a great learning and fun time!
