Willem was many things… funny, informative, friendly and on time! He made sure we saw many interesting parts of Amsterdam, gave us a history lesson at almost every location and even made sure we took the proper train back to the airport! Highly recommended! It was a 10!Great time with Willem!

We had the pleasure of being guided around Amsterdam for 2,5 hours. Not enough to cover whole city obviously but Sebastian gave us a good overview. He picked us up at our hotel and was very knowledgable and pleasant so we had a very nice walk ending up (as requested) at a nice local pub in De Jordaan. Highly recommended and would definitely use him again.Great guided walk

On a short layover in Amsterdam, I experienced a City Tour of Amsterdam's canals and red light district. It was truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Willem accommodated my needs by meeting me at the airport since there was no way I could navigate Amsterdam enough to go beyond the airport without a guide and not miss my connecting flight. I felt comfortable because he is a genuine, kind, and caring person. Willem's deep knowledge of Amsterdam's history, culture, and architecture was immediately evident. He effortlessly navigated through the city's streets and canals, offering fascinating insights into each landmark we passed. My experience with Willem surpassed my expectations. I recommend Willem to anyone interested in exploring Amsterdam, to gain a deeper appreciation for its rich history and heritage. He recommended a canal cruise to provide a breathtaking perspective of Amsterdam's architecture. I will be back in Amsterdam soon to explore his recommendation. Wir, die 5 Mädels vom Berliner Stadtrand, hatten eine sehr unterhaltsame Tour, die Zeit verging, wie im Flug. Marten hat viel erzählt über Amsterdam damals und heute, nette Anekdoten eingebracht und geduldig alle unsere Fragen beantwortet. Er hat uns Tipps für Restaurants gegeben und das nette Café mit dem besten Apfelkuchen der Stadt war eine sehr gute Empfehlung von ihm. Leider war er für weitere Touren während unseres Aufenthaltes schon ausgebucht. Vielen Dank Marten und viel Spaß bei deinem nächsten Besuch in Berlin Interessant und viel zu schnell vorbei

We had a wonderful time with Willem the author, journalist and fabulous story teller. We were two families with five kids between us and Willem managed to keep them all entertained with interesting family friendly history and facts while touring the centre of Amsterdam. We all had a brilliant time. He is also a great photographer and we got a few group shots of us all together in scenic and interesting places. Highly recommend Fabulous time with Willem

Olga is an awesome tour guide! Her tour went above my expectations. On short noticed, I reached out to Olga. I provided her with some of my expectations. Here response time is quick and she created a customized tour for me. The one thing that I really love the most was her telling me interesting facts about the city/buildings. Thanks to Anna for the tour. It was really informative and we enjoyed it. We are fans of withlocals generally and this tour gave us an overview of the city's history. It wasn't made as engaging for the kids as we might have hoped, it felt like a preset tour. However, an important side note for with locals is that there is no child pricing. This tour cost the same for my 7 year old as an adult. A family of 5 tour was extremely expensive and I came away feeling we did not get great value for money. We ruled out the preferred cycling tour (with our own bikes) as it was 300 euros +. No flexibility was given on price. Enjoyable but pricing needs reviewed

We really enjoyed our tour with Phil and it was great for our family - our 18 year old daughter and 16 year old son both found it helpful and interesting, and Phil engaged with them both wonderfully. He showed us some hidden spots in Amsterdam which we otherwise wouldn’t have discovered. Phil was really easy company and happy to share his photography skills with us. Wonderful walking tour with Annet. Communicating with her through the app before hand was super easy and she was responsive. a city walk with Sebastian was amazing - we had a blast. all was there: historical and economical deep-dives (on demand), funny stories, bike-lane and space cookies survival tips, recommendations to eat out and drink out, provocative cross-cultural topics to think - all delivered in perfect English spiced with witty sense of humor. the only point to make it even better: include explicit offer to have an optional shot stopover into the program and check whether the speed of storytelling is not too fast for everyone in the group. keep it up Sebastian! awesome Amster-guide

Our group with 6 people from Germany has enjoyed the tour with Sebastian very much. The tour was nicely laid out and Sebastian was able to share good stories about Amsterdam in an entertaining way. My family and I all really enjoyed our time with Sebastian. We learned so much Dutch history, past conflicts, challenges and so many of the important contributions that Holland people have made across the world over the years. Olga was early and very knowledgeable about the city. I had about a million obscure questions and she new the answers to all of them. She even let us adjust the tour in the middle for me to look for better walking shoes! She didn’t have many reviews on with locals but she’s been a guide for 3 years and it showed. We took a tour with Sebastian the day we arrived. It was perfect! Sebastian gave us a great orientation of the city with some wonderful suggestions for what to do while we were there. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He did not rush us at all (we actually went 45 minutes longer than we were suppose to!). We did a Van Gaugh museum and the city walk with Anna. Both where memorable and very informative. Our museum experience was seamless and gr was t fun for me as well as my 3 year old, who renamed his Mr Bear to Vincent. Anna told us about the life, the art styles, the subtle difference that no audio tour can give. Anna gave us a fun and informative walk around the old part of Amsterdam. She started by asking us what we are interested in seeing. Then she nailed it. She showed us details we never would have noticed like the hat over the top if the door ( you have to take the tour to learn it’s significance). At the end of the walk she left us at a perfect pub for dinner. This is a great way to get oriented to the city. We recommend Anna and her tour. Fun walk
