Het was heel leuk om met TK op stap te gaan. Naast de heerlijke Food tour, nam hij ons ook mee naar een feest van het Chinese nieuwjaar, dit was voor ons een extra inkijkje in de cultuur, wat wij erg leuk vonden. Verder gaf TK ons nog allerlei andere interessante tips. TK weet veel over het eten en welke plaatselijke dingen je echt moet hebben geproefd. Dank je wel, TK!Het was geweldig!

I was surprised to find out at the beginning of the food tour that it was snack food only which I wasn’t aware if. . We tried a variety of small foods, but had to buy our own dinner. We found our guide to be friendly enough, but also a bit distracted by his phone during the tour.Not what I expected

Even prior to the meeting Siddoz was very prompt with messages and tailored the tour as per our needs. This was my third visit to Malaysia and I think I knew most about Malaysian food. However within the first 2 dishes quickly proved me wrong. We went from stall to stall - each hand picked for what it was great at - and we got to try some great dishes from the differnt ethnic groups that make up the Malaysian population. Would definitely recommend this guide. Great intro to malaysian food.

Faris is a great guide . Very knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed our evening and the good food. Had a good laugh about getting soaked in the rain too; I’d advise others to check the forecast and buy a good poncho if the weather is going to be rainy. Awesome tour

We picked TK as our KL guide and we couldn't be more please. Initially we had booked him for a food tour but we were looking for a one day tour including Batu Caves and quick peeks at the hot spots of KL. He did not disappoint and really gave us a nice all encompassing overview of the city/culture/food. TK clearly has a passion for all things Malaysia. He's an energetic/dynamic/funny guide and we had a blast spending the day with him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family travelling to KL. We (2 people) did the Tour "A taste of Kuala Lumpur" with Siddoz. We met punctually at 5:30 h at Molten Chocolate Cafe, where we started a very nice food tasting tour. I recommend it for all visitors who want to experience the local food, but do not feel confident enough to choose the dishes at the small restaurants and kiosks along the street market. We tried various dishes in the Jalan Along Night market and the surrounding area and Siddoz explained always, what were the ingredients or how to eat the dish. Faris was amazing. We ate a lot more than what was advertised. Faris took us on a multicultural journey of food through all of the ethnicities of Malaysia. We even tried some hard to find snacks and ended up with some great recommendations to which we tried the next day. TK was amazing from beginning to end. He brought us to try so many different foods and flavors that are local to the area. While walking between each food spot, he would give tidbits in the culture, stop at photo spots, or point out additional delicious food spots for us to try on our own later. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone considering booking a food tour. There is simply no way to know, sample, and find all these food spots without a local guide who has tried them all! Best day ever!

Sadly, Siddoz fell ill and couldn’t show us around. He did offer a replacement in Fareez or postpone for a different day. We went with Fareez and had a great time. He showed off Chinese, Malay, and Indian foods. We enjoyed all the bites and appreciated his wit and charm. He offered us a bonus Malaysian hamburger which was unexpected and tasty. Die Tour mit TK war ein sehr schöner Einstieg in unsere SOA-Reise, beginnend in KL. Als Foodies waren wir bei TK goldrichtig, denn er hatte es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, aus der Fülle an Leckereien, die die Stadt zu bieten hat, die Snacks und Gerichte rauszusuchen, die eben nicht jeder kennt. Siddoz was not able to make it but was kind enough to send a substitute. Although I contacted him shortly before the tour he did not mention this, so I understand it might have been an emergency. Still, a message later would also be appreciated. Overall, communication before booking and also after booking and before the tour was expected to be better. Siddoz’s substitute gave a good tasting tour and maybe I should have chosen him from the beginning. Tastings were nice and we ate at places I wouldn’t dare to. In my opinion though, and judging from the prices I saw at the shops we stopped, this tour is overpriced.

We went on a food tour with Zack in Kuala Lumpur and it was amazing! He showed us all the best food spots in Bukit Bintang, and the kids loved it. Especially things like a big dim sum, unexpectedly nice tasting fish on a stick called otak otak and dosa with honey in a cone shape. The streets were bustling and it was a very lively atmosphere, definitely adding up to the experience. Zack was so knowledgeable and passionate about food, And he really made the kids part of the tour. This way he made our day! We had an amazing food tour yeaterday with host Zack in Kuala Lumpur. He really knew every foodspot and where to find the best ones. Our evening tour was located in bukit bintang and mainly centered around jalan alor. It was just great to sit in those typical food places or eatthe local street food at one of the many food stalls. Zack knew everything about it and served us tastings from the famous dim sum to the best Malay saté and delicious Nasi lomak. But also more exotic street food specialties like fish in leaves and a difficult to describe desert with coconut. The best thing was the atmosphere of the Malaysian food stalls in combination with the enthusiasm and stories from Zack. He really made our day! Thanks Zack!

Zack was very nice and I was thinking about what to write. We have been 10 minutes late but the trip was less than two hours. We expected more stories - to be honest…. Nothing to do with Zack but the food was not very interesting and neither the trip. We do not want to be unfair, because we did a Streetfood tour in Vietnam and you really cannot compare it. Maybe the other tour is nicer and offers better food. To be honest a little bit disappointing

We had a superb evening out, with a lot of delicious tastings. We started at Lot 10 with a quick savoury pork pastry snack and went on to sample the delicious Nasi Lemak on the food market close by. Our host was very entertaining and he gave us a lot of insights and information on life and of course food in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia. We went on to sample the sweeter treats like cendol and putu piring. Time just flew bay and excellent Indian dosa and roti with typical drinks rounded up our tour, leaving us happy and totally satisfied. Great tips for our next restaurant visits made the icing on the cake. We highly recommend the tour, a great way to learn about the diverse Malaysian culture and delicacies!Yummy and Entertaining!

Siddoz showed us around some top food spots in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with a taste of several dishes at each. It was a great introduction to the amazing food in Malaysia as well as having someone there to explain some of the history behind how different dishes and cultures came to be in Malaysia. Mike and I really enjoyed our evening with great company. It was also great to have a local with us to answer all our questions from why there is always a line outside a particular Kunafa shop to intricacies of local and national politics.
