It was great to see and hear about parts of Berlin we wouldn't normally have experienced on a big tour. Lee was interesting and informative and was happy to answer our questions. Juan has lots of knowledge and history of Berlin and shared in an entertaining way. We visited 4 different Christmas markets along the way. The tastings were not the expected result- one pretzel, one beer, one hot drink and one bratwurst and shared berliner…. Not what a sampler tasting of 6 would suggest for the price of 95 euros a person.Great knowledge but lacked value

Heerlijke wandel tocht gemaakt met Urgur (en zijn 12 jarige dochter). Begonnen bij Anne Frank museum om een indruk te krigen van de vele streetartists hun manier van communiceren. Duurzaam, effectief en heel inspirerend. Uygur's dochter wist de artisten op de muur tussen al die duizenden afbeeldingen feillos aan te wijzen ! Jmmy C, maar ook Mimi the Cat. Het museum is aan te bevelen, weggestopt in een steegje. Zegt dat wat? Vandaar op ons verzoek naar Kreuzberg, daar waar UYGUR als (voormalig?) bewoner veel van wist. Het " little Istanbul" , waar Engels en Turks de voortaal zijn. Veel geschiedenis en een wijk nog steeds in beweging. Wilt u een ander beeld krijgen van Berlijn, doe deze wijk aan. Een rondleiding met gevoel en empathie. Berlin, city of many faces

Michele toured us on the hottest June day in Berlin… without wilting! She brought history to life, put the aftermath of WWII into a humanistic perspective, and mixed history with contemporary Berlin. I was traveling with my elderly husband, who is 90 years old and he has some energy and mobility issues. We booked Michèle through a word-of-mouth suggestion and it was a great call. Michèle was exactly the right blend of knowledgable, relaxed and helpful. She didn't rush, she listened to our needs and preferences and tailored our tour so well. It was much more like being with a friend than a "tour guide". Not knowing Berlin really at all we were slightly apprehensive at the prospect of biking in a big city, but it was perfect - most of the tour is not on busy streets, and even the busier bits were relatively calm. Lee was very knowledgable and generous with his time. We took the kick start tour and off-the-beaten-track. Lee was excellent in introducing us to some of the main aspects of the modern history or Berlin. A really friendly and engaging style using historical photos to compare what we saw on the tour with pre the wall coming down. Our first time in Berlin and we were keen to spend sometime with a local to get an overview of Berlin and some thoughts of things to do / see, Lee was really informative, our only regret was we hadn’t booked a longer tour. We had just a short window of time in Berlin with two friends who had never visited before, and I was so happy to find Michele to give us this quick tour of some of the highlights. She was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with, like running into a super cool opera singer friend in Berlin! Having spent quite a bit of time in Berlin myself in the past, I thought her route and highlights and explanations were a great mix of old and new, history and what’s happening currently in Berlin.
