Sandiana is an enthusiastic, funny, knowledgeable guide – she was the best tour guide we had in our 3 weeks of travelling throughout Europe! This tour was a combination tour of old town plus a food tour. For the food tour, she brought samples of local treats and beverages and explained the story behind each treat. The tour also features a stop at a local lunch spot to sample other local foods. As it turns out, we had eaten dinner the previous night at the restaurant she chose, but Sandiana was a wealth of knowledge of other sites and shops that we should try while in Lucerne – all of her suggestions were outstanding. Fun, customized insider tour!!!!

Sandi was so knowledgeable and friendly. She taught us so much about the history of Switzerland and Lucerne and also gave us many recommendations for local restaurants and shops. 2 hours passed so quickly! We could have spent all day with her. Sandi was amazing!

Our Viking Host, Sandiana, was exceptional. She was so friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. I especially appreciated her help with the hotel when there was a problem with our room.
