On a Kickstart tour, I would like to see the guide first take the time to give a map of the area and point out where you should absolutely visit and not miss when you're in the city. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 15yo, 15yo, 10yo) took an intro to Seville tour with Laura this weekend. Laura is friendly, engaging, and super knowledgeable… from architecture to history… we learned so much. We toured a second day with Laura to see the Alcazar and Cathedral. My husband and I toured these places on our own many years back and we had no idea what we had missed without Laura. She kept the kids engaged the whole time, with trivia, role play and little-known-facts/history. Her love for this city is clear. And we enjoyed our time with her so much! Our visit to Seville would not have been the same without the tour we did with Alvaro. He is a historian who had studied extensively at university. I spent 1.5 hours with Laura on the City Kickstart Tour. We met on time, actually a little bit early, which was a great start. Laura was very engaging and knowledgeable. She was able to show me some fairly “unique” parts to the city that I would never of found - even one in an underground car park! Having spent the time with Laura I felt more confident in exploring the streets of Seville. She left me with a great list of restaurants and other places to visit, as well as a better understanding of the extraordinary history of the city. Clara was such a great guide for our intro to Sevilla. We wanted an emphasis on food as well as history and she provided that, giving us the option of different itineraries. I'd already seen a little of Seville by the time I took this tour with Laura so we were able to bypass some of the usual sights and do some really random things like helping me get a bus card, checking out some subjects she was studying as part of her thesis, and finding the best ways to find my way out of the old city if I got lost.
