Die Führung war ziemlich teuer, aber Romy war großartig! Sie kennt Paris, seine verschiedenen Viertel, Straßen und die Geschichte dazu. Dabei hat sie sich sehr auf uns und insbesondere auf unsere 10jährige Tochter eingestellt - und ein super-leckeres Eis auf dem Weg gab es auch noch. Romy hat uns viele Empfehlungen und Tipps gegeben. Da das Wetter am Vormittag schlecht war, hat sie uns nicht nur angeboten, die Führung auf den Nachmittag zu verschieben, sondern hat uns auch noch Vorschläge für den verregneten Vormittag gemacht. We had a wonderful time with Cimet. She is very friendly with a good knowledge of both historical and modern points of interest. A highlight of our tour was seeing the etching of Arthur Rimbaud's poem "Le Bateau Ivre" carved into a wall along the street. Cimet was leisurely, not rushing us, allowing us to take it all in. We strolled through a "bracante" checking out the antiques, visited St. Sulpice and the Luxembourg Gardens and ended up at Les Deux Magots for lunch. I was touched that Cimet asked the waiter to place us in the seats where Simone de Beauvoir sat with Jean Paul Sartre so many years ago. We had a lovely walking tour of Montmartre with Olivia on a blustery September day. She was warm and genuine, very easy to talk to and full of information about the neighborhood including history and tips on places to eat, hear live music, get good coffee, etc. She showed us some of the major sights of the neighborhood including the house where Van Gogh lived, the Bateau Lavoir where Picasso had a studio, the beautiful 12th century church Saint-Pierre de Montmartre, and of course Sacré Coeur. Wow ! We had an amazing time with Ali today ! We were on a 12 hour layover and we hit the ground running. Ali is beyond amazing with detail - guiding us on what train to catch into the city, where to grab a fabulous French breakfast, and where to meet him to start our sightseeing ! We travelled the city by foot and train! Although this was our third trip to Paris, he showed us sights we have never seen before. When it was time to head back to the airport, he took us to the train station and gave us instructions on getting back. He is so personable, and our day seemed to fly by. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience. While the tour guide was friendly and we were able to see parts of the city, the interaction often felt awkward as the guide never made eye contact with us. This lack of engagement made it difficult to start a conversation, and large portions of the tour were spent in silence. In addition, the advertised theme of the tour was unfortunately not delivered. We had booked the Hausmann Tour, which promised “stories of transformation, architecture, and design,” but what we received was essentially a standard Paris city tour, including explanations of basic concepts such as a zebra crossing. Overall, the tour did not meet the expectations set by its description, and the guide’s skills appeared to be, at best, average.Paris Tour

Our first trip to Paris was unforgettable, thanks to Alexia! She gave us the perfect mix of history, culture, food, and fun. From Notre Dame and the Marais to Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower. Along the way, she introduced us to amazing local treats like Maison Georges Larnicol, Ladurée, and Les Merveilleux de Fred. We also stopped for shopping along the way and having Alexia with us for language assistance made it much easier. What really stood out was Alexia’s knowledge and passion. Every stop had a story, and she made the city come alive with details we never would have found on our own. She balanced sightseeing with hidden gems and gave us time to soak in each moment, whether it was strolling through a garden, enjoying lunch in Montmartre, or taking in the rooftop view at Galeries Lafayette. She knew which shops to go into and which to avoid. This was helpful in the pastry shops! She also helped us navigate the city and the different arrondissements. We never had to look at our phones for directions! Even more, she felt more like a friend than just a guide- warm, thoughtful, and fun to spend time with. For a first-time visit, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Alexia!1st time in Paris! Great experience!

We booked the tour and provided our detailed food interests to Isabel, however no shop regarding food and snacks was recommended during the tour. Isabel is friendly and very knowledgeable about historical facts however the brief wasn’t really followed. The emphasise of the tour wasn’t based on our interests, but the history of the Jews and especially during the time of the Second World War in Paris. We didn’t choose the neighbourhood of Marais but asked Isabel to recommend a neighbourhood due to our food interests. We specifically indicated our interest for macaron, croissant and cheese and charcuterie and wine. We spent a good 3 hours and received historical and Parisian facts but had to walk into several random shops without any recommendation to get something to eat ; the only food recommendation we received at the end of the tour was for falafel which we didn’t request or were interested in. We ended at a lovely wine bar which we did request but felt it would have been better if this was done half way through. If you are interested in the history of the Jewish population, this will be your tour otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it. A better follow of the brief would have been appreciated.
