We joined Francisco on a food tour in Parma, and it was fantastic. His passion for local cuisine made the experience unforgettable. Francisco gave us a tour beyond expectations. He has a deep connection to the city, the region, and Italy, that showed in his explanation of the food industry and the local culture of food. He showed us some excellent markets for buying local products from friendly shops. He was professional, warm, engaging, and knowledgeable. Being trilingual helped us learn some Italian. We had one day in Parma - and we made the good decision to spend the first two hours of it with Francisco. We had come to Parma primarily due to the lure of the food. Francisco expanded our understanding of the area’s most famous ingredients (prosciutto and Parmesan) and introduced us to some new ones. Highly recommend! Parma and its Tables
