We had an amazing tour with Darko in the Diocletian Palace. Our family has a difficult time on a group tour due to our adult son being in a wheelchair and grandparents with mobility concerns. Linda was an excellent tour guide. She is very responsive before the tour via text. Happy to answer all of our questions and met us at the cruise ship gate. Her English was perfect. Darko was very welcoming to our small group of 6. He always only books small groups. He had a lot of historical info for us and toured us throughout the old town of Split. We were brought to venues that specialized in local delicacies as we weaved our way through the city. Most off the beaten track. He even shared recipes of some of the foods we loved! Our walk was planned around seeing a different view of the city, not just the tourist attractions . The tour was amazing from start to finish. Dube is well versed in history and gave us an amazing overview. This was especially helpful as it was our first day in Croatia. If you are visiting Split, do yourself a favor and book this tour with Duba! Not only will you taste delicious food, you will learn the history of both Split and Croatia and laugh as well. Also, Duba is a fantastic resource- she basically helped us plan the rest of our trip with recommendations for Hvar, Korcula, and Dubrovnik.
