I have been in Barcelona now for about a month and one area I had not known anything about was Raval. It was the part of the city I was interested in because of its artsy feel that I had read about.......Also, a bit skeptical about touring it with my friend alone, also because of what I read about 😊 Tomas was great! He was very relaxed about the area, put us totally at ease and took away all preconceived ideas. We didn’t just walk through the area, We engaged with Tomas in many discussions....his wealth of knowledge and history of Spain and other countries as well, was very impressive. The tour seemed to have ended so quickly as we were having such a good time. The we I refer to is my friend and I. If you can take a tour with Tomas you will be very happy you did! We loved the walking food tour with our guide. We were a family of 4, with an 11-year-old child. She made it fun and interesting for all of us. We learned about the history of Barcelona and saw some interesting things along the way to the restaurants, like a folk festival with dancing and a band, and a parade as well. The tapas we got to pick out at the restaurant were enough to count as a meal. The dessert we had at the restaurant next door was heavenly!Great food tour in Barcelona!

Maria was patient, calm, knowledgeable, friendly (all of the above)! It was so nice to just walk around not worrying about getting lost. What a great introduction to Barcelona! Jordi guided us away from the main drag pointing out significant sites and explaining the history of the city particularly from an architectural perspective. Jordi was friendly and outgoing and his introduction to Barcelona was the perfect launching point for our 5-nights in Barcelona recommending point of interest including day trips. Jordi’s style was easy going and relaxed. He knows his stuff and shared an enormous amount of info during our morning walk. Great introduction to Barcelona and Gaudi!

Muriel is a Barcelona native with tremendous knowledge of the city's culture and hidden gems. She was friendly, kind, very accommodating, and great with our kids. We did a fantastic walking tour through the old parts of the city, and ended up at the Maremagnum mall, where Muriel helped us to arrange for a portside lunch reservation. Her love for her city really shines through. One thing that I really appreciated is how flexible she is-- as we were brand new to the city, we asked her to meet us at our hotel, which she did.
