Sandy's was great. We were on a tight schedule so she brought us to a number of great stops to savor schnitzel, boiled/pulled beef sandwiches, an array of pastries and coffees, and kaiserschmarrn. All were fantastic and we enjoyed the history of the restaurants as well as Vienna.Enjoyed Vienna

Susanne war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Lokale gezeigt und interessante Facts zu den Orten oder Wien erzählt. Die ersten beiden Stops waren auch super. Allerdings haben wir dann beim zweiten Stop recht lange gebraucht, sodass wir nach hinten raus zu wenig Zeit hatten, um noch etwas anständiges zu essen. Der dritte Stop war dann in einem Pralinenladen und der letzte ein Café zum Bier trinken. Es war also relativ wenig Essen bei der Tour und das letzte Café wirkte eher zufällig gewählt. Laut Beschreibung hätte es 6x Essen/Trinken geben sollen. Wir sind aber somit nur auf 4 Stops gekommen. Wir kennen das so anders von anderen Foodtouren, vor allem für diesen Preis.Gut, aber zu wenig Foodstops

This tour with Susanne is great in several key ways. One of our group members had a gluten allergy, and Susanne was empathetic and helpful to provide suggestions and alternatives; I think this was the biggest reason we had such a positive experience. Our group of four loves to learn about history, and so we enjoyed seeing the sights between each food stop and learning about them, as well as understanding the current and historical context behind the food we ate. There were more stops with smaller amounts of food, which I think was a good way to experience many different culinary environments. We still had time to linger at each place, so we did not feel like we were in a hurry. Susanne was a personable and friendly person to follow. Some tour guides seem like they're reciting a script or working on "auto-pilot," but with Susanne, conversation flowed naturally all while she led us through Innere Stadt. We felt comfortable with her, and I strongly recommend this tour with her!An inclusive and educational experience!

Unfortunately, this was a very poor tour and a complete waste of time and money. Virtually nothing that was listed in the tour web page was done, and only the most minimal information was provided on Vienna history, food, and coffee. Although Sandy was a pleasant person she spent most of her time asking us about ourselves rather than giving us insights into Vienna or its culinary highlights and tradition. Not a food tour or tour of any sort really

I highly recommend the Culinary Kickstart tour with Sandy. She is super friendly. We felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. She took into account the dietary restrictions and was very accommodating. We loved seeing Vienna through her eyes. We tried lots of different savory and sweet dishes. Wir hatten eine schöne Stadtführung. Ingrid ist sehr nett und wir haben gute Informationen über die Stadtgeschichte erhalten. Leider ist aus unserer Sicht die Food Tour etwas untergegangen. Bei Buchung wurden 6 Kostproben online versprochen. Erhalten haben wir 3 verschiedene Kostproben und ein Getränk (ein traditionelle Brot-Schnitte, eine Wurst und einen Kuchen) Hier hätte ich mir mehr erwartet wenn ich eine Tour unter dem Titel “Culinary Kickstart Tour: Vienna” buche. In der Konditorei sollten wir uns je ein Stück Torte aussuchen, dies haben wir in einer Take Away Box mitbekommen und sollten dann unsere Torte bei - 4 Grad irgendwo im Stehen auf der Straße essen. Das war leider kein schönes Ende der Tour. Hier hätte ein Tisch im Café reserviert werden müssen oder alternativ eine Kostprobe auf die Hand zum schnellen essen.

We met Ingrid for a food/ history tour of Vienna. She asked us at the start if we wanted more history or more food - we said a bit of both. Ingrid was very knowledgable about all the monuments and pointed out lots of things that we wouldn’t have spotted by ourselves. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot more than we imagined. Wow, what a great time experiencing Vienna! Anita met us on time and took us through the history of the Hapsburgs, Vienna while moving through the streets, and the Schönbrunn Palace. She had a solid grasp of the history and did a great job retelling it to us. Along the way we even were able try Punschkrapfen (punch cakes) and Vienna sausages. Anita answered any questions we had, thoroughly and happily. Want to know about the hare on the top of the sausage shop. Anita will tell you all about it. This was our second time in Vienna and having toured the main sites last year, we decided to explore the city via a food tour. It turned out to be great decision as Susanne gave us a brand new introduction to Vienna. This was far more than a food and drink tasting tour. Suzanne really brings to life the downtown city with her local knowledge, finding gems while being flexible to fit our interests. She is very friendly and a wonderful host. I will say the tour description is a little deceptive, suggesting 10 tastings. We ended up visiting six places (ice cream, wine tasting, polish sandwiches, Viennese coffee with Apfel strudel, an amazing specialty chocolate shop and some street sausages. For two people, the price seemed a little much. Perhaps a small adjustment for the smaller amount of food/drink consumed would make sense for only two people.Relaxing food tasting experience

Susanne gave us a wonderful uniquely tailored tour for our small group. I contacted Susanne about an evening tour because we didn’t like the tour our river cruise was offering—but we wanted to visit Vienna at night. We (my wife my 19 yr old gdaughter and myself (age 83) met with Anita on time outside Domm Museum at 11 We then spent an rxciting and interesting 5 hrs being shown round Vienna historical sights by Anita an experienced and knowledgable guide who gave us a historical and contemporary view of Vienna and Austris as well as the Happsburg empire We stopped 2 or 3 times for a coffee but the time went quickly and we covered a lot of steps We 3 went home exhausted and exhilirated Thank you Anita An outstanding day with Anita in Bienna

Hiring Roxanne to show us around Vienna was a wonderful decision. Roxanne tailored our walking tour of Vienna to our family’s needs (some physical limitations). She also was very willing, accommodating, and flexible to find a driver that could drive us since we had someone on our tour with limited walking capabilities.
