Giedre walked us through magnificent traditional tastes of Paris! We even walked away with a few additional snacks. Afterwards, she provided a useful list of recommendations which we used for walking, dining, and shopping. Best advise is to book her at the beginning of your trip so you have time to utilize her recommendations. Beyond awesome!

Iza was just a wonderful guide as she showed us around her city. We stopped at local food shops and learned the history about the croissants, cheese, macaroons and other foods we enjoyed. Overall, the tour was okay. We did the Kickstart to culinary Paris. We walked for about 20 minutes down Rue de Honare which is the luxury shopping street. Interesting, yet not why we were there and I don't care so much for fashion and designer stores, which we talked about for the 20 minute walk. During this 20 minutes, there were also no food stops, just to find out the first place was closed. I would have assumed the guide would know this in advance. During the tour, we stopped at only 3 places. First was Laduree, then a pastry shop, then charcuterie. so I was also expecting more stops, not many times at one stop. I would be unlikely to use this company again based off my experience. Not exactly what I expected

Our first trip to Paris was unforgettable, thanks to Alexia! She gave us the perfect mix of history, culture, food, and fun. From Notre Dame and the Marais to Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower. Along the way, she introduced us to amazing local treats like Maison Georges Larnicol, Ladurée, and Les Merveilleux de Fred. We also stopped for shopping along the way and having Alexia with us for language assistance made it much easier. What really stood out was Alexia’s knowledge and passion. Every stop had a story, and she made the city come alive with details we never would have found on our own. She balanced sightseeing with hidden gems and gave us time to soak in each moment, whether it was strolling through a garden, enjoying lunch in Montmartre, or taking in the rooftop view at Galeries Lafayette. She knew which shops to go into and which to avoid. This was helpful in the pastry shops! She also helped us navigate the city and the different arrondissements. We never had to look at our phones for directions! Even more, she felt more like a friend than just a guide- warm, thoughtful, and fun to spend time with. We recently enjoyed a private tasting tour in Paris with our guide Andrea, and he was truly fantastic. He was personable, very knowledgeable, and we really appreciated his insights and friendly approach. Our time with him was enjoyable and engaging. However, the tour itself did not quite meet our expectations. I had purchased a 3-hour tasting tour that promised 10 tastings across Paris. While the experience started well with a quick bite at a local bakery, the focus quickly shifted to a history tour, and the next tasting didn't come until almost two hours later. Throughout the 3 hours, we only visited three places and sampled macarons, meats, cheeses, bread, and crepes. We were hoping for a more food-centric experience, with more tastings and less emphasis on walking and history. It would have been better clarified if the tour was advertised as a history walk with food stops, rather than a pure food tasting tour. Our kids also felt disappointed with the structure, expecting more emphasis on food. Overall, Andrea made the experience memorable, but the tour content did not fully align with what was promised or expected. We still enjoyed our time in Paris and appreciated Andrea’s company.Great guide, tour was not as expected

We loved our relaxing morning stroll with Alexia. She made us feel very comfortable and was super friendly. it was easy to find the meeting spot. We visited a shop to get ice cream and macrons, enjoyed viewing gardens and notable houses as well as St. Peter church and Village de St.Paul. She catered the tour to our requests and ended by taking us to Notre Dame area and gave us directions of how to best get to our next activity. We could not have seen as much without her help. 10/10 Highly recommend!Relaxing Stroll through Le Marais

We had a Pastry Tour with Andrea. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and also really tailored the tour to what we wanted to taste but also had a plan for some really delicious items he wanted us to taste. Thank you for a great tour and lots of interesting food. We had a group including a 10yr old, a teenager and young adults and Alexia kept everyone engaged well. There was plenty of food and a good mixture of sweet and savoury. It was fun to have flavour choices along the way too. We booked over lunch time so that we had room to eat comfortably and that worked really well. Lots of small different flavours meant that no one was left hungry. The macarons and quiche were amazing, my favourite though was the little orange pastry at end in the chocolate shop. Great tour and food

Alexia is the best choice for experiencing the "real" Paris. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and main attractions, but most of all, she truly loves her city. She showed me places I would have never discovered on my own. She took me to spots with amazing food and shared a list of her favourite restaurants so I’d know where to go for the rest of my trip. Paul was a delight to have as a tour guide. He was friendly, personable, and showed us areas that we would not have typically gone to. The Aligre neighborhood was lovely to walk through with its charming alleys and squares. Paul shared some historical points about the architecture, the design of the Boulangerie, and of local artists, including Invader. We enjoyed some typical French casual foods such as Macarons, Tarte aux noix, pain au chocolat, croque monsieur à 3 fromages, galettes (the best crêpes ever were the savory galettes by the marché), ciders, wine, a charcuterie board, and wonderful Falafel. The covered marché was unfortunately closing when were there, but we enjoyed walking through it and hearing about its history none the less. After the tour was over, he walked us past the opera and gave us directions for a stroll along the Seine. What a fun evening and delightful company.Great food in less traveled areas

Andrea did a wonderful job with my three hour casual walking tour around Notre Dame, St. Chapelle, and the Latin quarter. It was a wonderful “conversation” versus a “lecture.” The tour really helped me get acclimated to the area. He had great historical stories about the many leaders of Paris and France. I loved the story about St. Genevieve and walking through Luxembourg Park! Highly recommend Andrea! Great local and historical insight!

Alexia was magnificent. The pace, selections and the path that we traveled to take in nearly the entire area was perfectly orchestrated and exceptionally well thought-out. We enjoyed her company and she was able to cater to taste and make the tour exactly what would appeal to each in our party from age 16-62. A truly wonderful experience that I will recommend to many, even if you’ve visited the area before which we had, Alexia put her unique flair and perspective on the walk that make it more than we were expecting. We travel all over the world, and we hire a private tour guide in every city (Barcelona, Dublin, Rome, Florence, London, Prague, Krakow, etc) - this is the only way to learn everything in a short period of time, and we love our tours. This was our most disappointing experience. It is possible that Andrea is more of a food guide than a city/history guide, but our Paris Hidden Gems history tour was disorganized, not as informative as we are used to, and overall, a waste of our time in Paris. We asked for a custom tour to start in reverse of the normal tours and reached out ahead of time to plan the itinerary. Our questions were ignored until he finally said we would just sort things out when we met. Like other reviews mention, things were disjointed. It was a "we could do this" or "that". When we expressed not wanting to walk along the river because we had just taken a river cruise that morning, there was a lot of "we will just do it for a few minutes" and then 1.5 miles later we were still walking the river seeing nothing new. When we asked to shift things during the tour, we were met with veiled insults about how we should have "used this thing called our phone" to have pre-planned what we wanted to do ourselves. We asked for a sit down break and the included drink for our older ladies travelling with us (late 60s), and it was a lot of "yes in just a few minutes" that never materialized, even after another mile of walking. On top of this, the actual tour did not contain much information. Even our kids (11, 16, 16 and 17) found his depth of knowledge lacking on key sights, and we even had to correct a few things that we had freshly learned on our river boat tour. Walks between sights were mostly quiet with no additional information sharing. My mom who is a travel agent and has also taken many tours told me she was ready to ditch us and go off on her own until we were done because it was so bad. We ended the tour early after the insults became too much. At which time he called us infantile and rude and stormed off. All 7 of the people in the group were relieved to be done with him. No, I would not recommend him.Disappointing is an understatement

Anukool helped us get the most out of our time in Paris. Our group spent 6 hours him during which time he showed us major historical sites, lesser known attractions, and some hidden gems of Paris. I was in Paris for 17 days and my day with Nella was one of my favorites. I had never been to Montmarte and she made it so special, unique and definitely local! No tourists traps! Her beautiful descriptions as an artist about the life of Van Goth and Picasso during their time in the village was so enlightening and entertaining. She was easy to be with and just a lovely person.
