Giuly was wonderful, but we had children, aged 7 & 10, and the tour was difficult for them. I think accommodations need to be made if children are in the mix. There was an amazing amount of information, and Giuly was warm and lovely, but it was just overwhelming for the little ones.

We enjoyed our tour with Giorgio but did not find it to be appropriately priced. In contrast to its listed description, we did not experience 10 different food/drink tastings and the tour was not customizable to our wishes. We visited several locations with Giorgio and enjoyed the variety, but the tour's title is misleading and its description should be better clarified. Not Quite 10 Tastings

We had a fantastic experience touring the Uffizi Gallery with Eduardo as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art, but what really stood out was his ability to keep the entire family engaged—including our three young kids! Eduardo made the history come alive, showing us all the most important masterpieces while tailoring the explanations to suit both adults and children. Our 12-year-old even said it was the most interesting part of the day—no small feat when you’re traveling with kids! Thanks to Eduardo, we all left with a deeper appreciation for the art and history of the Uffizi. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend asking for Eduardo. We booked a private Uffizi highlights tour with Alessia for €255. Unfortunately, she never contacted us in advance and only responded when I messaged her the morning of—at which point she canceled, saying she was sick. While we understand that things happen, there was no proactive communication. We also weren’t told that we needed to purchase our own museum admission tickets. The listing states “skip the line access,” so we assumed the tour fee would be paid to the guide. This should be clearly outlined in the tour description and confirmed ahead of time by the guide. Thankfully, Maja stepped in at the last minute and was truly fantastic. She was warm, knowledgeable, and brought the art to life with stories and historical context that made the Uffizi unforgettable. We’d rate Maja a 10 out of 10 and would absolutely recommend her. That said, since Alessia did not communicate proactively or officially transfer the booking, our overall experience with the original guide was a generous 7 of 10.

Giuly was wonderful! We asked her to put together a personal tour of the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens for my nephew and myself and Guily delivered. She was thorough and yet provided space to allow our experience of what she was showing us. We found this to be a nice balance of information and experience. Not only that but she connected our experience with other historical landmarks in relation to the Palace and Gardens that were in different parts of Florence. This gave us a larger perspective of understanding the time in which we were peering into. Guily herself was delighful, light hearted, and attuned to our experience and pacing. She was helpful with other recommendations about what to do in the city from resturants to piazzas. My 18 uear old nephew even commented that it was one of his favorite tours because it was so easliy informative but digestable. Giorgio took us on a great food and local knowledge tour of Florence. We started with a very informative stroll through the farmers market. Next, we walked through the streets as he explained some of the historic buildings and the stories behind them. Along the way, we stopped at several places and sampled food and beverage that the locals enjoy. It didn’t seem like we had enough time. Dina took us on a great tour of the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery. She was very responsive in planning our tour and made adjustments based on what I requested. She was willing to do less than the usual 4 hour tour since we thiught that would be too long for us. Dina was such a great guide that she made our time at the museums one of our favorite activities. She knew just the right pace to go and how much detail to give us to keep it interesting for our group of six. Aside from being so informative she was so fun and easy to be with. Giorgio has a wonderful laid-back demeanor. His knowledge of the foods in Florence and other regions of Italy is impressive. We learned so much and he was able to answer all our questions in detail.
