This experience was absolutely incredible – the perfect way to begin our trip to Seville! From the moment we met our guide, Jose Andres, we felt like we were being welcomed by an old friend. His passion for the city, deep food knowledge, and warm storytelling made this tour both delicious and meaningful. The food stops were thoughtfully chosen and packed with local flavor – from the fresh scallops and squid tapas to the mouthwatering pork jaw, every bite was a taste of authentic Andalusian culture. We loved Elena! She is so warm, professional and deeply knowledgeable about her home town. We had such an amazing time that we booked her again for the following day! Seamlessly integrating information about history, culture, and food, she deeply enriched our visit to Sevilla. We learned and experienced things that we would never have had access to otherwise — for example, a bar steeped in the history of flamenco as a form of artistic resistance that served an exclusive variety of orange wine and a fantastic dish of pork prepared in an Arabian style. Everywhere we went we were warmly welcomed because we were with her. We did not encounter tourists or other guides at any of our food stops. Elena was also very generous with recommendations and answers to our questions beyond the time that we spent with her. Elena was a total pleasure to spend time with and she has my highest recommendation.Elena is phenomenal

This isn't our first with locals food tour, but it is the best! Clara was so informative, easy to talk with and she seemed to really enjoy what she was doing. Clara met us as planned, we walked along the cathedral then through the this beautiful old space with the wall and where the offices of the church were located. The food selections were varied and selected with our input. We had Sangria, two amazing tapas at Antonio Ramero's The Piripi is superb! We walked down the street a block or so then headed into a very old establishment that specialized in charcuterie so of course we had pata negra and tuna, then our final stop was Restaurante El Atun delicious tapas of chickpeas and spinach and a pork cheek stew with red wine. We had so much fun with Clara I hated to see our time end. Fabulous Experience

We asked Clara to just introduce us to local tapas as we had eaten ham etc on other visits to Spain. She did just that taking us to traditional venues used mainly by locals. We opted for a private tour and this meant we got to experience all of Clara's excellent knowledge both of Seville and also for a trip to Cadiz. We gained valuable insight early in the trip which allowed us to better enjoy Seville. It was a brilliant and educational welcome to Seville. We were hoping for a tour a little off the beaten track, visiting places we wouldn’t know were there let alone visit. We wanted to taste some real local tapas and drink. Incredible experience with Jose. You get to experience where locals go, what they order, and how they eat it. and you get recommendations for things to do and where to eat for your entire trip. The path forward is wherever the vibe of the night takes you. Jose is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and funny. I can’t imagine having come here without this experience. I never would have had the opportunity to experience the Romería de El Rocío without him telling me about it and even offering to go with me (we did the next day and it was beautiful). Can’t recommend enough. ever wanted to travel like Bourdain?

We actually booked the food tour with Clara but when she cancelled Jose stood in at short notice - but this was no second best. Jose is a true character, provided us with a huge amount of information about the city, the surrounding areas, the food and drink, and more besides. We sampled manzanilla sherry, several amazing wines, wild boar, vintage manchego, potato salad with tuna, menudo, scallops and cod nuggets marinated in vinegar and deep fried. This was a brilliant tour and host. I would recommend to anyone with open mind and palette!Food and much more

Five stars for Jose and his amazing Seville food tour and excursion to Ronda! We had a fantastic time exploring the city with him as our guide. Not only did we taste some incredible local food and wine (seriously, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!), but Jose also pointed out all the cool historical streets, shops, buildings, and even told us about the upcoming Holy Week activities. It felt like we were getting the real Seville experience, not just the touristy stuff. But the fun didn't stop there! The day trip to Ronda with Jose was the highlight of our entire trip to Spain. We ate delicious food again (shocker, right?), explored fascinating historical sites, and just had a genuinely lovely time. Jose is a wealth of knowledge and made everything so interesting. We can't wait to go back to Seville someday, and now we even have a new friend there in Jose. If you're looking for a fantastic food tour or an excursion guide, look no further! Jose was really great. Even though we had been in Seville for weeks prior, he still showed us new areas, amazing restaurants, and ordered fabulous tapas. His knowledge about everything Seville (especially food) is vast. Jose provided a marvelous food tour of Seville! He was very communicative ahead of our visit and made sure to customize our tour to our preferences, including our kids (ages 12, 10 and 7). He has a wealth of knowledge and took us to a mix of places both in the touristy area and in a local neighborhood. The culinary tasting tour with Elena was great. The experience of a private tour but with someone who is patient, knowledgeable, pleasant and wanting to share more information and tapas and a slight detour to an incredible church made us feel this was the best food tour we've been on. Samuel was a fantastic guide! Communication beforehand was great, and his passion for Seville’s history really shone through. He took us to hidden spots and rooftops we’d never have found ourselves, which made the tour feel really special. Jose Andres was a wonderful guide. Very attentive to our dietary restrictions and informative. As he walked us through the different neighborhoods he pointed out different local shops and restaurants highlighting what they were best known for. He was funny and kept us and our daughters engaged from the moment we met up with him. Along the way, he even offered assistance to others who were looking for direction or places to eat.
