Luciana is one of the best Withlocals guides we have had. She is very conscientious and adjusts the tour to your interests. We went on her Unique Mayfair Hidden Gems Walk. Luciana was personable and enthusiastic. She looked for our input repeatedly to be sure that she was exposing things on the tour we wanted to see. She brought us to sites we would not otherwise have found and gave excellent advice on things we should do and see during the remainder of our London visit (we toured with her the second day of ten). She also had good advice on dining and pubs. After the tour she forwarded by email a list of her suggestions so we didn't have to take notes on everything she said while walking with her. My only suggestion for improvement would be to pay a bit more attention to making sure all four of us were within earshot while talking; with street noise and being separated by crowded sidewalks, we sometimes missed some of what she was saying.West end tour

I enjoyed a wonderful tour of Mayfair with Luciana at the end of August. Luciana seamlessly adapted the tour to match my interests in London’s history, particularly the changes during the imperial era and industrialization. We covered the main sights, and Luciana shared fascinating insights about the buildings, the people who lived in them, and the neighborhoods we explored. We also spent a significant amount of time discussing social issues and the class structure that existed under the English nobility. Luciana was excellent. 'Hidden Gems of Mayfair' did not disappoint. Luciana was very knowledgeable, friendly and interesting. I spent a fun few hours with Luciana walking around Mayfair. Luciana is friendly, very pleasant and full of knowledge both historical and fashion wise. She pointed out so many interesting places, told me stories about them, walked me down tiny streets and hidden corners. I didn’t really feel like shopping but that could have been part of the tour had I wanted it and Luciana certainly knows the spots to shop. She even indulged me in finding a couple of addresses where a great aunt had lived and where my in laws once lived. It meant a lot to see those places. On my next visit to London I will be able to walk around Mayfair by myself and re-visit these fascinating places. I highly recommend doing this tour with Luciana!Mayfair discovery

Lucians guided us through the diverse and interesting fashion scene in some of London’s hippest neighborhoods. We traveled down streets that we might not have seen and into shops that we might have walked by. Luciana is a font of great informative and frames history as story. A former fashion designer, she knows her stuff and is very passionate about sharing her love of art and fashion. She sent us a follow up email with all of the names of the boutiques we visited and other names of suggested places in neighborhoods we didn’t have time to see. A wonderful 3 hours with her! My daughter and I had the most wonderful experience with Luciana. I booked a private walking tour of Covent Garden, Seven Dials and Soho with Luciano, asking her to specifically focus on an exploration of vintage / thrift clothing shops and vinyl records. These two areas are of great interest to my daughter and the trip to London from South Africa was her 18th birthday present! We toured the V&A Museum with her, and her absolute love for the museum was evident every step of the way. First, in general, this experience made me realize how much I've missed out on previous trips by not hiring a local guide. I know now, hiring a local guide, is perhaps the most important thing you can do for a trip second to arranging the actual travel. This was the best experience I've ever had on a trip, largely because of what I was able to experience and learn at the direction of a local expert. Second, with regards to Luciana, she was amazing. I hire another excellent tour guide a few days later in Paris, and while she was indeed excellent, Luciana was exceptional, and my experience in Paris helped provide the context to further validate my feelings. Amazing. You will not regret. Best decision I've ever made on a trip

Luciana hosted a personalized tour with our group of four of us in the heart of London for three hours. We went to Covent Garden, Seven Dials, Soho, Chinatown, St James and partially Mayfair. Luciana ist not only very well educated and explains historical events of sights perfectly, but knows so many secret and exciting places within those districts. Those were shops of all kind, places/parks and cultural landmarks. This makes Luciana special. We never would have found those ourselver nor kind you find those in standard tourist guides. Everywhere we stopped Luciana told us the story behind. Really great. Above that Luciana is a lovely young woman and detailed oriented person. Any preferences you have are considered. My daughter and son and I had a perfect first day in London touring with a Luciana!! We had just arrived in London at 10 AM from the US and had booked a 4 o’clock tour. She took great care of us and showed us lots of sites and gave us just the right amount of information on each of the sights we were seeing. She showed us lots of hidden gems and areas to get away from the crowds and enjoy some beautiful gardens and peace and quiet. I've been to London many times but this is the first time I've hired a guide. Instead of picking one off the street I decided to find a real pro through online search and reviews. I needed someone with knowledge of fashion and an intricate knowledge of London's shopping districts. Luciana checked all the boxes. Her reviews were strong, so I was optimistic. She was warm, enthusiastic and a real expert. My niece wanted "retail therapy" and boy did she get it.
