I tried to contact the tour guide and the original guy I booked with, but no answer. The guide never showed up. I reached out again, no answer. Stull teting to figure out how to get a full refund ... but also still trying to enjoy the rest of my vacation. My kids and I are so disappointed. Of I could give zero hearts and zero thumbs up, I would. Tour guide was a no show

Nothing better than being shown around a city by a born and bred local with first hand knowledge and information. Lucia met us at our hotel and took us around the old streets and Alcazar for two hours recommending authentic restaurants along the way which made for a very enjoyable experience Lovely Lucia!

We had the absolute pleasure of touring Córdoba with Lucía, and she made our experience truly unforgettable. Her deep knowledge of the city’s history was incredible, but what really set the tour apart was how she wove in personal stories from her own family’s experience. Hearing about Córdoba through her eyes—and through generations of her family—brought the city to life in such a moving and meaningful way. Lucía was not only incredibly informative but also so warm, personable, and funny. It felt like we were walking through the city with an old friend who happened to know everything about it. We especially enjoyed that at the start of the tour Lucia utilized a large map of the city and gave a historic overview of specific spots in the city, which helped to provide context throughout the tour. She was also wonderfully flexible, adjusting the tour on the fly to match our interests and adding thoughtful touches that made the day feel tailored just for us. Just want to say thank you to Gloria for stepping in for Lucia at the last minute. Due to good communication with Lucia, we were still able to have a tour...and we were collected from our apartment, a nice touch. Lucia graciously offered to meet us at our hotel, which was a very nice touch to begin our time together. She then gave us an excellent overview of the history of the city, which was just the right way to start our tour. She took us to many sites that were not in our guide book and that we would never have found on our own. She gave us useful suggestions for restaurants, other sites, ticket purchases, etc. If you are planning a trip to Cordoba (which you should because it is a very special place), you should definitely start your visit with a tour by Lucia. Group of 8 did a quick day trip to Cordoba to see the highlights. Lucia was very friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job keeping us all engaged (ages 10-50). She was also very flexible and made changes at the last minute. We highly recommend her!!Lucia was wonderful!

My boyfriend and I had very limited time in Cordoba (only ~8 hours) so we wanted to make sure we maximized our time. Lucia did a phenomenal job of customizing our tour to not only see the most popular sites in Cordoba, but also some of the lesser known. We learned so much from her, she was full of knowledge. We also shared a fantastic lunch together that we otherwise would not have been able to find or experience on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our first evening in Cordoba with our guide Lucia, walking around and tasting local dishes. She is amazing! So gracious, funny and very knowledgeable. She is the real deal, a true Cordobese. We had a great introduction to the Andalusian way of life and background history from her. She gave us really good suggestions of where to get local breakfast and best gelaterias and pastellireas in Cordoba. We were delighted to hear about the Roman artefacts in the area - especially the remains of Via Augusta which is not well documented in tourist brochures. She was very patient with our questions, being academics we must have asked too many! It was also just so nice to just sit back and let her show us her city and order the drinks and dishes for us. The food were all so delicious! Three tavernas and restaurants later we were quite full and could eat no more. We kept chatting like old friends and time simply flew - before we knew it several hours passed. We’re so glad we got to know Lucia. We felt very relaxed for the rest of our visit having spent time with a passionate local who shared our interest in history, food and the environment. Worth every minute!Worth every minute! Lucia is a gem.
