We very much enjoyed our morning with Lucrezia. We started on time and right from the outset she was extremely friendly and personable. She is extremely knowledgeable and showed us exactly the things we asked to see. She even had a surprise visit to a location that she knew would be of interest. This was a great half day tour of some of the less visited areas of Venice. Lucrezia was very knowledgeable of the history and geography of the region and she has a great personality. From day one in communication with Lu, she went above and beyond to help answer questions and customize our time with her. In meeting her, we all immediately felt so at ease and comfortable. Our group was large (6) and ranged in age from 11 to 70 and she made all of us feel right at home. We saw so much of Venice and were so thankful for guidance as the maze of streets & canals was a lot sometimes! I wouldn’t hesitate to book Lu again and really am hoping I hade the chance to be back and book another tour with her! Lu is THE BEST!!

We’ve done local tour guide before and Lucrezia rates along with the top ones. My wife, 17 year-old grandson and I took an afternoon Rialto tour and following morning walk through Dorsoduro with Lu. She was so charming, pleasant, engaging and informative throughout both tours, both she and her knowledge were unfailingly fun to interact with and discuss. We had a fanatic tour with Lucrezia, it was very informal but was full of lots of interesting sights , the tour ended with a Gondolias trip across the grand canal. Lucrezia took as to a fantastic Gelato place and booked us a amazing restaurant. Both my children 13 and 6 had a wonderful time. Thank u Lucrezia Darren , Emily , Ashton and Noah. Lucrezia is a charming guide who took us (a party of three) on two interesting and varied walks around Venice in late March. She has a great way of imparting information about a location, building or character in an enthralling way:not just a list of facts or figures but a sense of the time and the people of La Serenissima . We certainly did not get bored in the 5.5 hours we spent with her. Would undoubtedly recommend her ! Fantastic guide!

This was our third trip to. Eunice and I thought we had seen all the highlights. Lucrezia definitely proved us wrong. So many highlights in the city that she took us to that we never knew were there. I spent the afternoon with Lucrezia and had the most amazing experience! Lu took me to places in Venice that I never would have discovered without her. She was so knowledgeable about the history, art and culture of the Floating City. Lu even gave me recommendations for several local restaurants and the best gelato in all of Venice! Loved this tour and Lucrezia! She was so kind and we learned so much history in a fun way! We were taken off the beaten path and did so much more than typical tourist things. We had made several excursions with Lucrezia and they have been all delightful. Lucrezia has the passion of Venice and you will learn not only about the big and small history of Venice, you will also learn about the Venetians, their lifes, their customs. Spending three hours with Lu was a really great way to spend the short time we had in Venice. She’s a local but like having a family member or good friend show you around. It was a hot day and we thought we might cut the tour short but the time truly flew by with Lu. We had a wonderful Kickstarter tour of Venice with Lu. My daughters (17 and 20) were not looking forward to a tour because they thought it would be boring, but they both enjoyed it. Lu did a great job of giving us great information, but not overwhelming us with details. She had pictures on her iPad to add more depth to the information she provided. We noticed things Lu had mentioned on our tour throughout our trip. She helped to making our trip to Venice more interesting. We did a tour with a different company the following day (Lu was not available) and we all wished Lu was doing the tour! She is a very gifted tour guide. In spite of having our visit shortened a bit by the cruise line as well as some rare summer showers, we had an excellent private tour. We otherwise would have been overwhelmed by a one-day visit but Lucrezia knows the city very well and we were able to negotiate the summer crowds easily. Lu was exceptional. Her knowledge was only surpassed by her demeanor. She was super cool, laid back and very easy to talk to. Lucrezia was an amazing, professional and expert tour guide. She greeted us like old friends at the meeting point which created a lovely atmosphere for the tour as we took in the wonderful sights, culture, history and architecture of Venice. On return to our hotel we were delighted to receive a text from Lucrezia with recommendations for restaurants, pastry shops away from the usual tourists spots. Our family of six took this tour on the day the rest of the party arrived. We have often found this a great way to beat jetlag and this kept everyone on their feet but also happily engaged.
