Karmen led our family on a 1.5 hour walking tour through the Old Town Dubrovnik. We have 3 young kids (10 year old twins and a 6 year old very energetic kiddo!) and she kept them engaged and happily answered their MANY questions!!! She was full of fun details about the city’s history and gave the adults fun facts about where Game of Thrones was filmed. She paid special attention to the hot weather, finding shade everywhere we stopped. Her recommendations for ice cream and pizza were on point!! This was a fantastic tour hosted by Karmen, such a good intro to Dubrovnik and the city. Karmen was incredible with our kids 9 and 11, she included them and kept them engaged. Karmen was a wonderful guide for our first experience in Dubrovnik! We had our 9 & 12 year olds with us and she was thoughtful in explaining the history of various buildings, areas, etc. with enough detail for us but also engaging for the kids. She took us to a local gelato shop midway through the tour (her treat) and at the end provided wonderful suggestions for the best of restaurants and shops. Fun way to learn about the city’s history

Karmen gave us a wonderful introduction to Dubrovnik perfectly tailored to children, and made sure I could bring the stroller for my youngest. Although my two girls were incredibly shy and didn't talk the whole time, all Karmen's commentary all went in and they were captivated. I have been amused to hear from my daughter's teacher that when she went back to school she educated her whole class on the history of Dubrovnik, the Saint, why there are cats etc. The school were impressed and I said it was our fantastic tour guide! Karmen also took us into a fun Christmas shop, and to a handful of other stops including a great craft beer bar that made my husbands day, and also gave us great advice. Thank you Karmen for doing one final tour for us at the end of your season.Fantastic - We highly recommend Karmen

Eliana was very friendly and welcoming of our family of 5 for the kid-friendly tour. She walked us through the old town, with interesting facts and stories about ancient and recent history of the region. She did miss the mark on the ‘kid-friendly’ aspect however. I had provided the ages of our 3 children (11, 13, 14) in advance. She did not engage them much at all, there was minimal age appropriate content. She gave them a colouring book more suitable for a 5 year old. I think their favourite thing was the ice cream at the end, which we could easily have obtained on our own. We had a brilliant time with Karmen today! Even though our kids (12, 10 and 7) put on a good show of being sleepy and weary, she brought them to life gradually with her kindness and fun personality. My daughter compared her to Mary Poppins 😂 We learned so much about the city, without it being boring, and she happily accommodated other places we were keen to see - her flexibility was also appreciated when we had to rearrange the tour due to sickness. Karmen was such a wonderful guide! She met us by a fountain on one side of the city, then guided our family through, pausing for interesting stories and unique finds. We loved that we were able to customize the tour more for our needs—traveling with a 5-year-old and a (hungry!) 1-year-old. She was even understanding as our toddler had a market side meltdown, suddenly starving… and laughed as he downed an entire carton of strawberries. Dubrovnik’s Old Town is a quaint and charming plus, but is buzzing with activity during the day. Karmen did a wonderful job navigating us away from the busy streets into the more tucked away quieter areas that really show the flavor of Dubrovnik. Despite it being so hot out, she kept our family engaged and informed walking through the shady lanes of the Old Town!Charming Old Town tour!

This tour was perfect for us. We are travelling with 2 little children (5 & 1), so this private family friendly tour was the perfect way for our little family to see Dubrovnik old town. Karmen was very patient and engaging with our kids, and our 5 year old is still talking about how much he enjoyed the tour. The tour was very informative and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Karmen is the best guide ever !! We were travelling with children and she was such a patient person. She explained everything and showed us very interesting spots. Thanks to her, we returnet to the hotel by taxy boat ....what a wonderful journey. She is very funny and it seems that you have the whole day with her as she never rushes you. At the end of the tour, she was very kind and took us to a local wine shop and recommended a wonderful local red wine. We also apprecciated the map she gave us with all the main restaurants and nice spot at old town. we had a wonderful time and if we return to dubrovnik, i am sure that we will look for Karmen as our guide.THE BEST !!

We had the most memorable experience on our private family tour of Dubrovnik’s old town. Karmen is full of knowledge and was excellent in keeping all the kids entertained and engaged for the whole 2 hours. Eliana was the perfect guide for our family. She is extremely knowledgeable and great with kids. We arrived late (give yourself AT LEAST 30 minutes extra to find parking in Dubrovnik!) and she still gave us the full tour experience. You can tell she is passionate about the city's history and we walked away with a much better understanding and appreciation for what Croatia has been through historically, right up until the early 1990s. We had the best local tour of Dubrovnik with Karmen! We arrived at the tour on a rainy afternoon with our two kids (8 and 11), who were a bit tired from traveling in that morning. Karmen was quick to engage them, offering to change up the schedule to get them a sweet treat early. Just what we needed for our short stay in the old town. Karmen was absolutely wonderful, patient with my 7 year old and kept the tour completely tailored for what we needed. It was so much fun, she went above and beyond and left us at an amazing swimming spot, and gave us loads of recommendations for places to eat and things to see all Over Croatia for our trip. Karmen did a custom family friendly tour for our young children and we really appreciated it. She is kind and attentive. She took care of our 4 and 5 year old and showed them the fun side of Dubrovnik for kids - the explorer a little jail, had gelato at a favorite locals spot, and had fun asking her questions. Eliana was so patient with our grumpy four year old, adapting the itinerary to work with her moods, and she managed to pack lots of interesting information into a short tour. She also opened doors for us to experiences we wouldn't have been able to have on our own, like getting us permission to briefly venture onto the walls (without the eye-watering ticket prices, or two hour circuit in full sun with young kids). Karmen was absolutely lovely and gave us and our two boys (8 and 6) the most wonderful tour of Dubrovnik. She was super engaging with the kids, especially our 8 year old who seems to be going on 13….
