Jorge was disorganized with no preplanning and unsure where to start and we went to visit the inside of the train station(beautiful) and where there was a lovely bar - but we didn't taste a beer. We then went to the ONLY brewery open on a Monday (try and avoid Mondays), 4 tram stops away and tasted our 1st beer after an hour.(lovely brewery) He ordered non local beers and disregarded our taste preferences.
We then went 4 tram stops back to the city, to a bar to taste the 2nd beer then that was the tour. For budget priced tourists this could prove expensive as Jorge orders the beers without price consultation.Beer Tasting in Antwerp

We had a nice beer tour with Jorge. We were very late in booking the tour but he managed to squeeze us in in bars and ordered a lot of different beers. Nice beer tour!

Jorge ist ein prima Spezialist für eine Biertour durch Antwerpen. Er hat uns an Orte geführt, die uns super gefallen haben. Er hat genau unseren Geschmack getroffen. Awesome experience well worth the money. We are home wine/beer makers back in America and wanted a unique experience for all type of beer tastes. Jorge not only was knowledgeable on the brewing process, local beers, and local hot spots; he was able to answer any question about architecture, history, and culture in Antwerp. Jorge is a really fun and knowledgable host. He picked us up right after our tour at De Koninck museum, where we shared our first beer, and afterwards we went bar hopping. He certainly knows where the great bars are in the city, and has a really good idea on what to order.

Jorge is a true beer lover and fountain of information. This was our first "With Locals" experience and we were a little hesitant about the whole one on one with a person we'd never met, but Jorge made us feel like old friends from the first friendly hello at the train station in Antwerp, to the final drop of beer. We loved the choice of locations, and the selection of unique beers. Jorge was not only a gracious and friendly host, but very knowledgeable about the brewing industry and beer in general. His passion is obvious.
If you are in Antwerp and love beer (and who in Belgium doesn't) treat yourself to an evening with Jorge! You will love it!

Jorge is such a welcoming and flexible person!
He took us - a big group of 6 people - around the city of Antwerp and shared his knowledge of the city with us. Riding the tram as a group, eating together and tasting beer was a wonderful experience that gave us a insight of the local Belgian lifestyle. Although Jorge is not Belgian born he submerged himself in the culture and city of Antwerp and can pin point the bars and beers according to your taste, but prepare your stomach space because Belgian beers are sure to fill you up!Beer tasting in 3 languages

Jorge ci ha accolto come un amico di famiglia, è bravo ad adeguare il suo giro alle richieste del gruppo che segue. Il suo stile di accompagnamento adopera volentieri delle domande e per questo motivo risulta coinvolgente. Food tours have become my favorite way to get to know a new city. Strolling through Antwerp with Jorge was just like meeting a friend eager to show off his hometown. We learned a lot about the history/culture of the area while pausing to enjoy great food. Our questions were always welcomed and answered. Food Tours Are the BESY!

We had a great few hours with Jorge. He was knowledgeable and thorough.
I think the address we were provided with was incorrect so finding the meeting place was a challenge but we found him in the end.
We really liked Jorge and the things he told us about Antwerp and the reason our score wasn't higher was due to the cost of the tour Vs the things we ate! Just below €200 seemed a expensive. The price could maybe be kept lower if relationships were developed with the sellers and shops.
We loved the hersensaus, kalfsrol and bread! The pikant Anvers was delicious too.
During the tour we passed a few things that Jorge told us we could revisit (a cool looking gin bar being one) and we would loved to have gone in and tried this.
It might be a good idea to suggest people bring water with them as there was quite a large amount of time between the coffee and the beer and this was the time you would eating the most!
Overall the experience was great and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Antwerp. Hersensaus & pikant Anvers!
